*** I'm glad that “Delayed Justice” enjoyed a boost in its viewership ratings last night! According to Nielsen Korea, the November 7 episode of the drama scored average nationwide ratings of 4.1 percent and 5.6 percent for its two parts, marking a modest increase in viewership from its previous episode the night before. I'm watching this..................I find it good not because KSW is there.

*** Kwon Sang Woo ruptured his Achilles tendon while working out. He already had surgery when he hurt his ankle bone and ligament, and this same part became a problem again. Kwon Sang Woo is scheduled to undergo surgery to reconstruct the ruptured area. As soon as the result for his COVID-19 test comes out, he will undergo surgery. He will most likely undergo operation today. Thus, they will have to consult with the film and drama teams to coordinate future schedules since Kwon Sang Woo is currently filming for the film The Pirates: Goblin Flag (literal title) and SBS drama Delayed Justice. Most of his scenes in The Pirates: Goblin Flag have already been filmed, but Delayed Justice, which just aired its 4th episode, will have to face some setbacks as he would have to be absent for some time. :anguished:

*** Yesterday, November 14 Son Tae Young posted to Instagram to share that Kwon Sang Woo’s ankle surgery had gone well with a caption - “Thank you to everyone for worrying for us… the surgery went well…”  He is holding up his script for “Delayed Justice” in his hospital photo. I hope for his speedy recovery.

***One of the staff from Su Company, KSW's Label had tested positive for covid19 so Kwon Sang Woo underwent testing as well. He received his test results today and they were negative.  Although his test results were negative, he will be in self-quarantine for the next 14 days per the state rules. As a result, filming for his drama series 'Delayed Justice' will be halted. The confirmed employee wasn't present at the set of the drama but they will be suspending shooting for the sake of the cast and staff's safety.  :anguished:

Several actors have reported negative COVID-19 results.

On December 7, a source from the drama “Delayed Justice” reported, “One of Kwon Sang Woo’s staff tested positive for COVID-19 on December 6. Kwon Sang Woo was tested and he received a negative result. He is currently in self-quarantine.” They also stated, “The staff member did not visit the set of ‘Delayed Justice.’ However, as our top priorities are the safety of the cast and staff and the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, we are planning to discuss the rescheduling of future filming.”

*** Lee Jung Jae may be taking over Bae Sung Woo’s role in “Delayed Justice.” The latter was booked for a DUI (driving under the influence) last month, and his driver’s license has been suspended. Yesterday,  December 11, the drama’s production team announced his departure from the drama and shared new plans for filming and broadcast. They are housed under the same agency.

6 Actors Who Are Celebrating Their 20th Anniversary This Year

Today we’re celebrating a big milestone — actors who’ve been working in the industry for 20 years. These actors got their start some 20 years ago, whether it be through dramas, commercials or film, and all have been diligently working till this day. They all have outstanding filmographies and have starred in some of the biggest hits in K-dramaland. More impressively, all these years later, they’re still huge names and continue to churn out works that are critical and/or commercial successes.

Here are six actors — in no particular order — who are celebrating this big milestone this year, and two of their earlier and most recent hits:

Kwon Sang Woo

Stairway to Heaven” (2003-2004)

Stairway-to-Heaven-540x405.jpg

Kwon Sang Woo made his drama debut in 2001 with “Delicious Proposal.” Two years later, he shot to stardom after starring as Cha Song Joo in the hit melodrama “Stairway to Heaven,” alongside Choi Ji Woo and Kim Tae Hee (who also makes an appearance on this list). This is probably the most famous drama in Kwon Sang Woo’s filmography, and for good reason. “Stairway to Heaven” was part of the epic Hallyu wave of that time and has affected K-dramaland profoundly, making way for all the tear-jerking, amnesia-involving, epic-love-story dramas to come.

Delayed Justice” (2020)

This currently-airing SBS drama is based on the true stories of a lawyer-journalist duo who successfully obtained retrials for wrongly convicted men. Kwon Sang Woo stars as Park Tae Yong, a public defender who became a lawyer with only just a high school diploma. Coming from a lowly social background himself, he makes sure to defend those who are mistreated or face malicious prosecution. He hides his insecurities with confidence and bravado, and he uses these qualities to fight against the system. Alongside him is Park Sam Soo, a reporter who has a knack for writing articles that can deeply move his readers.

Jung Woo-sung to replace Bae Seong-woo in drama 'Delayed Justice'

Actor Jung Woo-sung will replace Bae Seong-woo in the ongoing SBS drama “Delayed Justice,” Jung's agency Artist Company announced on Monday.

Bae stepped down from the role following an investigation into his alleged drunk driving in November.

The drama, also known by “Fly Dragon” which is the more literal translation of the Korean title, will cut most of Bae’s scenes from episodes 1 to 16. Jung will begin appearing from episode 17. The series is set to have 20 episodes.

It’s been eight years since Jung has appeared in a drama, his last being JTBC’s ”Padam Padam: The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats.”

  • 2 weeks later...

*** Just finished watching his movie "The Divine Move 2" and the action of he movie is enough to keep me invested since it’s KSW’s movie. The second half of this film is apparently entertaining, not to mention there are still plot holes and weak character development along the way. So watch this film only if you're a true Kwon Sang-woo fan. The take on the bathroom brawl here is fantastic! Add to that, it's 1h46min runtime, making it pretty damn short by South Korean film standards.
