Actor Joo Byeong-ha, "Numbers: Wardens of the Building Forest" cast as 'Lee Bo-seong', a third-generation conglomerate... Attracted attention for his detailed acting

http://www.madtimes.org/news/photo/202306/17803_41123_3848.jpeg

Actor Joo Byung-ha is once again making waves as he stars in MBC's new drama "Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest" as Lee Bo-sung, the youngest son of Sanga Group Chairman Lee Chan-joo, a vicious chaebol with no sense of duty.

MBC's Friday drama "Numbers: The Watchers of the Building Forest" (directed by Kim Chil-bong, written by Jung Ahn-Oh Hye-seok, produced by Tiger Studio-A2G Entertainment) is a human office drama in which Jang Ho-woo (played by Kim Myung-soo), a high school graduate accountant, confronts the injustices of a giant accounting firm and realises justice in the most accountant-like and least accountant-like way.

In the first episode of "Numbers: Watchers of the Building Forest," which will be broadcast on 23 June, Joo Byung-ha plays the role of "Lee Bo-sung," a supporting character who works with Han Jae-gyun (Choi Min-soo), Lee Chan-joo (Jung Hae-gyun), and Goo Representative (Cho Hee-bong), and in the third episode, he plays the viciousness of the youngest son of the third generation of chaebols. Joo Byung-ha is a newcomer whose three-dimensional portrayal of 'Lee Bo-sung's' immature and malicious character has raised expectations for his future performance.

On the other hand, Joo Byung-ha has also gained attention for her role as hostess Madam Jung-wook in JTBC's "My Liberation Diary," where she humiliates a traumatised department store employee at Hyun-jin's shop, and has been cast as the lead role of Jae-ryong in the film "Song Am-dong," which will be released in June 2023.

INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo And Choi Jin Hyuk Are United By A Common Goal In New Drama “Numbers”

INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo And Choi Jin Hyuk Are United By A Common Goal In New Drama “Numbers”

MBC has unveiled the main poster for its upcoming drama “Numbers”!

“Numbers” is a suspenseful new revenge drama set against the backdrop of a major accounting firm. In what marks his first acting project since his return from the military, INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo (L) will star as Jang Ho Woo, the first accountant without a college degree to join the prestigious Taeil Accounting Firm.

Choi Jin Hyuk will play the firm’s star accountant Han Seung Jo, who appears to be the polar opposite of Jang Ho Woo at first glance. A talented accountant from a wealthy family with an impeccable educational background, Han Seung Jo is the only son of Han Je Gyun (Choi Min Soo), the second highest-ranking executive at Taeil Accounting.

Although Jang Ho Woo and Han Seung Jo seem to have nothing in common, these two very different men wind up forging an unlikely alliance to battle corruption and fight for justice.

In the newly released poster for the upcoming drama, Han Seung Jo puts an arm around Jang Ho Woo’s shoulder as they wear matching determined expressions, revealing that they have become one team. Jang Ho Woo is also holding a burning newspaper that features a headline about Han Je Gyun and his “noblesse oblige,” suggesting that the seemingly philanthropic Han Je Gyun may be the target of Jang Ho Woo’s fiery revenge.

Meanwhile, the caption hints at why the two accountants have come together to join forces, reading, “Because even though we have different objectives, we share the same goal.”

With its premiere just around the corner on June 23, Numbers has unveiled captivating stills featuring the main characters Jang Ho Woo and Jin Yeon Ah (Yeonwoo).

In the K-drama, Jang Ho Woo is a rookie accountant at Taeil Accounting Firm, and Jin Yeon Ah is his senior colleague and mentor. The released stills offer a glimpse into the interesting relationship of the duo and their journey as they navigate the world of accountants, where numbers hold the ultimate power.

Ho Woo confidently joins Taeil Accounting Firm, known for its prestigious reputation, despite being a high school graduate. However, his decision to choose Taeil over other accounting firms stems from a deeply personal and compelling reason - a past filled with pain and the burning desire to achieve his goals. On the other hand, Jin Yeon Ah, coming from a privileged background, may seem inexperienced in the ways of the world, but her exceptional skills have lifted her to the position of senior associate. By a twist of fate, Jin Yeon Ah becomes Jang Ho Woo's dedicated mentor and gives him her unwavering support.

In the first still, the two characters are seen in a café where Jin Yeon Ah makes an order while, Jang Ho Woo stands behind her with a bunch of documents in hand.

Jin Yeon Ah exudes the air of a composed and confident senior, whereas, Jang Ho Woo's bright attentive eyes and serious expression reflect his deep focus and eagerness to learn from his mentor.

In the next still, in Jin Yeon Ah's warm smile and gaze directed at Jang Ho Woo, we can see the charm of a caring senior, who will stand by her toddler-accountant mentee till he can start running in the complex world of accountants.

Numbers is releasing on June 23 on Viki.

“Numbers” Starring Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Yeonwoo, And More Unveils Relationship Chart

“Numbers” Starring Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Yeonwoo, And More Unveils Relationship Chart

Upcoming MBC drama “Numbers” has shared a relationship chart!

“Numbers,” which marks INFINITE’s Kim Myung Soo’s first acting project following his return from the military, is a new drama set against the backdrop of a major accounting firm. In addition to Kim Myung Soo, the drama’s cast includes Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, and more.

Kim Myung Soo will star as Jang Ho Woo, the first accountant without a college degree to join the prestigious Taeil Accounting Firm. The drama will follow Jang Ho Woo’s fight for justice and revenge as he tackles all sorts of obstacles at the elite firm.

Choi Jin Hyuk will play the role of veteran accountant Han Seung Jo, a man with a wealthy family, exceptional educational background, and good personality, who is also the only son of the vice president of Taeil Accounting Firm. Choi Min Soo will star as Han Je Gyun, the vice president of Taeil Accounting and Han Seung Jo’s father.

Ahead of its premiere, “Numbers” unveiled a character relationship chart showing the relationships between the characters that make up Taeil Accounting Firm, which serves as the drama’s main backdrop, as well as the partner companies that serve as their primary clients, allowing viewers to grasp how numerous characters are connected at a glance. Based on extensive research, the chart not only enhances the realism by accurately portraying the organizational structure of an accounting firm that could exist in real life but also makes viewers anticipate the performance of the actors including Kim Myung Soo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Min Soo, Yeonwoo, Sungyeol, Kim Young Jae, Bae Hae Sun, and Jung Hae Kyun, who are completely immersed in their characters.

First, attention is focused on the relationship between rookie accountant Jang Ho Woo, veteran accountant Han Seung Jo, and vice president Han Je Gyun, which serves as the centerpiece of the story. In particular, viewers are curious to see how rookie accountant Jang Ho Woo and Senior Manager Han Seung Jo, who will work together for the same goal, will cooperate in the face of injustice. Additionally, tension is increased by the father-son relationship between Han Seung Jo and Han Je Gyun as well as by the relationship between Jang Ho Woo and his mentor senior associate Jin Yeon Ah (Yeonwoo), who expresses interest in him.

Particularly intriguing to viewers is the Taeil Accounting Firm’s organizational chart, which is divided into the Deal department and the Audit department. The Deal department, consisting of vice president Han Je Gyun, Shim Hyung Woo (Sungyeol), Jang Ho Woo, Jin Yeon Ah, Han Seung Jo, and Eun Seok Min (Seo Eun Woo), is in charge of corporate M&A, financial due diligence, corporate valuation, and corporate restructuring while the Audit department lead by Ahn Seung Yeon (Bae Hae Sun) and Kang Hyun (Kim Young Jae) oversees accounting transparency and the accuracy of financial statements. Additionally, to make it feel more realistic, the chart categorizes the staff of Taeil Accounting Firm into associates who have only recently joined the company, senior associates, who have been with the company for about three to five years, managers, senior managers, directors, and then the vice president at the top.

In addition to Taeil Accounting Firm and its affiliated companies Jisan Bank and Sanga Group, the faces of other characters on the chart including the president of Haevit Construction Jang In Ho (Nam Myung Ryul), Ong Cheon Ja (Sung Byung Sook), and Jang Ho Woo’s best friends Song Yeo Jin (Do Yeon Jin) and Gong Hee Sam (Kim Sun Bin) also add to viewers’ anticipation.
