Annyeong yeorobun!! I've just been dashing in and out lately from the thread and doing more silent lurking because of work. Have been missing all the interaction with you, though.

@caramelovers07 Chingu, thank you for all the hard work with the filming timeline. It must have been time consuming. Sorry about just tossing that comment out about location challenges. I was in the middle of work when I posted, hence the 'just the facts' tone. I meant to thank and compliment you on your efforts. Bravo, chingu! Your work is much appreciated.

So I want to address a couple things while we're waiting to see if 1) Joongi drops more crumbs in HK and 2) if our Jieunie will make a surprise appearance in HK.

@starcandy0516 thanks so very much for sharing with us that the breakup has been corroborated and just hasn't been released. I've been in the minority since last September/October that believed our IU/Jieunie had already terminated her relationship, but understand that everyone was being good and mindful that without a formal announcement, we needed to keep our hopes/wishes constrained within our thread. 

I won't share my thoughts about Chang Kiha and the relationship he had with our Ji Eun, but will say this.Things happen for a reason...so for that, I'm actually thankful for him. I think he, SHR, and possibly other factors all coalesced to create an environment that allowed them to meet and get to know each other. They quickly went from strangers that were co-leads, to peers supporting each other, to friends who held each other in high regard, to seeing each other with new eyes.

I understand some of you are worried about our Jieunie and Joongi...worried that they, as a couple, won't be received well by their fans, and may gain more haters in the course of outing themselves as a couple. I worry for them too, but I think I'm more happy that two of my biases who have proven themselves to be beautiful both inside and out, have found each other. At the end of the day, I have tremendous faith in both of them, that they'll continue to give priority to their fans, but not at the sake of pursuing their own happiness. And that's how it should be.

IF IU does show up at Joongi's FM, it WON'T be like that fan meeting with KSH where she was met with a sea of silence. Joongi will definitely protect her by rousing the crowd. You all know he'll do that. She definitely will not be alone. He has supported and defended her since before the drama finished shooting. It's not going to change now. And even though we know that things do hurt our Jieunie, she still has more courage than many celebrities we know. She eats hate and turns the other cheek. With Joongi at her side, she will only shine more.

Perhaps they might not win everyone over right away, but they already have so very many on their side...and they'll continue to work together to secure more supporters. It will happen. I have no doubt.  The haters will still be there, but I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know that our JoonU will face them together as a happy and glorious couple.

In the past hour or so, I've come to appreciate IU's fortitude even more: after a brief spin through a couple of websites, I've encountered some of the netizen-driven hate that IU has faced and...oh, my goodness...no one should have to deal with that kind of vitriol. Just...wow. For a young person to have experienced this level of negativity and still found a way to be true to herself and her art is simply amazing. Much, much respect for IU.

@sublimelyheureuse Am extremely happy you're getting to know her and that there's so much more there than meets the eye. Isn't it amazing some of the things that have been said about her? Also, if you really delve deep and do research on each of her 'supposed' scandals, you'll see that much of it is pretty ridiculous. She's young, and just like each of us, has made mistakes...errors in judgement. None of them, however merited the hate and negativity she received. Even her Lolita/pedophile controversy. If you know her music and her character, you would know that the interpretation by that netizen was definitely not her intention. But she apologized and attempted to explain herself. I'm glad that she didn't go to the extent of apologizing for her music, since as an artist, she shouldn't have to apologize for interpretations that are different from her own. She has that right and I was so proud when she didn't compromise on that point.

Anyway, since becoming her fan, she's never disappointed me. I'm not surprised in the least that Joongi has only praise for her.

I just found out that our thread was recently visited by someone who prefers IU to remain in her publicly known relationship. We respect her decision so I hope she also respects our choice to stay here. She called us delulu, but we have always called ourselves delulu.LOL Since this is after all a shipper's thread for JoonU, I wonder what she expected to find.

Really? From what some of us know about her publicly known relationship, I find it terrible that someone would want IU to continue down that path when it's been clear as day that IU is much happier with Joon Gi. It's okay though. No hate. I'll just consider those shippers to be ignorant of the facts that can be easily found in SK. (Thank you again for those, @starcandy0516!)

Those lurkers are more than welcome to make themselves at home in the KihaU shippers thread. That thread never made it past the first page and has no followers. It could use some love.

I saw her twitt too.. i dont think she/he is an uaena who active in korean community sit/dc gall like our chingu @starcandy0516 and that person is so obvious think that MLSHR drama is bad.. sometimes i doubt if she/he is really an uaena? And ofc she/he is VoldyU hardcore shipper lol... ignore that account, bcs that account have small numbers of followers not like other well known international uaena.. lol

I saw her tweet too and she's such a big liar !! She said that Voldy was asked about JE during red carpet interview and he answered it vaguely?? I watched his red carpet interview and there's no sign of him or MC mentioning JE name.

Just a head up for everyone, Dont believe anything she tweeted. She is getting desperate cuz there is no evidence whatsoever that IU n Voldy r still tgt so now she is stooping as low as lying and making up stuffs. Usually she only exaggerating Voldy's status in the industry which is hilarious cuz everyone know iu is better and he is under her shadow. (Hence the tagging iu's name in all his articles) She doesnt know much korean n uses google translate. Feel sorry for people who believe her.
