*** We're almost at the dawn of 2024, and with the new year will come a whole host of new upcoming K-Dramas to keep us entertained. One of them is Lee Min Ho's "Ask The Stars" (When The Stars Gossip) This is the drama that I have been anticipating for quite a while now, I cannot wait to see him! Lee MinHo has been teasing me with this upcoming drama since 2023 and the pre-released stills are raising my curiosity even more. After much anticipation, I hope we're going to get this space rom-com in 2024. Please..... In this genre, I cannot wait to see what they have in store.  :heart3:

Now I an urge to rewatch LOTBS.

@CarolynH  thanks for sharing this. I've re-watched this drama many times and it's worth it. I loved it! Not perfect though, because I did have a couple minor issues but the OTP is great. They have this undeniable chemistry. They are what make this drama shine. I adored all of their interactions. This couple just made me happy on so many levels. I find the drama very good. The story line is very captivating and keeps glue to the end. "Legend of the Blue Sea" was a fantastic drama! I really loved Lee Min Ho as a conman since he got to show many different sides of himself.  He’s very lively and it was so much fun watching him. He made me smile so much with his funny expressions. He always has this presence that makes him shine in dramas. Lee Min Ho always has this ability to pull me into his character’s feelings to such a deep degree. Since I don't really dig historical genres, the historical portion of the drama was the least for me.   :kitty:

8 K-Dramas To Celebrate Christmas With This Year

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, with mistletoe, hot cocoa, thick sweaters, fuzzy blankets, snowflakes, and warm fireplaces. It’s that time of the year, as Christmas is upon us and the festivities come bearing their own significance in the K-drama world. It is a time of hope for some, nostalgia for others, and new beginnings for the rest. Here’s a look at eight K-dramas that set the mood for Christmas.

Heirs

Lonely, rich boy Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) tries to keep himself invisible from his domineering older brother Won (Choi Jin Hyuk). But things change after he meets Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye). He returns home and discovers that she is not only his classmate but also happens to live in his home. Eun Sang is the daughter of the Kim household’s help. Some serious sparks fly between the teens, there are a host of stolen kisses, and there is still hesitation given their situation.

Kim Tan shows his defiance toward his family and everyone when he escorts Eun Sang to a swish party during the holiday season. And it is here that he introduces her as his girlfriend, much to the shock of his family.

“Heirs” makes for a perfect rewatch this Christmas. Growing pains, the first blush of love, and a fabulous ensemble cast make for a cozy fare.

Start watching “Heirs”:

It’s hard to believe that another year is nearly gone and we still don’t know when Ask the Stars will be released - what its  title will actually be - or if it will be on Netflix. Talk about keeping up the suspense! I’m sure I read that .MYM are involved in the production of this (like they are in ORV) so I guess  LMH has been heavily involved in the post production with CGI etc.

Has anyone seen a date yet for Pachinco 2? It has a lot to live up to following the incredible response that the first series got. Fingers crossed.

It’s going to be an incredible year with the 2 dramas airing isn’t it?

Seasons greetings everyone and Happy New Year.

***Dispatch Korea came up with a list of dramas in 2024 that viewers should be excited about. From that list, I selected the few I would be interested in checking out. True, it's possible that "Ask The Stars" was not released this year due to its post-production when production has wrapped-up some time back.   :heart4:
