Hmm I think he was disappointed. Disappointed and upset about the situation, how he once again was not there for the wedding and when she needed him most. I'm guessing he was mad at himself.
FJ may be upset at DH when she wakes up but with her personality, she'll get over it quickly. All DH needs to do is pretend to be sick and trick her into hugging him and before she knows it, she'll be rolling around in bed with DH!
I really like the scene in episode 51, where FJ was busy making the sword case and DH was feeding her. They seem like an old couple, at ease with each other and mutually recognizing each others need. Such a crack up how FJ cuddles up to DH when she thinks he was upset.

That was really cute! She just blurted that out.
There is no doubt that DH would have carried her in to the hot springs, if they were officially married or no one were around.
It's total bliss to watch FJ being pampered by DH. I think FJ only realise at the end, how DH listens to every word she says and quietly help her dreams come true.
SpoilerRandom thought. FJ is better at adapting to change in relationshion compared to DH. As long as she knows DH is alive and kicking, FJ continues on to live her life, even if they are not together. But for DH, he pretty much gives up when FJ is not with him.
But that could be because FJ grew up with alot of love from family and friends. Whereas DH have no other family, so he probably felt abandoned and given up hope.

@ces8 haha. Before FJ, he just never met a girl worth his time and energy. After FJ, he is definitely making up lost time!
DH is indeed beautifully flawed. He is like many chinese main male leads, who tries to solve everything on his own and does not communicate with others. But his shameless behaviour and sharp comments are at god level. I do like how he adapts quickly and have the skills of a natural player!
It certainly helps that Vengo is gorgeous to look at.

@Ninky yeah. That is the cute thing about DH. When it comes to FJ, there is no pretending. He does what he thinks and disregard everyone else. FJ is also good at making DH happy, she has learnt to offer to cook for him and instantly DH is all smiley.
JH is the classic side female character. On the surface she is all nice, but her actions have double meaning.
I have said this many times, but I absolutely love FJ. Even when she was jealous, she was still mindful of other peoples needs and would not engage in spiteful behaviour to harm others.

@Ninky I wondered if Tang Qi was abit traumatized by the whole plagiarism issue. With the release of the new drama, she must have heaps of new fans and encouragement for her to continue the stories.

@Queen01 you highlighted some really good points.
I absolutely love FJ's character. She is full of life, endless love to give and quick to forgive. She is a very optimistic person overall and strives to better herself all the time.
I only watched FJ and DH's parts in TMOPB. I too questioned why he didn't fight for their love. So to see how hard they both fought for each other in this series was great to see. That is probably why I liked the leads in Love and Destiny. The main leads didnt sit around and waited for fate to do the job, they actively made choices so they can be together.

I haven't read nor watch Eternal Love. But Mo Yuan and Shaown's story sounds interesting. Especially when Shaowan is DH's best friend. Hopefully there will be snippets of DH and FJ in it.
@SGahjumma I was super excited when I read how DH and FJ had a second child. Thanks for sharing that. I MTL the chinese page and I couldn't fully understand what was happening.
I think DH will try to stop having another child. FJ may want more, but that will mean her attention will be divided. With two, I assume DH's reasoning is that they can play with each other and he will have more time with FJ.

The title of the video is : How honorable is Bai Feng Jiu? The emperor of Fox and Donghua Emperor? Why are the Celestials afraid of Qingqiu, and how powerful is Qingqiu?
The commentator in the video has conducted some analysis and in summary concludes that because Bai Zhi and Dong Hua were classmates (as confirmed in the forum earlier as well), they are considered equals. In fact, the Kingdom of Qingqiu can be considered at par with the Heavenly Realm.
It is only when DH took on the role of Emperor of Heaven and Earth, that there was somewhat a distinction. However, he decided to retire and hand over his power to the current Emperor. Overall, the power status has gotten a little complicated over time.
But if one were to gauge power by looking at which family has the most High Gods, the undisputed fact is that half the number of high gods in all the realms can be found in the Kingdom of Qingqiu among the Fox Clan. This implies that they ought to considered the most powerful clan. Whereas in heaven, there is only Moyuan and Dong Hua (it is likely that the current Emperor may be one too, although this is not clear).
In short, the Fox Clan outnumber the Heavenly clan in terms of quantity of High Gods. However, because of their care-free nature, their hold on power is less obvious. Moreover, the Heavenly clan have founded a stronger base of power with their numerous generals and soliders; they have more talents.
To conclude, Qingqiu is indeed a force to be reckoned with and even the current Emperor in Heaven dare not offend QingQiu (e.g. handling Bai Qian's wedding arrangement with the second son then and the fix they were in when he decided to run off with a snake)
Edited: I forgot to mention that Feng Jiu, if I am not mistaken, is in charge of the Eastern part of the Kingdom of QingQiu. And the Holy Sea which is DH's residence (if I didn't hear incorrectly) and the mountain where Su Su was residing falls into her jurisdiction.

Now DH married FJ, the Kingdom of QingQiu is undefectable!
Strangely enough, DH's unique character probably suits the Kingdom of QingQiu more than Heavenly Clan.

I am rewatching the drama on Viki. My gosh, the translation makes alot more sense. I can watch the drama without getting stuck and trying to make sense of the conversations.
While rewatching the drama, one thing that really stood out is how beautiful Reba is as FJ and how handsome Vengo is as DJ. Novels often describes the main leads as stunningly attractive, I can't say that for most novel characters in live action dramas, but Reba and Vengo definitely lived up to the descriptions.
Also, the sets and CGI. They must have spent a fortune on this drama. There were so many beautiful sets and streamless CGIs scenes. The drama as a whole was a delicious visual feast.
I have never thought of this before, but what a treat it would be if Reba and Vengo gets to work on another fantasy drama together again.

@FloraImmortal thanks for the anime. Usually the characters in animation looks better than live action. But in this case Reba and VG looks stunning already, on top of their looks, the EoLD sets and CGI really makes the EoLD fworld come alive.

I bet before XY knows it, DH would be out the door with FJ on a date, and XJ is left baby sitting BGG!

@cyang923 the editing could have been better. If I remembered right, DJ did try to find FJ. When DJ asked FJ's family, they did not help him and he was desperately trying to find her. Eventually, he abused his position and forced FJ to go to him because he knew he was going to dye soon.
I don't speak Mandarin, so I am not sure if this was included in the drama. But when FJ went to the mortal realm, DJ spent alot of his time at the Blue sea (?) home to build the house FJ designed and planting the veggies she wanted to grow.

Me too. I loved how DH just causally strolled down, praised FJ and got on with it. He really didn't care who was there, he was just as affectionate towards FJ as always.
But then again, that was probably DH's game plan. He showed everyone that FJ is taken and FJ's family will have to accept him.
@Barbedflower DJ is so honest right. If I am correct, he couldn't make promises about the future to FJ's family. But he can promise to let FJ do whatever she wants. Based on their past, DJ does indulge her. He can predict what she will do and what trouble she may get into, but he tends to watch over her and as long it does not involve a male, he would go along with her antics.

I think Reba is more famous in Vengo in China.
I finished watching the raws. I am satisfied with the overall drama. I know some were not happy with the lack of passionate kisses for the last part of drama, but I think it is more realistic that DJ kisses FJ on the forehead. DJ/Vengo is so tall, I imagine it must be back breaking for him to try and kiss FJ/Reba on the lips when they are standing.
I also really liked how they included BGG in the end. The couple were loving towards each other, yet focused on their son.
If I didnt misheard it, I found it highly amusing when BGG turned around and saw his parents in an affectionate position. His comment was "parent are being affectionate again". Sounds like a common scene that BGG sees.

JC is another amazing male lead.
At first glance, I think JC and DJ are quite different. But I agree that they are similar in the way they are emotional when it involves their love interest.
I think once JC and DJ recognized their love for their respective female leads , they went all in!
Before meeting their respective love, JC and DJ never had a romantic relationship, so it was easier to be calm and logical, since they were not emotionally invested.
The DJ in TMOPB didn't have the 'freedom' to love FJ, so he most likely kept everything in, like I mentioned before in another post, I wouldn't be surprised if the DJ in TMOPB behaves similar to DJ in ELOD if he didn't take his name off that stone.
JC and DJ are similar in that they believe they can pave their own destiny. They are both smart and strategic. They get straight to the point. That is why they can be in the powerful position they are in. Most importantly, they are loyal and respectful to their comrades.
The negative is that they are so use to taking charge and not needing to answer to anyone, they don't explain their actions. Which consequently caused many misunderstandings.
JC and DJ differs in the style they solve problems. DJ does what it takes to sort the issue, whereas JC' actions are righteous and honorable. DJ's approach reflects his upbringing. He never had adults to give him and so he didn't need to think of others.
I love JC and DJ's character equally. Their sharp mouth amuses me. It is fun to observe DJ, but if I meet him in person, I think I may become too frustrated by DJ'S pranks and playfulness!

The Blue Sea will be there holiday home!
I couldn't bring my self to watch the last two episodes for this week. I ended up watching Eternal Love, just DH and FJ's bits. Sigh, just as heart breaking. The idea that they spend the rest of their life pinning for each other is tragic.
