The actress recently interviewed with fashion magazine InStyle, talking about her role as Yoo Rachel in The Heirs.

“On the outside, she’s a mean character, but she’s actually a character that full of conflict and loneliness after affection turned into hatred,” explained Kim Ji Won. “Because Rachel is a character who wears a lot of fancy clothes despite being a student, I’m actually enjoying filming a lot.”

But being a complicated character requires a lot of studying and analyzing as Kim Ji Won revealed that she always has her scripts in her hand. When she’s not reading her lines, she loves devoting her time to The Moon and 6Pence. 

Born in 1992, Kim Ji Won is the youngest member of the drama, which keeps her alert on her toes all the time. “But it’s very exciting and exhilarating to be in the middle of flower boys.”

he added that her goal is to become an actress like Natalie Portman who gets completely invested into every role she takes on.

Knowing what we know now and supposing we have a time jump of 5 years: What did they become? FANFIC material, just for fun ^^: 
YD has his own dojo despite having been disinherited by his dad (someone unknown hid an enveloppe full of money in his helmet). He became a self defense teacher - personal coach specialized in people who've been traumatized by aggressions (his first client was one of his former victims in HS.) Everyone says awwwww. Because of his first love and because it didn't work out, he wanted to understand women better. He took a second job at night: Bodyguard & Host for women exclusively. His motto: "Jerks: It takes one to know one". Since coincidences happen all the time in K dramas, one day he fell on the "bingo" client: His mom. She was in disguise, trying to clumsily recontact her son. YD did play the game but couldn't miss an opportunity to tease her: "If I didn't have a mom already, you could replace her very well."
Rachel became a commitment phobic & fell into depression for a while. She decided to become a Kor/Eng translator & studied to win her certification: Her dream was to work for embassies and consulates. She slowly found a new balance in life & started to enjoy her free time as a young woman. Her mom, Esther Lee (who married a secretly RICH Secretary Yoon but still doesn't know THAT) decided to believe in marriages of love. She sent her daughter to blind dates but strangely it always ended up into epic fails. A certain chaperon sabotaged all the meetings (according to the candidates, the psycho/stalker who followed the girl everywhere had a strange hobby: Crushing mens's hands at the first rendez vous.) Esther finally understood what was going on (jealousy! fate!) & decided to help her future son-in-law: She told him everything he needed to know in order for him and Rachel to be happy. 
One beautiful summer day, YD and Rachel moved in together in a little appartment. JUST as friends. No pressure, no attachment, no false hopes, no contract: They were like roommates. Slowly, Rachel started to confide to YD: Putting up with anger and hate and frustration, that was something he was good at. They fell in love without even realizing it... and had a (hot and explosive) epiphany one night. When their love affair started to be serious, Rachel was still scared of the emotional investment and she decided to treat each new date as a one night stand. YD didn't argue and bit his tongue (or hers, it's not clear at the moment)... 4 years later, they are still together and have 2 kids, 1 girl of their own and 1 boy that they adopted: It was an amnesiac abandonned kid at the airport, trying to steal the wallet of his future mom so he could by some food. Instead, the brat ended up "nicely" grabbed by the collar by his future dad. Rachel & YD took the kid at home, gave him a bath and a meal... And he never left. Life is funny that way.
Officially YD & Rachel are not married and still living happily. They couldn't care less about scandals or gossips (he calls her sister & she calls him oppa but they have kids: Neighbours are confused...) In reality, YD is pestering Rachel so she would at least register their union, in case something would happen to him. Everyone knows he is not a romantic kind of guy, right?PS: (There is a wedding gown with a ring hidden in a suitcase somewhere but shhhhh... Timing is the key.)

lol it's awesome @mystisith  :x if anything i hope there'll be a time jump in the end, i want to see them free from the uniforms, the school stuff and see them as young adults. YD & RC should be parted for a while and meet up again, this time they won't miss their chance anymore  ;;)
