Episode 1 Synopsis Preview.
An enormous amount of gold bullions and bundles of banknotes were found during a landslide recovery operation at a construction site in Yangpyeong. Working on the case is Prosecutor Lee Cha Don who gets a mysterious call from a suspicious man who doesn’t even want to give his name…
Note: Incarnation of Money will premiere on Saturday,
February 2, 2013 at 09:50 PM (Korea Standard Time).

Episode 2 Synopsis Preview.:
An anxious Gang Seok begins to cry when he finally receives a call informing him that his father was dead. Gang Seok is aware that his father had a mistress and thinks that woman has something to do with his father’s death…

Incarnation of Money: SBS Places a Strong Trust In Kang Ji Hwan, "There Is No One For The Role Other Than Kang Ji Hwan"

SBS has voiced their support for the troubled star Kang Ji-hwan, despite the actor being in a legal struggle with his previous management.

In a recent press conference regarding Kang Ji-hwan’s latest drama role in the drama ‘Incarnation of Money’, a representative of the SBS accompanied the actor and voiced the support for the actor.

The representative commented, “we have consulted law specialists about this matter, and we have cast him with the decision that there is no legal problem at Kang Ji-hwan’s appearance. We firmly believe that there is no one for the role other than Kang Ji-hwan. We also see that there is no legal problem with the actor’s appearance, so we are not at risk with Kang Ji-hwan’s appearance”.

The actor himself denied the accusations of his former management, and voiced his position that he will recover his image through his production and acting.

Kang Ji-hwan commented, “the only thing I can do is one. The actor is a person who makes acting his job, so clearing my name with my acting seems to be the right thing to do”.

He continued, “the legal aspects of the incident will be cleared later” and “the thing that I can do and wish to do is to repay the writer, the director, the staff, and the SBS with acting and focusing on the drama. I will do my best in the filming”.

Kang Ji-hwan finished, “I hope my presence does not harm the drama. The drama may be criticized for its shortcomings, but I hope my personal things do not earn the drama criticisms for its own.”

Will KJH appears from the very 1st episodes or later?....(not that I don't appreciate the kid actor though).

I surely hope any dispute between KJH and his management won't affect the production like he may need to leave in the middle of the drama. I am glad that SBS shows support to him, at least they are well aware of anything that might happen and well prepared for it.

Hi, @Soleram. According to the Ep. 1 synopsis preview, KJH as Lee Cha Don who's
working on a case as a prosecutor receives a mysterious phone call. That means he
would already be appearing in the first episode. Maybe they would be doing a series
of flashbacks to show his past.

This scenario of working with KJH while he has an ongoing dispute is nothing new
to SBS. They gave him the role for "Coffee House" in 2010 even when he had a
conflict with his then management agency, Jambo Entertainment. It was even
harder then because the CEMA (Corea Entertainment Management Association)
sided with Jambo and tried to ban him. Jambo entertainment turned out to be guilty
and the court's verdict was for Jambo to compensate 500 million won to KJH.

Perhaps, one of the reasons why SBS was willing to wait for him was because they
already knew his capabilities as an actor after working with him in "Coffee House" and
"Lie to Me",

i wish i can watch IOM with English subtitles... the pilot episode was really good, very interesting.. good job for all IOM actors and actresses...

Really liking the pilot episode...so complicated but enjoyable! Everything is so fast and I agree that the tone is more like Giant than Salaryman. Never thought that the secretary will be an accomplice with Bi-ryung and Se-gwang O.O Looking forward to episode 2 and yeay for the adult cast's appearance! Though I'm a little sad to see Park Ji-bin in such a short moment...

A good start and here's wishing for a great journey ahead with the series :)

@pechumori- hi am it's not confirmed but pretty sure ep 2 subs will be late. It's the whole Superbowl, everyone on vacation and Lunar New Year next weekend. Is it too early to ask if ep 3 and 4 are showing next weekend as the NY is on the 10th. With everyone celebrating it don't know who is free, the team bar 1 person are all busy.
I have no comments yet about ep 1 as I am only halfway through. However, ergh, was hoping it's more Salaryman than Giant.

yeah, finally finish watched eps. 1.

Even from the back, I knew it's Ji Hwan, hehehe.....It's been so long never heard his voice on drama. Glad, finally he can make it.

I like the story and looking forward for tonight episode. oh, I also love the background music.

Will post my thought after watch eps. 2 with sub.

So how was yesterday's episode? I missed it last night because I had other thing to do... I'm downloading it atm. I really hope this one turns out good, because I love KJH.. He's good and -of course- hot actor.. Hehe
