Synopsis:

In the sinful city of He Yang, Pan Yue, a handsome gentleman greatly admired by other women, marries Yang Cai Wei, whom everyone despises. On the day of their wedding, Yang Cai Wei is murdered, and the suspect is none other than Pan Yue. Yang Cai Wei gets resurrected and returns with vengeance in her heart under the guise of the notorious Shangguan Zhi, desperately wanting to expose Pan Yue's true identity as the murderer. While bravely fighting against the evil forces of the "Four Great Clans" and investigating old cases, the two hearts become closer. Yang Cai Wei finds out that the real murderer who killed her is someone else, and Pan Yue has loved her deeply from the very beginning. As for the female lead, I find her small face very eyecatching and she acts fairly well.

Sure, he has been in many dramas over the years, like Love and Redemption, Ancient Love Poetry and others. Most recently he had a supporting role in Destined, and before that was one of the leads in Blood of Youth.

It's him!!

When you mentioned his previous dramas, I took another glance.

I took a second glance at the picture and realized it was that villainous-looking guy whom I really like!!!

I love his aesthetics.

I was too lazy to google his name.

I really like him a lot!

I'm glad he's the male lead in this drama.

I really think he deserves to be a lead.

Yep, that's him). I'm very happy for him as well). He has a bunch of new dramas where he is finally a lead- on hold or at different stages of production.

ML is one of my favorite Cdramaland actors. It's probably his first ever proper ML role in a costume drama. I'm very happy for him finally getting the recognition he deserves.

he is not an annoying SL. And Zhi made it clear to him that he is just a friend to her.  

He seems to have accepted it. 

the bickering between him and Pan Yui was my fav part of ep 9...

 

Now, Im waiting for the bromance...

The ML is calm and nice guy. He is not arrogant or disrespectful towards the FL.

She makes her own decisions and he is there to help her when she needs it. 

 

 

 

 

 

I hope Zhue and Bai will be a couple...they have a natural chemistry...

I would give it a 9/10. I know I'm not objective towards LXY, hehe, and I never will be, bcs I like him to the moon and back.   But really,  he truly rocks here. I absolutely love the character he portraits. The team did great job with styling and everything. 

His partner actress is, emmm, ok. But he always has great chemistry will his FLs, so it helps a lot.  However they again did the same "deadly pale" makeup for this actress . Just as in all her previous dramas. This will never change I suppose. 

Overall I'm enjoying it a lot. Already at ep 10.
