Random question ladies. You know the purple handkerchief DH gave to FJ in Fanyin valley, FH thought it was JH who gave it to DH, because of the character on it. Did the author ever explained the origin of the handkerchief and what the character stand for?

The scene where FJ blow her nose, wiped it with DH's handkerchief than throwing it to the ground..and then she make a face at DH..
even LS feel entertaining or was it jealous? Confounded? with DH and FJ interaction.. Yeah. The whole breaking twig scene was so funny. Especially when FJ was dead serious, but I think DH was highly amused.

Hmm I wonder. I have only watched Reba in Sweet Dreams with Deng Lun, and the BTS. I didn't observe the playfulness that Reba have when she is with Vengo. Most importantly, she always seems to be more feminine, physically affectionate and dependent on Vengo.
When I watch the old clips of Reba and Vengo, I enjoy seeing how Reba always looks at Vengo and unconsciously lean towards him. Whereas Vengo is constantly watching out for Reba and making sure she is looked after. It's cute when he is standing behind her. It's almost like he is at the back protecting her. I miss seeing them in that position.

@TheLastBloomwhat an amazing analysis. I loved the Mortal Realm arc. It was a beautiful journey to watch them fall in love. I absolutely broke down when XF found JM after the war and went through with the wedding.
I must acknowledge that the whole crew did a fantastic job. The sets, costumes, actors, music, directing and editing turned this drama into a master piece. I also want to acknowledge Deng Lun's voice. Omg, I can listen to him talk all day!

I may be in too deep, but I see Reba just as playful as FJ, when she is with Vengo. And Vengo indulges Reba, just like DH does with FJ.

Unless BGG's choice is very bad, I don't think that FJ and DH will interfere. Even if the future girl is a mortal, or an spiritual animal who gained enough cultivation to have human form. (Looking at you Tianjun for discriminating against Su Su and Shao Xin).
I envision BGG as an adult to be icy face and not talkative, but less shameless compared to his dad.
BGG's sister will probably be more like FJ, very lively but may be smarter

JH believes herself to be good/a paragon until the bitter end. Regardless of the evil she's committed, she truly believes that her intentions are justifiable. This is the very reason why everybody hates her character more so than any other antagonist in the series. I blame the writers for not investing more into her redemption. If they truly wanted her to have a happy ending, they should have invested the time to redeem her. It was probably never going to be enough, but they should have least made an effort. Or, they couldn't see a way out for her either
Good point. JH makes excuses for herself and thinks all her actions are justified. Even though JH is older then FJ, FJ's thinking and actions are more mature. FJ continued to better herself, whereas JH never learnt from her mistakes.

JH is weak to temptations and manipulations. It's a shame. She had showed some positive characteristics at the beginning of the drama.

That is an interesting change in episode 24. I interpret that as DH already taken an interest in FJ and is actively seeking her attention in his own shameless ways.

Yeah, the book can be hard to follow.
Omg, this while scene is so cute.
CY's shy/embarrassed expression is adorable. AR is so bold! It's like stereotype gender actions swapped around.
Vengo and Reba acted well in this scene. I still wish AR and CY had a happy ending, even though they had to suffer for DH and FJ to be together. Someone please write a happy ending for them!
In reflection, none of the characters in Fan Ying Valley had a happy ending.

I watched a clip, I vaguely remember, that the interviewer asked her to identify something sweet that a boyfriend does. Her reply was when she is doing something and looks up to see him watching her.
In the older videos of them on shows, does seem like Vengo is always looking at Reba and standing close by, and he appears to be attentive to her needs.
