In the drama 'One Big Scandal', which attracted a lot of attention even before the airing due to Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho's appearances, traces of Jung Kyung-ho's lover of 11 years, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, were discovered and became a hot topic.

Jung Kyung-ho's dog made a surprise appearance in a scene in tvN's 'One Other Scandal', which aired on the 21st. The scene depicts a story in which Choi Chi-yeol (Jung Kyung-ho), a 'one-time math instructor', is shocked to learn that the daughter of Nam Haeng-seon (Jeon Do-yeon), the owner of a side dish store, is a student in his class.

After learning that Haengseon Nam is the mother of a student, Choi Chi-yeol, who was worried that bad words would come out among the students, accessed the student community 'Sky Mom' and found an article titled 'Choi Chi-yeol is like a dog'.

Choi Chi-yeol, who clicked on the post in surprise, placed a picture of himself and a picture of a dog side by side and said, 'We look alike, right? Seeing the comment, “So cute,” press the recommend button with a hearty smile. In fact, 'Kill Four' was hidden in this scene that passed by briefly. The dog in the picture that Jung Kyung-ho clicked on was 'Hoyoung', the dog that Jung Kyung-ho and Sooyoung raise. In particular, it is known that the name Hoyoung was created by Jeong Kyungho and Sooyoung after the letters at the end of their names.

Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho are about to get a whole lot closer in tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance”!

“Crash Course in Romance” is a new drama about the unlikely love story between Nam Haeng Sun (Jeon Do Yeon), a former national athlete who now runs her own side dish shop, and Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho), a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education sphere.

Spoilers

Previously on “Crash Course in Romance,” Haeng Sun and Chi Yeol came to an agreement to serve one another’s needs: in exchange for Haeng Sun preparing meals for Chi Yeol every day, Chi Yeol would secretly give her daughter private lessons.

However, this secret ultimately led to a sticky situation at the end of the latest episode, when Young Joo (Lee Bong Ryun) and Dong Hee (Shin Jae Ha) caught Chi Yeol leaving Haeng Sun’s house in the morning. With Haeng Sun chasing after him to return the belt he’d accidentally left behind, it wound up looking as though they’d had a one-night stand.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the dynamic between the two characters takes an unexpected turn when Haeng Sun seeks out Chi Yeol at his home. Haeng Sun looks nervous as she cautiously rings his doorbell—and to her evident surprise, she soon finds herself getting up close and personal with the math instructor when he leans in and rests his head on her shoulder.

Unsure of how to react, Haeng Sun remains frozen in place with her hands clasped tightly together.

Jung Kyung Ho Gets Competitive With Jeon Do Yeon On The Soccer Field In “Crash Course In Romance”

Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon will enjoy another fun family outing on tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance”!

“Crash Course in Romance” is a drama about the unlikely love story between Nam Haeng Sun (Jeon Do Yeon), a former national athlete who now runs her own side dish shop, and Choi Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho), a star instructor in Korea’s elite private education sphere.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “Crash Course in Romance,” Chi Yeol went fishing for some alone time—only to run into Haeng Sun, who was there on a camping trip with her family. For the first time, the two characters opened up to one another in a heart-to-heart conversation, and Chi Yeol got closer to both Haeng Sun and her family.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, Chi Yeol spends even more quality time with not only Haeng Sun, but also Hae Yi (Noh Yoon Seo), Jae Woo (Oh Eui Sik), Young Joo (Lee Bong Ryun), and Dong Hee (Shin Jae Ha). After splitting up into teams, the squad faces off in a fun game of jokgu (foot volleyball) at an indoor soccer field.

While former national athlete Haeng Sun is visibly relaxed, looking right at home on the field as she has a great time, Chi Yeol has noticeably lost the cool, confident aura he exudes in front of his blackboard. Unleashing his fierce competitive streak, Chi Yeol looks desperate to win as he struggles to keep up with Haeng Sun.

Describing the atmosphere on set during filming, the producers of “Crash Course in Romance” recalled, “Although we were filming for the drama, this scene felt like all [the actors] were actually enjoying a real-life team-bonding event, and the laughter never ceased throughout the shoot. Even during rehearsal, when we were blocking the scene, the actors stepped up and took the initiative to come up with ideas, and we were able to really feel the strength of their teamwork and how they were one in spirit.”

They went on to tease, “In today’s episode, Chi Yeol reaches an emotional turning point as he becomes even closer to Haeng Sun and her family. Please keep an eye on the change in Chi Yeol’s emotions as they start to fluctuate.”

Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, And Bae Yoon Kyung Share An Unexpected Encounter In “Crash Course In Romance”

dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

Feb 5, 2023

tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” dropped new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Choi Chi Yeol’s heart began to beat wildly around Nam Haeng Sun, while Nam Haeng Sun started to bring up Choi Chi Yeol often in conversation, displaying their growing attraction to one another. Mistakenly believing that Nam Haeng Sun was already married and that there was something wrong with his autonomic nervous system, Choi Chi Yeol immediately took on the advice of meeting someone new to distract himself from his budding feelings for Nam Haeng Sun.

Although Choi Chi Yeol had a decent time with pianist Hye Yeon (Bae Yoon Kyung) on their blind date, Choi Chi Yeol couldn’t help but remain more attracted to Nam Haeng Sun, raising anticipation for the future of their romance.

The newly released stills depict the unexpected encounter between Nam Haeng Sun, Choi Chi Yeol, and Hye Yeon. Nam Haeng Sun and her best friend Kim Young Joo (Lee Bong Ryun) come to visit Choi Chi Yeol at the academy while Choi Chi Yeol looks quite proud and satisfied for some reason, creating a heart-fluttering atmosphere.

However, the next stills show Nam Haeng Sun’s stiff expression as well as the appearance of Choi Chi Yeol’s blind date Hye Yeon, who had expressed great interest in Choi Chi Yeol during their first meeting. Choi Chi Yeol, however, only agreed to the blind date in order to distract himself from his feelings for Nam Haeng Sun, so Hye Yeon’s appearance makes viewers curious about what influence she will have on Choi Chi Yeol.

The production team shared, “Hye Yeon’s appearance will add new tension to the romance between Haeng Sun and Chi Yeol. Please watch to see what kind of waves Hye Yeon will bring to the couple’s romance.” The production team also expressed their gratitude to actress Bae Yoon Kyung for her special appearance in the drama.

Crash Course in Romance: Episodes 7-8

by mistyisles

http://www.dramabeans.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/CCR0708-00036.jpg

Our superstar math teacher encounters an unexpected problem — namely, “irrational” feelings he can’t easily explain away (though not for lack of trying!). But he might not be the only one trying to solve this particular problem by ignoring it and hoping it’ll just go away.

EPISODES 7-8 WEECAP

Su-ah and her mother are about to catch Chi-yeol arriving for a tutoring session, but Haeng-sun spots them and warns Chi-yeol to make it look like he’s just a customer. He’s a bit heavy-handed with his loud Oh no, looks like the shop is closed, but for now at least it’s convincing enough.

Meanwhile, the tutoring is already starting to pay off. Hae-yi scores at the top of her class on the next mock exam, above even Su-ah. When Haeng-sun calls Chi-yeol with the good news, he feigns nonchalance, but celebrates as soon as she hangs up. Aww.

They throw a party to celebrate, and since there are five of them (counting Chi-yeol and Young-joo), Chi-yeol calls a very confused Dong-hee to join them and even out the teams for a game of foot volleyball. It’s even in numbers only, though — the boys are absolutely terrible at it.

Watching Haeng-sun in her athletic element does things to Chi-yeol. His heart pounds, and he can’t stop staring at her, and it only gets worse when he sprains his wrist and she runs over to take a look and get him an ice pack.

Naturally, this sends Chi-yeol into a bit of a mental crisis. He’s a sensible man, and (he believes) she’s married! Plus, she’s his student’s mother. What’s wrong with his nervous system?? His therapist figures he’s probably just lonely — if he expands his social circle to include more women, he might feel less strongly attached to this particular woman.

So Chi-yeol takes a colleague up on her offer to set him up with her pianist friend. Despite an awkward start, the date goes well enough that they set a second one, and Chi-yeol breathes a sigh of relief that he can enjoy other women’s company.

Except, the second he’s back in Haeng-sun’s presence, the racing heartbeat and romantic music flare up again. He can barely speak to her without stammering, and when she offers to take him to an acupuncturist for his wrist, he finds himself unable to say no.

He assures himself it’s not a date, then proceeds to obsess over what to wear. He underdresses for class that day, then panics and overcorrects with a nice outfit and way too much cologne. The acupuncturist decides to treat a lot more than just the wrist, and the way he and Haeng-sun push Chi-yeol to accept despite Chi-yeol’s obvious discomfort makes me pretty uncomfortable, too, I have to say. But in the end Chi-yeol holds Haeng-sun’s hand to get through it, and though they bicker in the car afterwards, she’s touched that he finally remembers her full name.

Jeon Do Yeon remarked, “The beginning [of a new project] is always difficult and feels long, but now that we’re about to air the final episode, it feels like it was too short and went by in the blink of an eye, which leaves me with great sadness. Nam Haeng Sun in ‘Crash Course in Romance’ was a character that I really wanted to play, and it was also my first cheerful story in a long time, after much waiting. When I first received the script, I doubted whether I’d be able to pull this off, and I didn’t feel confident. But as we filmed, before I knew it, I had transformed into Nam Haeng Sun. Because of that, I honestly find myself wanting to linger and stay here longer, but we’re already facing the end.”

“There haven’t been that many productions that the whole family could gather and watch while laughing and crying together, but “Crash Course in Romance” was a drama that I, too, was able to watch together with my family members, so it’s very meaningful to me,” continued the actress. “Thank you so much for giving us so much love and interest.”

Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho fondly recalled, “Every moment that I spent as Chi Yeol was a happy one, and I was also happy to be able to work together with a director, writer, and [Jeon] Do Yeon, all of whom I really like. During Chi Yeol’s journey of growth after meeting Haeng Sun, I was able to grow together with him. There were also aspects [of Chi Yeol’s character] that somehow felt similar to my own personality, which I think made me feel even more affection for him.”

The actor went on, “The entire cast and crew, including the director and writer, all worked so hard, and I was happy and grateful to be working together with them. Although this is Chi Yeol’s final goodbye, I hope that when viewers remember Chi Yeol in the future, only happy emotions will remain for a long, long time. Thank you for having given so much love to ‘Crash Course in Romance,’ Chi Yeol, and the Yeol-Sun couple up until now.”

Jung Kyung Ho Dishes On Chemistry With Jeon Do Yeon, Steamy Kiss Scene In “Crash Course In Romance,” And More

Jung Kyung Ho Dishes On Chemistry With Jeon Do Yeon, Steamy Kiss Scene In “Crash Course In Romance,” And More

Jung Kyung Ho has shared his thoughts about acting with Jeon Do Yeon in “Crash Course in Romance”!

On March 5, the hit romantic comedy “Crash Course in Romance” went out on a high note, achieving its highest viewership ratings of its entire run for its final episode.

Jung Kyung Ho, who immersed perfectly into his character of Choi Chi Yeol, showcased great acting skills which made the drama’s charms stand out even more.

Jung Kyung Ho shared, “It wasn’t just a romance drama. The genre suddenly changes in the middle to fit the drama’s description of bittersweet [romance]. Since I had done intense romance in my previous project ‘Hospital Playlist,’ I didn’t have big pressure about doing [romance with Jeon Do Yeon]. I was happy to be with Jeon Do Yeon, and I filmed with great excitement.”

With regard to the concerns about dissonance with Jeon Do Yeon before the drama premiered, Jung Kyung Ho remarked, “I am saying this carefully, but there is no male actor who does not fit Jeon Do Yeon. No matter who acts with Jeon Do Yeon, it would be absurd to say that they are not a good match. I also had many glorious moments while acting together [with Jeon Do Yeon]. I pretended that I wasn’t [too excited] to be filming a romance drama with someone I’d been seeing [acting on television] since I was young, but I went to the director and secretly told him that I was happy and feeling successful. I wondered if this is what a ‘successful’ fan might feel.”

The kiss scene between Choi Chi Yeol and Nam Haeng Sun was one of the scenes that garnered a lot of attention. Regarding this, Jung Kyung Ho shared, “I was shy. It was a scene where [Choi Chi Yeol] kisses her not knowing whether it is a dream or real. I was worried because [the scene] was so intense. However, it’s good to film a kiss scene in just one shot like an action scene. I did my best while filming it.”

Born in 1983, Jung Kyung Ho debuted in 2004 through “Five Stars,” the first mobile interactive drama in Korea which allowed viewers to participate in casting and scriptwriting. The actor also appeared in dramas including the “Hospital Playlist” series, “When the Devil Calls Your Name,” and “Happy Once Again,” as well as films such as “Men of Plastic,” “DAEMUGA,” and “Amor.”

Our story is coming to an end, meaning it’s time for our characters to graduate into the next stages of their lives. Despite the dark turn things took last week, this finale takes a somewhat more hopeful approach, allowing most of our characters to grow, break free of old expectations, and step into a wide-open future.

EPISODES 15-16

Though ready to admit something’s shady about Dong-hee, Chi-yeol plays it safe, wanting to be certain before outright accusing him of murder. His worst suspicions are confirmed, however, when he investigates Dong-hee’s home and finds evidence that 1) Hae-yi was held here the night of the kidnapping, and 2) Dong-hee was Su-hyun’s younger brother — the latter of which he hadn’t yet realized. The final pieces fall together just in time for Chi-yeol to stop Dong-hee from a second attempt at killing both Hae-yi and Haeng-ja.

Chi-yeol chases Dong-hee to the roof and urges Dong-hee to turn himself in, if only for Su-hyun’s sake. Ignoring Chi-yeol’s pleas, Dong-hee says in defeat that he has nothing left to protect. Then he steps off the roof and plunges to his death. The complete, tragic story of his life is revealed to the public, with excessive competition over education named the true culprit behind it all. It’s very sudden, but from there the show is able to focus on resolving the other characters’ stories.

For starters, Hae-yi’s biological mother, HAENG-JA (Bae Hae-sun), has been making a general nuisance of herself, breezing in to take over Hae-yi’s care while demanding everyone else cater to her every whim. When Hae-yi finally wakes up, though, she makes it unmistakably clear that the mother she wants taking care of her is Haeng-sun.

Once Haeng-ja gets wind of Haeng-sun’s rich boyfriend, her eyes practically light up with dollar signs. She’s scheming to get as much as she can out of Chi-yeol, but Hae-yi overhears her plans and threatens to kill herself if Haeng-ja ever asks Haeng-sun or Chi-yeol for money again.

After wrestling with conflicted emotions, Hae-yi decides the best thing she can do to protect Haeng-sun from being taken advantage of is to draw clear line between the two sisters. So at her own welcome home party, Hae-yi announces that she’s decided to move back to Japan with her mother.

This is a disappointing shock to literally everyone (myself included), but as Haeng-sun stubbornly keeps taking care of Hae-yi and Hae-yi stubbornly keeps rejecting her, Haeng-ja’s eyes are opened to just how much these two love each other. So, Haeng-ja decides to bow out and return to Japan alone, leaving behind a genuinely sweet letter for Haeng-sun and taking with her only a few of Hae-yi’s baby photos.

Following Sun-jae’s confession about the leaked exam, Su-hee rallies the other moms to stage a protest demanding his immediate expulsion. But Sun-jae is ready to move on anyway and willfully drops out of school. With a little encouragement from Haeng-sun, he finally works up the courage to face Hae-yi again and apologize. He also works up the courage to (clumsily) confess his feelings, which Hae-yi puts off answering until after the college entrance exam.
