(we are a small community of 39,000 people
) (because of pb airing, our community went from 6000 to 30,000+ within 2 months, and with new fans, comes the (what we refer to as dw, du wei (毒唯) poisonous fans of one person in the ship) less than welcome fans. then we made a rule that you can't post anything until you reach level 6 (you go up levels by commenting, signing in everyday, liking posts)
we stay in our circle, but sometimes the dw slip into our dms and send some very mean pictures and messages to us.
ranking wise, we are around ranking number. 21-25 in the ships category. (when pb was airing, we were around 6-12) for reference, number 1 ranking ship community is xiao zhan x wang yibo. there are not tags within the communities, but you can use tags when you post, which work like hashtags in instagram.
sometimes, it gets a bit toxic (bc we have to block the dw) so i escape to the equivalent of reddit/forums: tieba, which has less people and is a forum.
Thanks for the insight. I was watching the ood Happy Camp video. Vengo got fired up at the end after an actor said something about Reba. Di you mind clarifying what was said that made him speak up?

@katfindlay thanks for sharing the reddit post.
The separate EoLD closure clips of D and V were interesting. I noticed how D's clip was edited when she went on a rant about DH and other females. I haven't watched many D's interviews, but I see her as someone who is usually concise. Maybe her emotions got the best of her?
After reading so many fan analysis. D is like FJ in some ways, and V is like DH. D is playful and V quietly pampers and looks after her.

I just listened to it again. The song is beautiful. The lyrics suited perfectly for TMOPB FJ and DH.
@jimmylyne. Their kissing scenes with other actors are pretty good. But I find something magical, when Reba and Vengo are just looking at each other in the ELoD. Their gaze become gentle, and full of love and affection. To me that is more satisfying than a "bed scene" or kiss scene.

Similarly, the song lyrics are so poetic. I have read many translated versions. I am most thankful for any translation, but somehow I think some of the translated songs did not convey orginal language underlying message.

Hmm good question. I'd like to know too! Just reading the translation, it makes me think he is reflecting on his life. It sounds like a lonely existence through out the years. But I may have totally misinterpreted the sentence! Since I think some times the message got lost in translation.

@chsaf my gosh. That is Good spotting. I watched the clip before and I wondered how Vengo totally missed Reba's hands. What you said make sense.
During the same Happy Camp episode, Vengo got slightly outraged and was displeased with another actor's speech. I wondered what that was about.
Ladies, you know how Reba and Vengo separately recorded a message for the characters at the end of the drama. I thought it was werid how they both mentioned FJ's jealousy, when it felt to me that DH was the one with the issue.
Realistically, apart from JH, FJ had nothing to worry about. DH treats majority of the females as air. He never really interacted with other females and when he did, he had not behaved in anyway that may have given them ideas. While Vengo on the other hand, have a playful and friendly manner. Which may be misinterpreted as interest by the opposite gender. Haha, here is my delusional thought, thinking may be it's Reba warning Vengo to stop being so friendly with other ladies!
On a side note. Reba is super adorable and her voice is nice. Her mannerism as FJ is so different to her usual self. What am amazing actress.
@They Sick thanks for the photo. Lol, is Vengo pulling a DH move? Making sure other males know that Reba is taken?!

My gosh. Instagram and Twitter are such rabbit holes. I made the mistake of searching #光热CP.
I can't believe that Vengo and Reba met in 2013. They have quite the history together, and have a fun and trusting relationship in real life. They certainly have no personal space boundaries between the two of them. At times they seem like a couple, other times they seem like great friends. No wonder their on screen chemistry is so explosive and natural.

Being bullied may have helped hum develop empathy towards the weak. I see DH as someone who cares and feels intensely for those around him. But he may not aware of that and manages this by ignoring most people.
I can't imagine DH being bullied.
Even when DH was young, he was probably some how getting the upper hand without using brute strength.

DH never experienced motherly love. I assume that is the first time he was pampered like a child. He appeared to thoroughly enjoy FJ's attention. For him, he probably didn't care what motivated FJ to treat him like that, as long as it's affection from FJ.
Most guys may find it werid to be treated like that. That is because they have a need to act and behave like a 'man' as society dictates. Whereas DH is confident in his self identity, and does not care how others think of him.
Most importantly, no one ever thought of DH and his needs. Partly because he never let others in to his private world. But FJ, she was probably first to recognized his needs and wants, and considered things from DH's POV in a deeper level. This started in the cave scene, when FJ declared it's okay for him to want sweets. I don't think DH even thought of what he had missed out himself. It may seem like nothing, but for DH, it must be an amazing feeling to know that FJ recognizes this and wants to make sure he gets to experience it.
The scene is rather sweet, now that I reflect back on it. FJ pampered DH because she wants him to be happy and is super happy seeing him happy. DH is happy because FJ is showering him with love and affection. Plus, I think he gets alot of joy to see FJ happy too.

I think it was a good drama. Although the storyline is generic, the way it was filmed and acted was done well. I absolutely adored the main characters. Even though they could have done a lot better job at styling the ML. It was a high quality production drama, compared to many of the web series available.
But, maybe wait for a while before you watch it! The overall package may seem like 3L3W and ELoD have too many gorgeous people in it, so you may unconsciously compare the dramas and not want to watch it. I know I still have a ELoD hangover. I lost count how many times I have rewatched it since the Lockdown.

I heard he shows up at episode 3 in the new installment but only for a few episodes.
That's what I did. Fast forward all the scenes without Vengo in it. He did a great job. His character and mannerisms was totally different to DH. I cried, when he cried. There isn't many romantic scenes in the drama, but you can feel the chemistry. However, it isn't as explosive as D+V.
Overall, he pulled off the action hero well. It's a crack up when you watch the Bts and the real Vengo fooling around with his co-stars.

@Yori Ten thanks for sharing that video of Reba and Vengo describing each other's characteristics. They seem to know each other very well. Especially Reba, she appears to describe Vengo's mannerism perfectly.
Thanks to all fellow soompi members for sharing the juicy evidence of Reba and Vengo's relationship. I have noticed they use to be alot more obvious. Even in public, they happily were in their own personal space and often shared affectionate gazes. In the more recent public events, there are obvious physical distance between them.
I can see why Reba's fans dislike Vengo. They sense a real threat there!

DH was openly laying claim on her from the get go, whether she was a fox or in human form!
I found that scene such a crack up. I think DH really enjoyed watching how FJ dug herself a hole and climb out of it. It does make me wonder how FJ managed to survive all these years without DH's supervision! I suppose FJ have this amazing ability to elicit protective responses from people around her.
