@Franz Grant Concerts and events in Beijing have to be approved by the Beijing Culture Committee of the district that it is taking place in.  On May 21st, from Li Hao's post (ZZ's manager), we know that ZZ has been rehearsing all of his songs.  All songs were put on a voting platform for fans to vote on, to determine the order of playlist for the autograph concert.  After vigorous voting by CP and non CP fans, two songs were suddenly pulled from the voting platform a day or two afterwards with an official statement from FM that they cannot be perform in Beijing, and that there will be future opportunities at other times to perform it.  Given that the songs that were pulled were those were from the banned series, and that the beginning of June being a sensitive time in China (due to the Tiananmen square massacre on June 4th), the most likely reason why they would pull songs from an already planned itinerary is likely due to the fact that it cannot be perform otherwise it would have an adverse affect on ZZ and his team (a warning from the district is likely the culprit).  

I'm analyzing the events that took place and trying to connect the dots, feel free to dispute what I said by presenting your own evidences.  I'm not sure what your problem is with JY, but you definitely have issues with him and is projecting your own insecurities toward their relationship.  There may be other reasons as to why JY left for Shanghai, but by looking at the timing and situation, it is clear that one of them was to remove himself from having any connections with ZZ's planned autograph concert in order to not cause any problems with either the fans or the government.

@Franz Grant Hi, I see you've given us your honest opinion about the CP, the thread and the fans, so I want to give you mine.

First of all, for full disclosure I'd like you to know that I am a CP fan without bias (take that as you will). So naturally I enjoy every single thing that would suggest my proverbial "ship" is floating, and yet I do share your opinion that JY's trip to Shanghai had nothing to do with ZZ. But who knows, maybe we're both wrong and it had everything to do with him. The thing is though, as you already mentioned - we cannot know for sure unless one of the involved parties gives an official explanation, which as we all know, is not going to happen...

So, what do we do in this state of unsureness? Do we wait for official news to come by every once in a while and eventually lose interest in everything that made us "addicted"? Of course not! Instead we speculate, we analyze, we theorize, we do everything in our power to keep ourselves entertained and keep this thread and our love for the boys alive. A thread mind you, that's built on 90% theory-filled content, which has for the most part been proven wrong, but even though we incessantly let our imagination loose, I do believe everyone here has the common sense to take these theories with a grain of salt.

Lastly, while it is true that ANY AND ALL opinions are welcome on this thread, we DO NOT take kindly to bashing other people (be it the cast members, the author or other members of the forum).

I can see that some fellow members were offended by your posts and in return you may have been offended by theirs, so I would like to remind all members of this thread - old and new - that we've taken a policy of being polite and considerate instead of attacking people to get a point across. I hope we can all stick to it as close as possible.

Normally I won't even care about people arguing and all, I'm only here to spread some love I have for the boys with fellow Addicts. 

I can understand you are frustrated whatnot, but everyone has their biases (or not), which I don't care as long as you don't go forcing your opinion on others. And about them not posting under spoilers while asking others to do so, that's only because they are probably too excited - but we are all human, you can simply tell them nicely if you aren't happy with it. With all ZZ-related goodies (concert, interviews, photoshoot etc) and not much news of JY for the past week, who can blame them for being too excited?

This is a happy forum and I'd like to keep it as positive as possible  don't treat this as me calling you out, though. You just have to accept, in this forum (even life) you will disagree with some people, as people have their own opinion - but it doesn't give you a free pass to be rude to them. By saying things nicely, you'd more likely to get things your way.

Argument and all won't help as much - as my favourite poet put it -- 'Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.' Everything can be settled nicely without any party being rude to another tbh so why bother being so?

I have been watch addicted a long ago, but until now i still unclear why this series and actors must be banned..sometimes i think maybe it contain inappropriate scenes, but with deep thinking i suddenly realise why china goverment not also ban porn video which their country produce and  that are clearly give bad influence into their society n other country..

For me this is first time i heard n see actor have been banned with the goverment.. Why their must afraid about appearance n shadow of jy n zz.. Their have a right to choose their life path.. LBGT is not a main issue now.. Everyone can accept it.. 

Sometimes i think that has someone in ertertainment that relate with china gov who really afraid n irritated about jy n zz popularity that increase entire world..for me it sound funny that china gov have many time for looking both of them n know all their activities.. It must be someone behind this issue.. Untill now some of china state still produce boy loves movie..n not been an issue like jy n zz.

For jy n zz dont be afraid with barrier..eventhough some people of your country didnt accept yours, jy n zz  must believe we as international fan always support n behind both of you

About the update, sorry mate, have been busy these few days. Whatever spare time I have, I spent to make mix videos of ZZ's concert (haven't finished those as well *sigh*) Hopefully I will have more time this week end
