Behind Lee Dong Geon  there are dark clouds, while on the poster it's written: "Because you are a wreck, you ask me to be your  daughter's father?"Behind Lee Yoo Ri there is a sunny/ clear sky, and on the poster it's written: "I don't need romance, I just need a dad for my daughter."

The teasers for this show are really funny, but tvN also has a habit of reeling me in with awesome teasers that don’t always match the show. I think in Superdaddy Yeol’s case, the tone should hold up, as we watch Lee Dong-gun (Mi-rae’s Choice) go from a slacker bachelor to responsible superdaddy material in order to win back the love of his life. Because yunno, who needs flowers to prove your love when a contract marriage says it all?

Lee Dong-gun stars as a washed-up baseball player who believes that his entire life went downhill the moment that his ex-girlfriend Lee Yuri (Jang Bori Is Here) left him. He ended up swearing off women for good, and apparently also stopped washing or dressing himself in anything other than tracksuits. The best thing about MHIYD was seeing LDG in a Darth Vader suit. That show was one incoherent, directionless mess, not to mention the cop-out ending. I was hoping it hadn't scarred LDG for life from acting on the small screen.
This one intrigues me. To see the two leads together in various domestic scenarios with that height difference is very promising.
Also I'm very interested in seeing LYR outside of a makjang. Her one-note villainy in JBR seemed to be very popular with everyone except me apparently but I was always convinced she was capable of something better.
The fact that it's on cable gives me reason to hope.

I'm so glad LDG gets another chance after the drama that shall not be named. I can't wait to watch it. The last time I saw LDG in a baseball uniform was in his drama Smile Again but he can still make it look good years later.
