  1. @angelbeast90 Thanks for pointing out the important statement of BSH: the choice between salvation and justice. BSH chose "justice" over salvation hence he was described by LYS as "devil". But the problem is that he is acting as God, he gets to decide who is right and who is wrong. His world consists of black and white. In his eyes, HMS is just like his mother, he can escape justice due to his social status. However, we know the reality: HMS is suffering like the other children. HMS is not bad as such, he made just a poor decision while asking his driver and friend for help. The real cause of HMS's suffering has been created by the mother.

In my opinion, we should be careful to associate the bullying of KEH with CDH's murder. Maybe it is not really related. I had this idea. Maybe CDH was killed by BSH and his minion because the former looked down on the chairman and didn't park correctly at school. CDH showed such a disrespect to BSH and the school as if his "position" entitled him to do whatever he wanted. We know that BSH is really vindictive. Remember how he bursted with rage, when the incident with the fall happened. He really hurt his so called "friend".

So from my point of view, BSH could have invited CDH to his hotel under a false pretense so that he could drug the drink. However, they might have witnessed what happened to KEH hence they decided to bring the guy back to the building so that KEH's bullying would be revealed... and HMS would be targeted.  Notice that LYS has become the scapegoat for their crime. Maybe this was the same with CDH.

  2. I think, we should see CYJ and BSH as opposite characters... while both have a similar origin and suffered terribly, they became totally different. CYJ is determined to help people no matter what, while the other is more focused on his path of self-justice/revenge. Sure, CYJ has always been trying to show a strong side of herself (never show any grief or deep emotions) hence she forced herself to rely on no one, yet due to this kind of behavior, people around her show concern for her and force her to take care of herself or decide to help her without her asking. LSW and KEH had a similar reaction... so basically, she somehow followed BSH's words but in a different way so that she is not really on her own.On the other hand, BSH who declared that he would rely on no one is actually doing the opposite. He has "friends" whom he can use as pawns or even mistreat, in fact he is relying more and more on their work (see the fight and the way they got rid of LYS/ Kevin Jung). BSH didn't take care personally of the consequences. He let the others handle it.

That's why I am more inclined to think that the serial killer of "stigmata" is not BSH... but someone else, maybe YSH. The latter is a strong "follower" of the deceased chairman Kwon, he wants to create an university and as I had said, SSW must have been opposed to BSH because IHJ took a loan from BSH (SSW declared that she was a bad woman)... my belief is that IHJ ordered JKH to retrieve the book as she had no idea where it was but her intention was to give it to BSH and SSW discovered it. YSH's quarrel with the director could have been about the book and not the money/the future project. SSW might have decided to sacrifice himself in order to ensure that with his death, the truth about the real origin of the murders can not be revealed.

The question is: Does JKH know about the real content of the book?

  3. Striking is that HMS's mother represents another form of bad parenting which contrasts so much to the behavior of KEH's mother. The latter has always put her lovers before her son and saw the child as a burden. That's why she neglects KEH so that her son is on his own. The results are that she doesn't know her son at all: his friends, his dislikes, his size, aso.

HMS's mother is the exact opposite. She has expectations from her son, she fears that he might not succeed in keeping his first or second position hence she asked for the answers. She controls her son's life so much that he is suffocating. Remember that he has a booth in his home so that he spends so much time for learning. That's why he keeps hurting himself... this is the only thing that his mother can't control. His room at CDH's flat reflects his desire to escape from his prison, it really shows that despite being 15 years old, HMS is still a child. CYJ was right to remind KTH that KEH is still a child and should be treated as such. KEH's "freedom" contrasts so much to HMS's prison, the latter is forced to act like an adult...

Striking is that his mother is a bad person as she forces her son to commit wrongdoings: cheating, lying...

Yep. DM started inputting KH's number but stopped. Then we saw him confront MS in the school.

And I was right... it was the old man's phone number so that BSH discovered that the old man had been lying to him (he was in touch with JKH) and he followed him to the cabin in the woods. However, I doubt that JKH was there...

  5. I have just finished watching the latest episode RAW and saw the preview. It looks like BSH might kidnap DM's little brother in order to force DM to work for him!:dissapointed_relieved::rage:

CYJ is not just a great friend to KEH but also to DM and HMS. Her greatest strength is that she never judges the people right away.  She knows that despite HMS's secret that the latter must be suffering. She didn't pressure LSW as well. She listens and observes them carefully so that she can figure out their personality. She is in fact very protective and deep down, she senses that BSH is not just a smiling guy.

Since JKH listened to the voice recorder, he must have heard CYJ's words to KEH hence he might try to meet her at some point. I was glad that DM is not so easily influenced by BSH's generosity and nice words... due to his past experience.

Nevertheless, I was disappointed by LSW because it looks like he still remains silence about the cheating. I have the impression that he was not honest with the detective from the youth department. YSH's words seem to have a huge effect on him as he doesn't dare to disobey.

But okay, this is just my interpretation as there were no subtitles and there is no guarantee that I understand it correctly.

  6. @angelbeast90 The children in this drama are suffering a lot or suffered a lot hence I hope, DM doesn't become a new victim in the sense that he is manipulated by BSH. On the other hand, I can imagine that HMS might become the next target.

Notice that LSY (the drug dealer) had been injured by Kevin Jung (leg) and BSH asked his minions to hurt Kevin Jung the same way. In reality, the ending of the battle was already predetermined: I believe that BSH had LSY given Kevin the drug... It is just like the confrontation between the student DM and the school chairman, the latter is already determined to punish DM as he is a weak/poor student. Kevin was led to believe that the fight was fair but it wasn't.

It is not sure if DM will be able to meet JKH as we don't know for sure if the phone number is JKH's phone number. Furthermore, it is not sure if the older man (the one who gave the phone number to DM) knows that KEH has been lying at the hospital and if he has intentionally given a different number.

  7. @angelbeast90LSW hid from KTH because he feels ashamed and embarrassed as he feels responsible for his misery. He knows that he misjudged the situation and because LSW got injured, KTH got expelled and it was already too late. LSW had not protected him well... he failed and seeing KTH made him feel so guilty. He is not really different from CYJ, both made mistakes und felt guilty/burdened by their "mistakes", while we can all say that nobody is perfect. LSW has been trying to keep his distance from the students as he feared, he might make a mistake again.

  8. The deceased chairman and pastor Kwon is clearly involved in the stigmata killing as the blue book was hidden after the chairman's death. This would explain why the murderer told CYJ that this was his last killing because the chairman could have died after the murder of SJ. Sure, the murderer was young nonetheless we can assume that he was not acting on his own. Like I had written last week, it is definitely related to people who were orphans or were raised by a single mother. What caught my attention was that JHK and the director IHJ and SSW had all no family and the mother was deceased.

From my point of view, BSH could have decided to use the chairman's idea (using younger people for his own benefits, abusing them and even forcing them to kill someone) but with another intention: use the abandoned and neglected children who are weak and left unprotected in order to seek "self-justice". I have the feeling that the person attacking LSW could be the caregiver...

All this leads me to this idea that the driver ChoiDH was killed after assaulting KEH as a way to retaliate for KEH's suffering... "self-justice".

Since the bag was with Kevin Jung and the latter died after meeting BSH, we can assume that one of BSH's minions could have been the one who stole KEH's bag, while they were looking for the NLC book.

KMS will now tarnish KEH's reputation as he has the backing of the chairman's school and his mother's. But the more he goes in that direction, the more wrongdoings he will commit. Now it is not just lying...

  9. After watching the last episode RAW, I have the impression that BSH is trying to raise an army of young people who were victims of injustice due to their social situation (neglected or abandoned children from a low social class). It was as if he was aiming at creating a new belief/religion which would explain why he wanted to become the chairman of NLC and why JHK is running away from him. The latter is a really strong believer and I doubt that he would accept BSH's new philosophy.

The fact that BSH is now approaching DM and the caregiver was the student whom LSW wronged in the past, are huge indications that BSH is really dangerous despite his laughing and smiles. The preview showed that LSW will become a target and I suspect that YJ will appear on time to save him. Striking is that YJ had the reflex to put between DM and BSH. It was as if she was protecting the student from the chairman. Unlike LSW, YJ is a good judge of character. She could tell right away that DM was innocent and MS had injured himself in order to put the blame on DM. LSW almost fell for the same trick like in the past. He started implying that DM had done something wrong but he was stopped by YJ right away.

BSH's speech for KEH in the last episode from last week is now more understandable... he will come back to him because he believes that he will be able to influence KEH so that the latter will join his side. However, he is wrong because KEH has always had a good role model next to him: YJ. I also hope and think that DM will be able to perceive the chairman's dark side as DM has YJ and the other police officer by his side.

@bebebisous33 Hi, do you think OHJ was forced to admit he did his best to save Isu or was he forced to face the fact that he wasted time pursuing the killer instead of going directly to save her? Was he really in denial of this fact or is this just KYH manipulating even me? Lol

That's KYH manipulating him... KYH was actually acting as the devil's voice, that's why while hearing his reproach, he remembered his action and realized that I Su never showed any sign of hatred, resent or disappointment.

And the thing is that while Hwang said I Su, she was thinking of a loved one, whereas KYH mentioned his own name, it was hatred. Remember that OHJ questioned during the interview if hatred or love was the trigger for mentioning a name... For the serial killer, he always saw it as a sign of hatred... while Hwang was remembering in the last moment before suffocating the person she really loved! Hence for KYH, Hwang must have named her out of jealousy and greed and misunderstood her action. That's why Hwang felt so guilty...

  11. @dramafan33 @Prettysup To me, it was clear that OHJ went to I Su's grave because he put the ring on his finger. All this time, he didn't dare to have his wedding ring on his finger because he felt guilty for I Su's death. After the confrontation, it changed. OHJ's pain has lessened as he was forced to admit himself that he did his best to save her. He can now feel reconnected to I Su and he can face her hence he wants to see her grave or her ashes.

I really liked the confrontation between KYH and OHJ. The serial killer not only saw in OHJ a kindred spirit but wanted to "blame" him for becoming a serial killer. He was the one who said that killers just follow their instincts. They are born so. And in my opinion, KYH was somehow tormented. Why? There are many clues for this conclusion:

    - The question he asked the profiler as a child

The way he tormented people before killing them. He forced them to name a person who would be killed and claimed that they were the responsible ones for their death. However, deep down he felt the urge to kill. He tried to legitimate his own actions by using forced confession.

    - The fact that he always tried to use others for murders. His childhood friends are the best examples... but also Hwang and OHJ. Notice that during their confrontation, KYH blamed the profiler for his fiance's death. He always put the blame on them. It was as if he was washing his hands on others.

    - Then he told Hwang that deep down, everyone wants to kill someone as they are greedy.  And if everyone feels the same (the urge to kill), then KYH is not different from the others. That's why his nickname was The Guy. He wants to be "normal", while on the other hand he doesn't try to control his "urges". His need of normality was mentioned many times.

This would explain why he has an altar in his hideout. He has definitely been influenced by his parents. He has somehow seen how shocked his parents were... and all his actions remind me of a "priest" (last confession, an altar, the friends as trinity, the doll as a new version of "Virgo Mary")... He created his own religion and world where he can kill others as he is acting like a priest: forcing people to admit their sins (greed...).

@bebebisous33 Yes. After saying I realized something that DM has given something to KEH by being a companion to him , his time and even he visited KEH at hospital bed. I think that is more better than a monetary gift or a physical gift. The gift of listening to each other and being beholden to each other with this bond of friendship is more expensive. But both are now equally in trouble. Thank god there is a CYJ who came into their life.

But BSK will not agree with me though that god helps who helps themselves:lol: As he is an atheist , I guess he believes that we are left with our own consequences so we should seek our own justice because a hero will not come to help you.

Yeah I too am curious about YJ 's childhood and her parents. We as viewers met her in the forest with her friend. Maybe we will get a flashback of them in school with other friends of them at a later episode.

That's why I am hoping that CYJ might change his perspective, once he witnesses her dedication to uncover the truth... BSH is just a disillusioned and resentful man as he has a very pessimistic vision of the world due to his past and childhood. Furthermore, he has a black and white mindset. I am quite sure that he considers LSW is the same than his sister and her husband YSH. But CYJ represents such a contrast to him due to her selflessness. Sure, both have something in common: their painful past and their loneliness. Yet CYJ didn't resent SJ's mother for her harsh words. She is still in touch with her. Moreover she is still seeking justice with legal means. She might have been hurt a lot in the past but unlike him, she helps others without asking anything in return. She is totally selfless while I believe that BSH's help is not entirely free.

CYJ has been able to move KEH and to some extent DM... It would be great if CYJ got aware of her impact on others. She still feels guilty and has somehow a low self-esteem. She doesn't consider herself as a good person or cop, since her only reason to become a detective was to catch her friend's murderer. She became a police officer in order to relieve herself from the guilt by catching the culprit. Yet she doesn't realize that during her career, she did so many good things as a cop. She feels empathy and is a good listener (most of the time), she doesn't judge people right away and she doesn't let a social status affect her judgement. She comforted DM and didn't criticize him for anything...

By the way, I had another idea: what if JHK is really innocent but his only "misdeed" was to be so blinded by his faith that he didn't notice what was happening around him? Imagine the irony...

I am still bothered by JHK's words, when the latter told KEH that his good deed would be soon rewarded. The irony was the opposite happened.

Let just say that when he took the blue book from BSH, he wanted to reveal the chairman's plan to ruin NLC, unaware that the book might contain another signification. I have the impression that BSH might not be the only one who wants that book back.

  13. @angelbeast90 This drama underlines many things:

    - friendship between a child and an adult is possible

    - having a family doesn't necessarily mean happiness, see f. ex. DM/KEH, it can be a burden

    - destroying the myth: being a mother implies that you are a good mother

By the way, I am wondering if YJ was supposed to be the target because she is an orphan. Until now, she was shown alone... and I am suspecting that she has no family. Her friend was not selected because she had a family... maybe the common point between the victims was their social/familial situation: like one child could have been neglected or abused (but it was never investigated or discovered), YJ seems to be an orphan... like lost children with no real guidance.

  14. @angelbeast90 First, the old man told BSH that he had a good memory of the past and he was the one who showed the picture to BSH. image.png (episode 4, 33:12) Notice that there are 6 children, among them only 2 are not identified: the small boy on the left and the other girl on the right. The fact that he called the chairman of NLC BS first, is a huge clue that they used to know each other very well in the past. The old man mentioned that he was the one who identified SSW with the angel... the fact that he was talking about memories and past is an indication that this man knows more... he is definitely shaddy.

  15. @angelbeast90 @ktcjdrama @Ameera Ali @joccu @ponderings @brenda08

In my opinion, BSH's goal is destroy the NLC and take revenge. Actually, he doesn't believe in god and the scene at the church revealed his desdain for christian religion. He mentioned that a person is on his own and should only rely on oneself. This indicates that he is denying the existence of god and god's help but also he rejects help from anyone, especially from the adults. From my perspective, BSH must have suffered something terrible and everyone from the church closed their eyes: sexual abuse f. ex. BSH is not working alone and I sense that his "team" could have been hurt the same way in the past... which seems to indicate that adults from NLC abused their influence.

On the other hand, JHK is a strong believer and still thinks that he is doing the right thing. His words to KEH reflects a certain naivety. Since BSH was shown in a rather negative light, he is violent and acts as a judge (self-justice), we have all the impression that BSH is a really bad person, especially when we know that JHK has something that belongs to BSH and the latter is looking for him.

However, I would like to point out that we shouldn't forget two things:

    - The former priest SWW killed IJH, the director of Shinsung foundation ... and was involved in the stimagta murders

    - SWW was close to JHK too

    - SWW described IHJ as a bad woman and we know that she bought a lot of land with BSH's help.

As conclusion, I have the impression that SWW saw IJH as someone bad because she "received" help from BSH which indicates that BSH and SWW were also enemies. Yet, since IJH and SWW did bad things, we can not exclude that JHK might have done something wrong as well.

Right now, JHK appears more innocent... but sometimes appearances can be deceiving.

I agree with @angelbeast90 that the old man helping JHK and YSH is indeed suspicious. He could be someone deceiving both JHK and BSH.

In the latest episode, we can see that once neglected and abandoned children meet a nice adult, the latter serves as role model hence both teenagers decide to become the same like their role model. The problem is that for BSH, it is too late. He mistrusts everyone... his smile hides his desdain, hatred and lack of trust. However, I believe that BSH has misjudged LSW because the latter is the son of the former chairman.

My intuition is telling me that YSH, his wife and the old man could be more involved than it appears right now. LSW is on his way to discover that he has been deceived for a long time hence he didn't become the new chairman but YSH, his brother-in-law.

I thought the voice of the mystery caller aka stigmata killer sounded a lot like BSH's driver.....

I was thinking about him too because of his hair color and cut, his body stature... and honestly, BSH's driver has the best position in order to get updated quite quickly.

@Ameera Ali I am not bothered that the teacher is quite small compared to the others, even the students as I am myself quite small compared to my students. What distinguishes a student from a teacher is not his  height but his "strong confidence" .

In the last episode, BSH reveals more and more of his dark side, yet YSH is the person I dislike the most right now: his hypocrisy, his lies, his arrogant attitude as well. He is not bothered that MS has cheated, while LSW is really upset. YSH acts as if he is really superior to LSW...

@bebebisous33Ah now I see why the chairman of NLC and MH  Baek Sangho has an affinity towards KEH. They both keep saving people. His driver was also saved by him and their conversation about him saving children was interesting too . Can I blankly state that he has saviour complex. Whereas KEH does not have this word in his dictionary. Also BSH talk about KEH being 10 times better than any of them was an interesting statement. He feels a bit shady but maybe he is too over zealous!

Well, in my opinion, this shows how difficult his life as a child was and he had no protection back then. Since he said that he was powerless back then and he became powerful, I am thinking that BSH wants deep down to help children who are living in a similar situation: abandoned children with no protection. His admiration for KEH is sincere because unlike BSH, KEH did protect and help people without any power. That's why he said that KEH was so pure... It has become his life motto: save and protect weak children as much as possible because he had no one back then.

But the question is now: how did he get his power? Did he have to commit murder in exchange for his power?

From my point of view, BSH resents YSH and rich people a lot... He is definitely manipulating YSH, notice that he is trying to stop YSH's future plan.

By the way, the money found at the hotel didn't belong to BSH... and he got upset to hear that something illegal happened at his hotel.

  18. @angelbeast90 Well, if you look carefully, it looks like in this story many children are growing up without parents. The chairman of New Life Church and owner of Millenium Hotel is an orphan, then we have DM who assumes the role as parent. He is the one who is looking for money for his little brother, the latter is not even related to him. His father was not acting as a responsible adult, just like KEH's mother. KEH is mostly on his own and can find some comfort with YJ. Even HMS seems to have secrets from his parents/mother. The room at the driver's flat is filled with expensive toys (collection of rare figurines) and in my opinion, this room was reserved for HMS where he could hide his hobby from his mother. So HMS was quite close to the driver. The only normal family is YSH's family, yet I am suspecting that this is just an illusion too and SWW is not aware of that.

  19. @angelbeast90 Thank god, there was the title in French "la vie devant soi" (Life ahead). It is a book written by Romain Gary under an alias Emile Ajar. He won an award for that book, prix goncourt.

    Summary of Life Ahead
Mohammed, known as Momo, recounts his life in Belleville at the home of Mrs. Rosa, an elderly and sick Jewish woman, a survivor of Auschwitz, who, as a former brothel owner, raises children abandoned or left in boarding schools by prostitutes. Momo thinks he is ten years old, and he is the only one, with little Moses, who does not know his parents. He considers Mrs. Rosa to be his mother. She is more and more tired and hardly goes out anymore, because of the six floors without an elevator; she is given fewer and fewer children to look after. One day, Momo learns that Mrs. Rosa is suffering from senility. She goes through long periods of absence, and thinks she is reliving her past, dressing as a prostitute or waiting, with a suitcase in her hand, for the French policemen who once handed her over to the Germans during the Vel'd'Hiv round-up. To escape these painful moments, Momo wanders the streets and meets Nadine, a beautiful young woman who works for the cinema. One day, the teenager's father reappears, claiming his son. Mrs. Rosa, conscious that day, makes him believe that she raised her son in the Jewish religion, and that he is in fact the little Moses. Momo's father dies in shock. Momo learns that he is fourteen years old: Mrs. Rosa was bringing him younger to keep him close to her for longer. However, his condition worsens, but she refuses to go to the hospital because she wants to die without being "prolonged". Momo, making the whole building believe that Mrs. Rosa is leaving for Israel, taken away by her family, leads her to the basement, in the "Jewish hole" she has made for herself, in fear of further persecution. That's where she dies. Momo lies next to her for three weeks, until the neighbours discover them, and entrust him to Nadine, to whom the whole story was addressed.

As you can observe, this book is about the longing of love and abandonment. Momo's fate resembles KEH's fate in the sense that he prefers wandering in the streets and even going to the neighbor than being home. His mother has abandoned him, although he knows where she is. Momo in the book refuses to be happy and have a "life ahead" as the world is too rough and hard. Mrs. Rosa is his surrogate mother, just like YJ who also loves him but is not always attentive like the ex-prostitute. however, the huge difference is that KEH is influenced by YJ that's why when he sees a crime, he wants to stop it.

Here, the biological mother of KEH is jealous of YJ as she senses that KEH feels closer to YJ than her. She hated KEH's gaze as she saw her own reflection: in his eyes, she could observe her own shortcomings. She neglected KEH, she kind of abandoned him as she chose her boyfriends over her son. She never thought that love from her son would be fulfilling.

  20. Honestly, I love this drama. The relationship between DM and KEH created by the writer is really moving. Striking is how their relationship contrasts with the one between HMS and KEH. Both have something in common: KEH wants to report a crime... In DM's case, the teenager was caught stealing money and KEH threatened him to call the police. KEH told him that there was a CCTV after JDM had threatened to hurt him forcing him to put back the money... Then after this, KEH asked DM to help him to bring the drunk man to a taxi and the result was that they got rewarded by the man and received the money... so by doing a good deed, DM realized that he could get money... On the other hand, MS had a different reaction... instead of giving in, he used his driver to bully KEH... While DM doesn't consider himself as a friend to KEH as he feels responsible for KEH's accident, MS shows no real remorse, in fact he is more afraid of getting caught.

I hope, we will see more DM/KEH's interactions...

  21. I would like to add that the cheating of MS could be the iceberg of a huge scandal... where did the mother get the answers? It looks like money can buy your child's grads.

I hope, KEH will wake up soon because honestly, I like his relationship with YJ and I doubt that KEH has figured out what is the connection between the serial killing and the doll. But he got aware of something which represented a thread. For me, YH is a big suspect as he is the one who announced that KEH had saved someone.... and he could have known the identity of the injured person. Then he heard from his wife that KEH had been in their home once. He was also present, when SWW received a call where KEH was involved.

That was a good episode. I like the way OHJ set the trap for the Guy/DongSik. I don't think now DongSik can return to the police station he will be on the run.

KYH/DS might be on the run but Hwang will arrest OHJ in order to catch The Guy herself and kill him.

  23. I don't know why but I feel that there could be more than one stigmata murderer, like the killing was part of an initiation hence this would explain why he said that the killing would stop. I have the impression that SWW's father and the cult could have a bigger influence than we know right now. SWW's father died but from my point of view, we saw different pictures of the ex-chairman with many people and this is no coincidence.
