Just 2 more eps until we get to know the ending of DotS, well I did not want to wait & created this comic strip for my version of the ending for Beauty & Big Boss .

I had the idea back a few weeks ago but since this is my first comic strip, it was a lot tougher to create it than I thought. Extra tougher was finding photos of the Song triplets & edited them.

The inspirations were from episode 6 (Captain Yoo translated what Dr. Kang said to the kids were too funny) & the thoughts of a possible sad ending so I just came up with this comic strip, what is so interesting is that I got to know the Song triplets, I never knew of them before & did not think they have the same last name Song with SHK & SJK too.

I do think DotS's ending will be satisfying for Beauty & Big Boss, DotS has been a pleasure to watch & for it to be so perfect from beginning to the end, it has to have a well reasonable happy ending. I do hope to match with Beauty & Big Boss, we will need to have Babies/Boys to go with them both .

Yeaaa! Fist bump to you chingu @razledgoose. It is nearly 02:00 a.m in my place. Ha ha. 

Just to say that I don't want to make any prediction of what will happen in the end. It will ruin my excitement. I prefer to let myself in a surprise mood as I don't like people tell me about the movie that I haven't watch yet.

I actually agree with others that MY has proven time after time that she doesn't always need pampering. KMY is one awesome heroine that many other heroines should eminate her more. She's not shy in voicing her opinions and doesn't cave in to pressure nor does she let anyone push her around. She will do things when she's good and ready on her own terms and not anyone else's. It's obvious that she is the mature one in the relationship. She knows when to let things pass and when not too and I believe that is one of the many reasons why SJ loves and fight EXTREMLY HARD for her. In this case, even though she doesn't like it, but she understand the issue is bigger than her and that comrade is very important to SJ.

If it wasn't for the fact that MY doesn't like to follow orders and wake up early, she would be a kickass soldier. She's highly capable and proved it many times under the most stressful situation anyone can possibly find themselves in and she's extremely quick to adapt. She is every bit as strong as SJ. I am extremely happy that for once we have an equal OTP in strength. 98% of the time, it has always shown that the male lead is much stronger and the female lead is always weepy and inferior and lose their mind over love. I'm extremely grateful that MY is the exception. I believe that she can live without SJ, but she CHOSE him with her heart and mind. I think that's important.

unlike the other drama, i can say DOTS is really honest and "flat" in storyline. the story is only about a "simple life" , the "progress" between YSJ and KMY , a soldier an a doctor, and people around them.

from episode 1-12 glad the story was based in URUK, u can input earthquake, human tracking, disease etc in the storyline. That's why in ep 13-14 when they back to seoul, it feel a little bit "lacking" , glad only 2 more episode left.

The power in this drama i think is from their "character" interaction, dialog,  and also KES make the story interesting and fun to watch , and also thx to SHK and SJK, they can make their character in this drama alive, if it's not them i don't think DOTS can make a huge hit

 

Actually I beg to differ, the 1st episode was also in South Korea but it was very refreshing & interesting on how they stop a robbery & the OTP 1st meeting. I think in Urk there were too many elements & events that kept us in high so when they came back to SK, it became mundane. But somehow I feel that from ep 1-12 was written by one writer & 13 onwards was another writer, anyone feels the same?

Oh! And the sleeping scene, do anyone feels that KMY is sleeping too near to the edge. If they are trying to portrayed that they are so comfy sleeping & dead tired then maybe but the closeness not there! 

 

U all watch Oh My Venus, the hugging together sleeping scene was daebak!!!

The guy didn't shoot Captain Yoo rather he was shot from behind by a group in a van. He is also the guy that Yoo Shi Jin fought in the DMZ line during the first episode. He is the one that ended up in the hospital with Captain Yoo.

 

thank you, I know the guy didn't shoot Captain Yoo, just got confused because I watch ep 14 live and then watch again with Chinese sub, don't know is it because of North Korea and China politics relationship, the profile of the guy changed a bit in Chinese  broadcasting version, anyway clear now. ^^

finally i watched ep 14 with sub and now i can share my opinion on the episode too  first i am relieved that SJ is well, still very active eventhough he was shot multiple times. SUPERMAN INDEED. 

i understand that some people are not happy for the last two episode. i am not thrilled about it either unlike the last 13 episodes, however, i am happy with it. i think the episode is necessary to bridge SJ and MY. they need deeper understanding of each other. after all they have only been together for a month and met 9 months back for maybe a week or two. 

MY HAS GROWN SO MUCH AND I AM VERY SATISFIED! she accept him throughly. eventhough she is upset, she realise that this guy she is with is someone very special. he help a lot of people *thus the title of this drama* and he is very selfless *not saying that this is a good trait tho*. i think we will see SJ character growth in the last two episode, at least i hope he will. he needs to understand MY a bit more. 

SJ grew up in a military family which no news means good news. he puts MY first in his life but he hasnt realise that he is first in MY life too. like when MY got kidnapped he go all the way to make her feels safe and okay but when it come to his own life he didnt think about MY concern. that MY wants him alive and stay by her side more than anything else. 

i think he realise it yesterday before they watch the movie. he realise that he meant a lot for her. i hope in the next 2 episode we will see him grow for her sake. after all this is a romance drama so i wish for a HAPPY ENDING. lets get to the end of our journey guys. its been great

No...I can't let him go, so easily recovered and now he will be dead in the end. I have a feeling that when MY and SJ camp, SJ is asked to go to the 'department store' again and shot to death.

Episode 14 is brilliant!!   Yoo SiJin got reunited with the NK Lieutenant.  In spite of them constantly dangerously meeting, they seem to have built trust in each other.

Who would have thought, with the simple statement of NK soldier "I don't trust mine so I came to see a friend", YSJ would immediately sense something behind it.  Thus, sending his girlfriend KMY to do the surgery.  He knew she would find something - and sure enough, she did.  KMY smart enough to pass it on in confidence to SDY.

Who would have thought again, YSJ trusting his instinct and the NK soldier, that the evidence would be found in the left over cookie?  This is why both are in the special forces. 

Others were laughing about YSJ getting conscious after getting shot.  YSJ was shot in the arm and the blood splattered all over his shirt - that's why KMY said 'put a cast on him'.

This drama is  great - it sends a lot of message to everyone - and each tragedy has a purpose.  It has flaws, of course, but if you nitpick on the flaws, you won't know the true meaning of the story and wouldn't be able to enjoy it. 

The only drama this writer had written that I've watched is Secret Garden which had a satisfying conclusion.  I didn't watch the entire Heirs - it just won't click on me.  Did I read somewhere she also wrote Lovers In Paris?  Wow!! That drama has the worst ending. 

We still have 2 episodes left to watch but I am already saying I would be willing to spend a lot of time watching and rewatching this drama - over and over again.  Good story, good cast and good portrayal of the characters by everyone - down to the supporting casts.

It's because of the China-NK political relationship, Chinese version totally cut and edited this storyline. First, ep1, they didn't broadcast the first fight between Alpha Team and NK soldiers at all. Ep13, they cut all the scenes with Sr.Lt.Ahn too: the convo when he and Si Jin guarding the door and talking, the restaurant when he taking Alpha Team to eat noddles. Then this ep, they dubbed all the convo between Sr.Lt.Ahn and that bad boss in English, made them some English-speaking people, not NK. They gave him a new name (Tian) and said that he's a terrorist. Lol. The noddle restaurant was said to be in Jakarta, not Pyong Yang either. Well, kinda laughable.

I watch many versions trying to get everything, because Eng sub got many things lost in translation. So I hope that clear things up.

Chingus please don't fret and chide the drama. We only have 1 week left with these precious characters. I do not know how I will deal with leaving this show. After waiting for it for over a year and now coming down to the last 2 episodes it is all so bittersweet. 

Cherish these last two episodes and our sweet couples  

The end of the drama is near. I trust KES. I am sure the drama will end wonderfully.

I made the mistake of watching China version and it completely spoilt it  with bad changes that cheapen the whole thing. Both 13 & 14, I would advise to grab the Kbs version. Don't make the same mistake I did .

regarding the gunshot wound multiple times ---  given enough adrenaline - (which YSJ had)  one can get up and still walk and talk despite any trauma to the body--  

Believe me -- I've seen it multiple times - I work in Trauma hospital .......  You can get a surge of energy -- just like the NK soldier as well -----
