The kiss in the rain was all about getting on her level and putting her at ease. Not wanting to rush her, but give her time to accept him--after all, it was probably her first kiss.

 

However, the scene where she was fixing his collar gave us a glimpse into the possibilities. From that scene, if she doesn't do a regular drama kiss, but an in character grown woman kiss, I can tell that it's going to be quite magical when it happens. Ji Hong looked so manly when he was about to "get it on" with Hye Jung.

I feel bad for YD but honestly I hated the way he treated SW. You agreed to the dinner, there was better ways to handle it. He knew she liked him, he should've avoided having dinner and cleared it with SW before humiliating her like that. That's no way to treat a lady. I know she is horrible, entitled but growing up in that environment, its a relief she isn't an Axe murderer. 

 

I didn't feel sorry for Seo Woo in that he told her again for the umpteenth time that he doesn't like her, but she refuses to accept that he doesn't want her and will not marry her. However, I didn't like the way he treated her in that he accepted the dinner with her family. How do you just say excuse me, and leave the table with no intentions of returning? How disrespectful is that?....even though I don't like Seo Woo's plotting family, rude is just rude.

I don't like him as a love interest for Hye Jung, but I have a feeling he's going to try and insert himself into the budding relationship between her and Ji Joon. Just as I feel that Seo Woo is going to start trying to interfere with Hye Jung's success out of jealousy.

May I know what made you think that they were flirting during surgery? Because I don't see them doing so while in the op.room.

On another note, does anyone know, after brain surgery, you know when a hole is drilled into the skull to reach the brain, do they do anything to cover that hole after surgery or just leave it as it is? Like the hole on archer's skull.

Can I just say...KRW and PSY have the perfect couple height for a kiss  I mean JH and HJ  I really notice it during the collar scene

 

 He can hold her face with both his hands, turn her face up a bit and goes for a kill with his lips  and i fully expect HJ to cooperate during the scene and send us all to the moon the stars and all the planets when that happens !!

No, he didn't really know what kind of feelings HJ had for him: he knew she liked him, but as a man... I don't think, she had realised it either. That's why he gets jealous or insecure, when he sees a man around HJ flirting with her.

@Nymeria289 @lclarakl Sure, YD appears as rude at the dinner with SW's family. But she only gets what she deserves in his (my) opinion.

Let us not forget how the invitation happened: When SW asked YD to eat with her family, he refused it and he gave her a good reason: the party at the Sooni Hawaii. She tried to find an excuse (he could join later) but he didn't accept it either. In the end, SW had to blackmail him by saying that she would call her father!! She implied that her father would force him to join them. So basically SW treated him liked a pushover. So he appeared at the dinner, but as soon as the grandfather and father spoke, YD realised what SW's family was after: an arranged marriage and the position of a director so that he could help Jin MJ. to cast out DS. So he was again treated like a pushover and YD refused it. He stayed polite and refused the offers twice:

"I don't like management and SW will do well." He really pointed out that he didn't want to play any part in SW's life. After each answer, they kept bothering him.

That's why he left the place and in my opinion, he had every right to be mad at SW and her family because she knew what was going to happen: forcing him to marry her. All their insinuations were so clear and SW wanted to use the opportunity to get what she wanted: YD.

How would you feel, if you were put on the spot like that? I wouldn't like it either. Jin's family only got what she deserved: to witness that they can not use people like pushovers. 

The father complains that his daughter is seen as a pushover, while all this time, he and SW had used him as a pushover.

Notice that SW is indeed a pushover, but only in her own family, while she is treating people around her like pushovers (subordinates). She learnt it from her father so she is reproducing it. The father uses her as his tool for power and money that's why SW is unhappy. My god, she needs to get through puberty! She hasn't come through that phase in my opinion, where an adolescent learns to distance himself from his parents. She has never experienced it. This would also explain why she is still so jealous of HJ and feels threatened by her. To me, her mind is still stuck in that phase of pre-adolescence therefore her mentality hasn't changed at all.

Finally, SW is revealing more and more about HJ to YD. She mentioned HJ's curse to him and I hope, this will make him wonder what she actually meant with it. To me, the more she is upset, the more YD will discover who HJ is because that's the question YD has been asking all the time.

Yeah, if I were younger and unmarried, I would put "finding someone I can be childish with" as one of the criteria for a soulmate. How nice would it be to have someone to "grow old with" and at the same time "stay young with".... Get what I mean?

Agree to that and I love  @bebebisous33 's explanation about the significant of each picture.  Never before had I known that we have to watch every single second of everything that is being shown in order to really enjoy this drama.

EP 7, 8 HJ and Father Scenes

What a great performance by Park Shin Hye as HJ -- 

-- When she hide and looked at her father as he waited outside the operations suite, as he and her half sister YN waited on word of the step mothers operation -- I could  see in her and feel the pain of the young HJ as she hide outside her home (beginning EP 7) and listened to her fathers anger and hatred towards her mother who begged him not to leave her.

HJ, The writer, and PD have all combined in brining the story and the feelings to viewers of the extreme emotional pain and scaring a little girl felt as her father first abandoned her mother--then that of a young, then teenage girl felt, as the father then emotionally abandoned her to the abuse of her stepmother, finally to her physical abandonment on a dark road outside her grandmothers house.

-- When HJ and her father interact, I totally feel/share HJs anger and frustration towards him- she longs for him and hates him and just can not reconcile those feelings within herself - leaving her with a lifelong bleeding wound that can not heal.
---- In the scene (EP 8) of HJ meeting her father in the little park outside the hospital - her very justifiable anger and frustration is clearly evident -- after hearing his false self justification she can only either scream at him for his lies/actions or because of her inner turmoil combined with culture dictates of respect for parents/elders cry in anger/frustration as the wound in her heart once again bleeds pain - HJ in tears can only walk away, as she is not yet strong enough to fully resolve this lifelong pain.
--- JH will give her, through his love, the strength she needs

HJ will in the end forgive her father - her forgiveness is the only thing that will finally set her free from this emotional pain that keeps her from having the life she deserves - her forgiveness is NOT for the father, but for herself to be free.

I am looking forward to and confident that the writer will give us a creditable scenario for this to take place.
