LMH isn’t very well known in the UK - yet. So I was astonished to find that The Heirs

is trending here on Netflix UK.  Only BOF, The Heirs and now The King are on Netflix UK so it looks like people are watching The King and then looking for other LMH /KES dramas.

How good is that!

Watch: Lee Min Ho Is Full Of Affection For His Horse Co-Star Maximus In “The King: Eternal Monarch”

Lee Min Ho has shared a cute behind-the-scenes video from the set of SBS’s “The King: Eternal Monarch!”

Uploaded to his own YouTube channel, the video shows Lee Min Ho bonding with his equine co-star, Maximus. The actor has previously talked about his affection for his special co-star in an interview.

The video opens with beautiful shots of Lee Min Ho being a literal prince on a white steed, riding into the sunset, through a sunlit forest, and other scenes befitting his role as Emperor Lee Gon. As the video proceeds, Lee Min Ho can be seen affectionately petting the horse between takes, gazing into his eyes, and feeding him candy.

At one point, the actor is confused when Maximus (with Lee Min Ho on his back) pulls his head down to nibble at some leaves on the ground. Then he just laughs and says, “Why is he eating leaves?”

The PD asks him, “Do you think your horse is the only one that listens?” and Lee Min Ho quipped, “The important thing is who is doing the driving.” When the PD asks, “Is it fun to ride a horse for two days?”, Lee Min Ho replies, “Is it fun? Do you want to try it?”

Check out the video with English subtitles below!

Lee Min-ho is portraying in "The King: Eternal Monarch" with extraordinary effort and passion.

Lee plays Lee Gon, the third emperor of the Korean Empire, in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "The King." A person who goes through a tragic incident 25 years ago and sleeps with death every night at a young age. From the inevitable battle with Lee Rim (Lee Jung-jin), a traitor who wants to possess the key to the parallel world, and the romance with Jeong Tae-eul (Kim Go-eun), who lives in a different world, Lee Min-ho is playing the character Lee Gon, who has a dramatic narrative, with a sense of balance depending on each character and situation. In the fourth episode, Lee Gon and Tae-eul stepped on the land of the Korean Empire together, reaching the peak of viewers' expectations.

As the romance of "LeeEul Couple" ripens with Lee Min-ho's captivating eyes, stills capturing moments of Lee's efforts and passion after ecstatic scenes are drawing attention. In the behind-the-scenes cut of "The King," which was released on Thursday, Lee Min-ho does not let go of the monitor even during a break as well as pre-shooting script research. Lee Min-ho shows his passion for acting as he scrutinizes carefully with serious eyes.

Lee is said to be paying close attention to every scene, constantly sharing opinions with directors and fellow actors. He pays attention to every line and movement in the scene in order to portray the three-dimensional storyline and character's emotional lines with imagination. Lee Min-ho's efforts have continued on since the end of October last year when filming began. In order to capture his character's personality and depth, Lee has spent a long time, internally and externally, making careful efforts, including written speech, tone of voice, breathing, costumes and posture. In particular, he is drawing praise from the staff at the scene with his amazing memorization skills, with scripts and monitors by his side.

In addition, Lee practiced various sports such as rowing and horseback riding and performed all of them, in line with the setting that he is a perfect monarch with both literary and martial art skills. Lee Min-ho has been known to have high-quality horseback riding skills, but he has thoroughly refined such skills to show the dignity of an emperor. In addition, to express the setting of mathematicians and scientific figures, he made a lot of preparations for the drama by visiting Seokjojeon Hall in Deoksugung Palace to study history.

Lee Min-ho has spared no effort to enhance the perfection of his role as emperor in the genre of parallel world fantasy romance. "The King," starring Lee Min-ho, is broadcast at 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night.

Come on, Maximus. I really want to have a haircut.
It was a nice, gentle white horse.~
It's soft and it doesn't smell.
With permission from the horse manager,
Actually, that kid is Benjamin.
Maximus will be filmed first and replaced.

Hi Lindyloo, I hope in the near future  his name will ring a bell there in your side.....Netflix Korea always decline to disclose the number of subscription in Korea but, they said that there's a temporary surge in streams due to lockdown. But, I guess this will be short-lived, though.  I'm glad that his current drama is doing well via Netflix   outside Korea.
