Popped in to be a nag again.  Even though the show has ended and there are not as many postings as before, the thread is again loading very slooooooowly for people on portable devices, so please please please remember to put large amounts of pictures (anything over 3 .jpegs in a single post) inside spoiler tags to help out our fellow readers.  Kamsahamnida!

And for those who haven't heard, it is rumoured that Malaysian television channel 8TV will start airing 'Empress Ki' from 26 June 2014 weeknightly from 5:00-6:00 PM local time.  Such a strange time for a sageuk to be aired with all its blood and guts, and after reviewing 8TV's website, I do not see "EK" on its broadcast schedule nor any promotions posted.  Anyone else have hard facts that they can post in here?

Hi all EK fans. Have a good morning & a blessed weekend...
I would like to say thank you to the moderator for kindly editing my previous posts here in this thread. I would also like to express my sincere apology for causing problem in this thread towards other fellow readers. 
Honestly I really didn't know my postings here would cause this thread to loading very slowly (as since joining soompi at April 17, I also post in a few other threads/forums in soompi and there's another members/posters who post pictures more than 4 (& above) without spoiler tags in those other forums & not getting edited by mod). 
Anyway, I admit ignorance is not an excuse.......I just want to say that I have truely NO intention to cause inconvenience and problems in this thread towards other readers. 
I will do my best to post/share my insights/views here in the future in a way that is permissible and problem free to all. Again, SORRY FOR EVERYTHING & PEACE TO ALL    :x :x :x

@emkay77 thanks dear for your sincere apology , it is ok as long as you would cooperate with us in taking that in the consideration for your next posts . And wish you will be around here and participate more in sharing your love to this drama .. what you have said about other forums is true , but as dear CherKell have mentioned , when using our portable devices we do suffer the loading because of those multiple pics .. and in comparison to other threads,  in addition to the moderators , there are some soompiers ( like our chiongo CherKell here ) whom they are thankfully taking care of these threads ..

Jin Yi-han “ I want to act romance with Ha Ji-won, really attractive actress”

Actor Jin Yi-han praised co-worker Ha Ji-won’s acting skills for her personalities. On July 1st Jin Yi-han conducted an interview with Newsen in a café located at Sinsadong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul talked about Ha Ji-won who had worked together on the broadcasted MBC Mon-Tuesday drama which ended on April 29th. 

In the drama, Jin Yi-han became the role of Tal-tal, a schemer who helped Ki Seung-nyang, a woman born Goryeo. He flaunted the existence of an intellectual charisma.

Jin Yi-han “It was really good when working together with Ha Ji-won”. Both of them didn’t act and prepare for only their individual shoot but helped each other while in the shoot. (Ha) Ji-won such an actress who can deal with slapped scene in the shooting, she managed and carried out expression and mind character. Had a talk as much and advised big help” he explained.

Then, Jin Yi-han “ Among actresses, she is the one who mostly can manage win-win situation to each other. With Ha Ji-won, we put effort for pull out the emotion to each other and I think because of her, come out many good scenes.

Jin Yi-han “ Ha Ji-won and I were the same age, without hesitation to each other in the shooting , she could give an effect to face good synergy. Looking at co-worker Ha Ji-won she’s really good and charming actress. She didn’t only think about her acting but also until other actors, and devoted attention carefully. If there’s next romance drama, I want to play romance with Ha Ji-won as the leading actress who appear on it. I think there’s a greedy towards romance acting. In previous work, can’t show romance acting but now I think can easily do it, it feels good. The sequeal hasn’t been set yet” he said.

Question about the most wanted challenging character, “ Rather than want to try specific character, the character is important but I want to try acting in an overall work’s quality.Through this thought I can enter into ‘A New Leaf’ He answered.

Jin Yi-han on July 26th in the end of MBC Wed-Thursday drama ‘A New Leaf’ he revealead the enthusiastic about the role of attorney Jeon Ji-won. 

Jin Yi-han “I’m really thankful to the viewers who have loved Tal-tal in Empress Ki and Jeon Ji-won in A New Leaf. I personally have burdensome to those love and felt sorry if I couldn’t show more good appearance. In the future if there’s such lack appearance, I want to give more effort to show better appearance. I will show a mature looks as an actor” he disclosed.

I think Empress Ki is aring in Malaysia (It is dubbed in Mandarin with subtitle in Malaysian). I wish they will air this drama in the U.S. with English dubbling. LOL

@daegorr for your info in Malaysia it very common our TV station or broadcaster not promote any dramas airing here. I don't know how to explain, it's like our TV station only fulfill audience (entertainment) need rather than 'attract' audience . Our TV stations here already have it own target audience..example 8TV target for Chinese audience while other 2 big TV stations.. TV3 target for Malay audience and NTV7 target for English speaker audience. By the way unlike KBS,SBS and MBC these three TV stations not compete with each other because they under one company..so least competition, no ratings lead to no promotion.

The Kdramastars poll has some winners. And before we announce them, we just want to say that everyone on the list is a winner because they did a great job and delivered some truly enjoyable k-drama moments.

Here are the winners you chose:

The political action thriller "Three Days," starring Park Yoochun and Park Ha Sun won Best Drama with 41.34 percent of the vote. "You Who Came From The Stars" held second place with 16.53 percent, and "Inspiring Generation" came in third with 14.15 percent. "You're All Surrounded" at 10.96 percent and "Emergency Couple" at 8.5 percent rounded out the top five. After that it was "Doctor Stranger," "The Prime Minister and I," "Empress Ki," "God's Gift" and "Cunning Single Lady."

JYJ ruled in the Best Actor category, with Park Yoochun winning best actor with 38.26 of the vote. Kim Jaejoong followed with 13.55 percent for his role in "Triangle." Lee Seung Gi was close behind him, earning 13.13 percent for his role as a rookie detective in "You're All Surrounded." Kim Hyun Joong, who starred in "Inspiring Generation" and Yoo Ah in who played a piano prodigy in "Secret Love Affair, rounded out the top five with respectively 8.68 and 7.99 percent.

Kim Soo Hyun was close behind with 7.86 percent, followed by Joo Jin Mo and Ji Chang Woo for their roles in "Empress Ki." Next were Choi Jin Hyuk, who starred in "Emergency Couple" and Lee Jong Suk, who appears in "Doctor Stranger."

No actress could beat Song Ji Hyo, who starred in "Emergency Couple" and is a regular on the variety show "Running Man." She had 33.19 percent of the vote. Gu Hye Sun followed with 22.24 percent for her role in "Angel Eyes," and Jun Ji Hyun had 15.61 percent for her starring role in the alien-human romance "You Who Came From The Stars."

Yoona, who appeared in the "Prime Minister and I," and Ha Ji Won, who played the title role in "Empress Ki," rounded out the top five. Jin Se Yeon followed with 3.02 percent of the vote for her roles in "Inspiring Generation" and "Doctor Stranger." Next was Baek Jin Hee, who also had two roles this year. She played an evil empress in "Empress Ki" and a casino dealer in "Triangle." The next in line were Lee Bo Young, who appeared in "God's Gift - 14 Days," Lee Min Jung for her role in "Cunning Single Lady" and Yoo In Na for her role in "You Who Came From The Stars."

Published on 1st July 2014 - The news about the new highest rating scene, which is the banquet hall party scene where Wang Yoo and Seung-nyang looking longingly at each other. 
The rating of this episode also skyrocketed from less than 2 jumped to 2.94! The average rating for previous week episodes was from 1.6~1.99.
