On May 3, Ilgan Sports reported that Ahn Hyo Seop will be starring in “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” as the main lead Kim Dok Ja. Maeil Kyungjae further reported that Lee Min Ho is also in talks for the film.

 

In response to the reports, a source from Ahn Hyo Seop’s agency The Present Company shared, “He has received an offer to star in the film ‘Omniscient Reader’s Perspective,’ and he is reviewing the offer.”

 

A representative of Lee Min Ho’s agency MYM Entertainment similarly shared, “It is true that Lee Min Ho received an offer to star in ‘Omniscient Reader’s Perspective.’ It is one of the projects he has received an offer for. Nothing has been decided yet.”

 

“Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is based on a web novel of the same name and follows the story of Kim Dok Ja, whose world suddenly changes into that of the web novel he read. In addition to the web novel, the ongoing webtoon is also receiving much love from fans.

 

Ahn Hyo Seop is reportedly in talks to play Kim Dok Ja, who is working together with his allies to save the world after it starts to follow the plot of the web novel he read, while Lee Min Ho has reportedly been offered the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, the original main character of the web novel that Kim Dok Ja read.

 

The upcoming film will be produced by Realies Pictures of the “Along with the Gods” series and helmed by director Kim Byun Woo of “The Terror Live.” More than 20 billion won (approximately $15 million) has reportedly been invested in production costs, and follow-up projects are also scheduled.

so the webtoon is about kim dokja, a survival novel's only reader and in that novel the main character is yoo jonghyuk (lmh's character).

 

the story is about kim dokja's world turning to that novel and then the only one who can save the world is him because he is the only one who did read it all, people do say that both kim dokja and yoo junghyuk are main characters, but from my perspective kim dokja is the sole main character because he has more screen time than yoo jung hyuk and the manhwa is really following kim dokja not junghyuk, in the previous post i said that junghyuk is more like a supporting role because in the manhwa you will see plenty of times dokja without him being associated with jonghyuk but the scenes that jonghyuk has without kim dokja beside him are really countable with our fingers.

 

anyway,despite all this jonghyuk has his charms thats why maybe people consider him a main character as well. and if lmh accepted then maybe the movie makers did some changes to the original because in most articles they say its "based" on it, not a 100% copy of it.

Yes, I found it on Line Webtoon last night and I've started from 0.0. The newest was 147. (Ep. 26(4)) released on 2023/4/30 and was updated once a week.

According to MYM Entertainment, the agency representing Lee Min Ho, the actor has been offered a role in the upcoming film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. On May 3rd, the agency told X Sports News, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is one of the projects Lee Min Ho has been offered to join.”

 

Ahn Hyo Seop’s agency, The Present Company, also stated, “Ahn Hyo Seop is currently in the process of reviewing the role that has been offered to him in the film Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.”

 

Based on the web novel of the same name, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint follows the journey of Kim Dok Ja as he tries to save the world that suddenly starts to follow the plot of the web novel he was reading.\

 

Lee Min Ho will take on the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk, who unexpectedly finds himself as the protagonist of the novel he was reading. Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo Seop will play Kim Dok Ja, who teams up with his allies, including Yoo Joong Hyuk, to change the world back to what it used to be.
