Happy 400th page! To celebrate that I'm going to share with you guys another blooper. Now it's been a while since my latest post because of the explosion that was happening here in the world of Shang Yin (Happy Camp and sunglasses thingy). But now that everything's calmed down, I think it's time to post again! Yeah!

Sooo.... the topic for today's blooper is "time".

While filming series or movies one has to really pay attention to the clock. Time can give everything away if you don't pay attention to it, so one has to be really careful. Even in like murder cases for example, you have to always pay attention to time. Yes, time is that powerful. Wait this is getting out of topic... let's get back to the program.

Where was I? Ah yes, blooper. In the Addicted series, they usually stopped the clock from moving to avoid the time give away. It's quite funny when you see that the clock had not even moved its minutes hand after a character finished his scene. I'm not going to label that as a blooper though since there's too much of it and it's also quite trivial. But this... this scene that I've found. It's undeniably a blooper so let's go...

 

Do you guys still remember this scene where Lulu suddenly came to GH's rented house? Boy, was she mad because GH never contacted her.

 

She called GH's phone to prove that it wasn't broken. Watch her phone closely. The clock on her phone was at 15:04.

 

GH and Lulu then had a fight (what's new?) after Lulu proved that GH's phone was not broken. Lulu stormed out and BLY persuaded GH to chase after her.

 

GH finally went after Lulu after being persuaded by BLY. Oh hey now... look at the clock! It was at 16:35!

 

 

Well well well... apparently BLY persuaded GH for one and a half hours before GH finally listened to him and chased after Lulu.

And what did Lulu do then? Hmmm... good question. Crying for one and a half hours outside in the cold waiting for GH to chase after her before finally made her way? Who knows! That's the... "elliptic excuse" of it to quote @sixte

 

That's it for today's blooper, fellow addicts. I hope this amused you as much as it amused me.

I thank you for making a witty remarks and creative posts. I've always wondered what goes through your mind for making that kind of posts. Your humor and long posts are always appreciated and I don't know how but you always manage to put grins to our faces just from reading your posts. Thank you of course to take notice to lots of users here which usernames I can't remember anymore. You always pay attention to what we posted and I know it's not an easy work. Thanks a lot and have I mentioned that I love you? I LOVE YOU!!

 

Now a fun fact (didn't expect that, didn't you? ) :

There was another clock in that room on the very same scene. The time that was being shown was 13:30. So we have 3 different clocks that showed 3 different times on this scene. One showed 15:04, the other one showed 16:35 and another showed 13:30. What's the correct one?

I am not YuZhou shipper, but I see your passion. And I dont know if some1 posted it here or not but I came across this and I want to post it here. Honeslty though, I think Johnny is in for a huge heartbreak.  Zhouzhou, I noticed, never showed any feelings more than friendship towards Johnny. I just hope Johnny has someone to protect him. He seems extremely vulnerable and that is really bad for your psyche.

This part is going to be a game section on the show. So you could notice that every start guest focuses on the main square. And there is no camera focus on the other side where JY/ZZ stands. 
And.... JY does not care about the game results, and just walks slowly to ZZ's side.
The blue team and white team are competitors, in fact... however, there is someone who doesn't think so.

I'm so bad in analyzing body languages, but as from what I've been told and read, when a person licks his/her lips while looking at the opposite sex/the one he/she has feelings for, it means:

1. the individual is 'moisturizing' the lips to prepare for a kiss
2. the individual is flirting with the other person, while hinting to progress to the next step
3. the individual is reminded of the kisses he/she had with the other person

...okay this is bad, probably I should leave to our analysis gurus for this

BUT BUT how come you know that JY is in for huge heartbreak? I don't think so. I think the feeling is mutual. Whether it's friendship or more than that, there are mutual feeling around them. It's natural for JY to feel jealous? Because he care. I see that maybe he's saw that ZZ having fun with someone else infront of him make him a little bit upset but that is all. But a huge heartbreak?? No. LOL We know that Jingyu feeling is writing all over his face. When he feel jealous, mad, or annoy it will come across his face. That is all. Don't judge a simple gif and assume that ZZ not feeling the same things. We don't know and will never know (they know i know we know hahahaha) that their feeling is mutual. That all. You have to see other video as well when ZZ is smiling and look at JY too. Thanks.

Me too! If they lick their lips before kissing, it somehow drags me further into the feels and emotions they're trying to convey. But honestly, who wants to kiss dry and chapped lips anyway

I want here to answer first about the spoon, which, in my opinion, is not a mystery except may be for someone (like Yin) who is not supposed to be familiar with supposedly western-sophisticated-like eating manners. As I have already pointed it out, the tea-spoon is here to help extracting (along with the fork), some pulp from the lemon slices. It is good, indeed to refresh one's mouth after eating spaghettis, or just to accompany the taste of it.

- Second, about the clock on the wall, I don not think the "elliptic excuse" is necessary. Remember GH is never late. So he may well have his wallclock (which is not connected), to be in advance, so as to never be late when it is to reach his beloved one. No filming ellipse here, just psychological explanation.

What do you think ?

- Third, I had no reaction from those who have access to the novel, about our boys playing Go, and Laoyin beeing the best at it.

The Body Language of Lips

Object of the research: to determine the nature of lips-licking done in this video:

The basic theory:

There are several reasons why someone licks his/her lips. Let us start from the most casual one:

1/ Parched/dry lips. Yes, this happens to most of us. That is why we invent lip balm and its families of lip moisturisers.This kind of lick usually done only on the parched area of the lips (very particular and localised).

2/ Nervousness. When we are on extreme/uncomfortable situation, we might lick our lips to release some tension and reassure ourself. This kind of lick usually quick and when nobody could see, or at least, we think nobody could see us licking our lips because it signify a moment of weakness in our psyche.

3/ Sexual. As @kmmyzz has put it well, there are several sexual motives on licking lips:

1. the individual is 'moisturizing' the lips to prepare for a kiss
2. the individual is flirting with the other person, while hinting to progress to the next step
3. the individual is reminded of the kisses he/she had with the other person

To further enquire on this case, we need to take a look on the broader body language exhibited by both JY and ZZ. Clik the spoiler for second-by-second observation. Please do that in a sound proof room because you might squeal and scream, or at least giggle.

00:03-00:04 ZZ licked his lips. ZZ was teasing JY! He was totally flirting here.

00:05-00:09 ZZ turned his head slightly the other way, no longer facing JY directly. ZZ was either shy or this was him teasing JY again; as if playing hard to get. I believe, ZZ was being a tease.

00:05-00:06 JY looked stunned. JY: Did I just see you flirting? Here of all places!? Really!?

00:07 JY smiled. His smile was a combination of happiness and did not belief with what he just saw. Maybe he was surprised that ZZ was flirting with him in public?

00:09 While still looking slightly the other way, ZZ suddenly smiled. I believed he were watching JY using the corners of his eyes. If he put his attention 100% forward, he might gave signal to JY that he refused him. But no. He was curious with what JY would do. Did JY take the bait?

00:12 JY, still smiling, walked toward ZZ. JY: If ZZ is flirting, who am I to reject him?

00:13 ZZ turned his head slightly again, toward JY, while still smiling. Their gaze met once more. Yes! JY took the bait!

00:14 JY turned his head down while walking toward ZZ, but he was still smiling.

00:16-00:17 JY turned his head sideways, toward the audience. He then tried to control his smile.

00:18-00:19 JY looked downward, tried to hide his smile while moving forward.

00:14-00:19 JY tried hard to hide his smile and excitement from us, the audience. This part is comparable to the 3-seconds smile he exhibited during ELLEMEN photo shot.

00:20-00:21 JY licked his lips while looking downward. I think, he was bit of nervous. Excited but nervous because this is on public.

00:22-00:25 JY then turned his head up again, but still not looking at ZZ. He started smiling again. Finally, passion won. JY could not help himself from looking at ZZ.

00:26-00:27 JY's gaze met ZZ's again. JY's smile bloomed fully. JY: What the heck with the audience!

00:13-00:27 ZZ stood there, looking at JY and smiling all the time. ZZ, you are a tease! ZZ was not evaluating JY. He was sure that JY would come to him. ZZ had JY twined on his fingers.

00:23-00:25 The Korean singer beside ZZ shifted his body away from ZZ. He then focused his attention to the front. He knew.

00:28-00:30 ZZ shifted his head and bit of his upper body forward, welcoming JY. ZZ: Hi, finally you are here. What took you so long?

00:28-00:30 JY moved his body, blocking us from seeing his face. And also, blocking us from seeing ZZ fully. JY was being protective of their privacy. It would be more natural to JY if he moved and stood between the Korean singer and ZZ. But that would expose his face -and ZZ's- to us, the audience.

00:31-00:32 ZZ shifted his body to the (his) right, giving JY space to stand. ZZ: stand here beside me.

00:31-00:33 JY claimed his place beside ZZ. JY: I am here with you.

00:34 JY and ZZ stood side by side, looking forward as if nothing had happened.

Sigh. What a lovey dovey couple!

Edit:

1. When I see the scene at first time, it was the other version on @estreline IG. The angle was from front and clearly shows how the Korean singer shifted his body away from ZZ.

2. I was thinking that both of them were being shy because both of them turned their head away, breaking the gaze. ZZ first, then JY. But closer inspection, I'd say, JY was more embarrassed by this flirting, while ZZ was very confident.

3. Whoever did the editing knew body language well. He/she slowed it down so we could see the second-by-second transformation, he/she add fitting BGM (Winter we fall in love? Hell yeah! Winter 2015! etc) Kudos to you, whoever you are!

4. Get a room already, JY-ZZ! Or, wait, maybe you already did!? LOL.
