*** RAIN shared that Kim Tae-hee does not interfere in his work during May 11 episode of MBC's television show 'Radio Star' where he made a guest appearance. During the talk, the hosts mentioned RAIN's famous work from the past, which was the song 'Where Are You Going, Oppa'. It was a song made by RAIN featuring HyunA.  The song contained a funny lyrics. The song begins with HyunA singing, "Oppa, oppa, where are you going, oppa. Come here and play with me, oppa. Listen to me, oppa. You'll die alone if you just keep working like that. You need to have fun. Have fun with me, oppa."  After that, RAIN sings, "Oh, why? I'm busy. Oh, why? I'm busy. Go play with each other, girls. I'm too busy. My name is Ji-, but RAIN on stage. Everybody falls in love with me within seconds. That's why I keep going back to perform. That's why I'm busy today."  Another host Kim Gu-ra asked RAIN, "I'm just curious, but what does your wife say about this song?" RAIN answered, "The fact is my wife doesn't interfere in my work in any ways, so... Yeah..." Kim Gu-ra responded, "Why don't you ask her about it tonight though? The monthly rental income of the building they bought for 92 billion KRW (about $72.39 million) alone is 200 million KRW (about $157,360). Rain sold the building he bought for 16.8 billion KRW (about $13.22 million) in 2008 for 49.5 billion KRW (about $38.95 million), making a profit of 32.7 billion KRW (about $25.73 million). His wife Kim Tae Hee also earned 7.1 billion KRW (about $5.59 million) by selling the building she bought for 13.2 billion KRW (about $10.39 million)

@willenette  According to reports on May 20, Rain and Kim Tae Hee recently sold their house in Itaewon, Yongsan, Seoul for 8.5 billion Won ($6,695,448.30 USD). The celebrity couple bought the house for 5.3 billion Won ($4,176,385.27 USD) in 2016, which means they earned a profit of 3.2 billion Won ($2,521,591.10 USD).  Rain and Kim Tae Hee reportedly made a profit of over $2.5 million after selling their home.Rain and Kim Tae Hee are said to have lived at the Itaewon house until recently, and it's located in a high-end residential area where you can see both Namsan and Han River.

 

Guess it’s not safe to live there anymore after the recent stalker case.

But the pair came under fire in 2013 following reports that Kim went on dates with the actress while on official military duty, according to The Korea Herald, breaking military service guidelines. The K-pop star was sentenced to seven days of confinement as a result.
Kim stood by Rain amid his controversies. The singer said, “she is really great and truly cares about me”, according to Kpopstarz.

 

 

The pair, who are among the richest couples in South Korea, tied the knot in a small ceremony in 2017, according to Channel Korea. They now have two daughters together.

 

“I’m happiest when I come home, picking up my children’s toys when I enter the house,” said Kim, according News Beezer. “Family is the strength of existence and it keeps me from feeling lonely. My family members give me all my strength by being by my side.”

Actress Kim Tae-hee Donates Face Masks to Charity

 

 

Actress Kim Tae-hee has donated over 1 million face masks to a charity.

 

G Foundation, an international non-governmental charity organization, said Kim joined hands with SB Global Healthcare and Blue D&M in donating 1.1 million face masks worth W980 million to help those in need amid the prolonged coronavirus pandemic (US$1=W1,313).

The masks will be delivered to underprivileged people including children and teenagers.

 

Kim said, "I hope they can stay safe and sound until the pandemic ends."
