Im going to translate one of my favorite scenes to date so far and its the end of ep 10.

YK is making a fuss and trying to get into DJ's office.

DJ: just let her in, and you can leave now (addressing this to his friend Kim)

YK- what is wrong with you? you are not picking up the phone and telling people to lie for you saying that you are not here.

DJ: what are you to me? are you my wife?

YK- DJshi...

DJ- then why are you still acting like this

yk- are you still angry over those photos that i sent and informed your mother. If i didnt, you and your mother would have been fooled/conned by that woman.

dj- i think your life/road has been saved one too many times ( this is kind of hard to translate) More like, i have done one too many favors for you.

yk- just tell me what i can do. we were never like this before. even before we went to saipan, it was never like this before.

dj: because then, you werent as suffocating (him walking out)

summaries:

ep. 9:

hotae tries to apologize to seunghye for what happened in saipan and says he wasn't gonna do anything to her but he was just hired to take some photos of her. seunghye says she doesnt' want to see him again and leaves, and runs into incoming chayeon... seunghye is surprised to hear about chayeon getting kicked out and when hotae comes looking for chayeon, seunghye is surprised again that hotae and chayeon know each other.

dongju's brother donghyeon comes home and sees dongju wasted and takes him to his room telling dongju not to be this way it's not like he married chayeon out of love and didn't he just marry her to get rid of seunghye. dongju says his brother is indeed a smarty and tells donghyeon he hired chayeon for 3 years for million bucks but she couldnt' even wait and had to cheat. donghyeon realizes dongju's feelings for chayeon may be deeper than he realized.

chayeon visits duri at the hospital and chayeon tells him she's on paid leave and he can call her mom from now on. dr. choi and dongju's brother donghyeon check up on duri and donghyeon is suprised when duri calls chayeon mom and duri introduces her as his mom to them. meanwhile seunghye figures out yookyeong is the one who sent photos of chayeon and hotae to the shin's and gives her warning but yookyeong says seunghye's nothing but a pitiful divorcee now. dr. choi asks donghyeon about eunwoo and tells him to leave her alone but donghyeon says he is just concerned about eunwoo and now he knows why eunwoo dislikes her mother so much.

dongtae (the guy that lives with hotae and chayeon. is that his name? well it is now) pays chayeon some for his earning and finds a job for hotae at the club next to the one he works at. hotae begins working at the adult club escorting drunk guests around, while chayeon starts working in a restaurant kitchen washing dishes and serving food. even though the two labor night and day they barely make enough money for only a few days of work. hotae asks chayeon maybe she can ask dongju for some money for duri's sake, and when chayeon tells him she even kneeled before dongju for money, hotae yells at her for being so low but chayeon says she didn't tell him about duri because she didn't want him to think she's selling her son for money.

dongju gets drunk and ends up passed out at yookyeong's. next morning yookyeong says dongju's wrinkled suit says he's got no woman taking care of him and dongju asks how she knows and figures out yookyeong is the one who sent photos, but yookyeong says what she did was to spare him and his mom from more swindle, and that they are all victims of the concouple.

chayeon is desperate for money for duri's hospital and medication fees and starts working as a bar-maid at the adult club hotae works at. on her first job where she sings and pours wine for guests, one of the men really likes her and gives her money to touch her, then takes her to the motel offering her about 10 one-hundred-dollar bills. chayeon is tempted as she thinks about how that money can keep duri alive for a while but she declines telling the guest to visit next time, when hotae catches up to them and pushes the guy away telling the guy he is her husband. afterwards hotae slaps chayeon for stooping so low as to sell herself but chayeon slaps him back and says not to ruin her chance of making money anymore. when chayeon and dongju return to the club chayeon is called in to another guest room, where dongju and 2 of his associates are partying. dongju and chayeon are shocked to see each other...

ep. 10:

at the club when dongju hears chayeon say this is her first day dongju asks her to pour wine for him.

the associate who's sitting by chayeon pushes her to sit by dongju and chayeon puts away her shame and serves wine to dongju who is stern-faced. then the associates and 2 other bar maids start dancing while chayeon is singing and dongju sitting and drinking. the associate starts touching chayeon saying he might make her a star or get her a place if she pleases him, and dongju who's fed up with it drags chayeon outside and says she's a cheap broad. the associates come out after them and apologize to dongju and asks him to go back inside. chayeon deliberately softens up her speech and says dongju should go in and she'll escort him well and dongju can't stand her cheap act and slaps her, when hotae comes and realizes who dongju is. hotae and dongju get in a confrontation and hotae says it's enough that dongju kicked her out without paying and dongju asks hotae if he really likes selling his woman... chayeon says to stop and dongju walks away telling his associates who want to jail hotae that chayeon was his second wife and hotae is her pimp husband. afterwards hotae and chayeon are fired from the club... while dongju spends the night in his office tormented by his anger and confused emotions.

assistant kim sees that dongju slept in the office, and tells dongju he never acted this way since hyeonggyu's death, and tells him to forget about one that wasn't meant to be. dongju says he's not like this because of her (chayeon) but kim tells him a person is ruined because he cannot forget what needs to be forgotten. donghyeon realizes eunwoo's been taking nonstop poloraid shots of him and confronts her telling her he told her he can't give her the kind of feeling she wants. eunwoo says she didn't ask him if he loves or not and she likes photography but donghyeon looks upset and tells her stop making him worry.

the granny is hospitalized by mrs. shin who can't keep a steady hired nurse at their home for over a day due to the granny complaining. the granny begs donghyeon to go find chayeon for her. seunghye and her colleagues eat at the dinner chayeon works and afterwards seunghye buys chayeon a drink and offers to find her a better job, chayeon asks why and seunghye says she feels bad because chayeon became divorced from dongju because of her. chayeon says in that case no, and starts singing a sad song. seunghye compliments her singing and chayeon afterwards asks seunghye why she dumped her lover saying one shouldn't do that no matter what. seunghye says she's right but life sometimes pushes one that way. chayeon tells seunghye she knows seunghye isn't a bad person so what she did was even worse, and seunghye says she knows and asks chayeon if she's interested in working at her friend's skin spa but chayeon gets up and says she doesn't want to associate with people like them anymore. afterwards chayeon scolds herself for letting go such great opportunity and wonders why she feels so sorry to seunghye it's not like she stole her lover...

chayeon witnesses the granny crawling out of her hospital room and chayeon helps her change and get back in bed. the granny weeps and asks chayeon if she's coming back for good and apologizes for pulling her hair and being smelly and all. donghyeon comes in and tells chayeon to leave in case dongju comes soon. chayeon tries to leave but the granny is holding onto her when dongju and mom arrive. dongju drags her out and asks what she's scheming now if she's trying to get money through the granny. chayeon says her brain isn't good enough to pan such scheme and dongju says she's right or else she wouldn't have let go of a million-dollar opportunity. chayeon says she hates that she met him in life and says if it weren't for him she would be living fine in saipan right now...

donghyeon tells dongju chayeon probably didn't come to hospital for the granny and tells dongju she came to see hotae's child who's really sick and chayeon and hotae grew up together at the orphanage.

eunwoo tells donghyeon she's gonna discharge from the hospital so she wont bother him anymore since that's the least she can do and that she wants to do everything for him. hotae (he's growing on me really quite the loveable fool) punches dongju for causing so much ruin in chayeon's life, but dongju starts beating him up and the two are on the floor brawling when chayeon arrives yelling at them to stop. the two stop fighting and dongju tells chayeon her life is quite pitiful as it turns out and walks off. afterwards hotae tells chayeon dongju thinks duri is hotae's son.

chayeon decides to have duri discharged for now so they can save some money and she can stop running into the shin's. chayeon's landlord offers to watch duri during the day for free after finding out their situation. dongtae unofficially changes his name to daniel henney. lol (he's too pathetic for words).

yookyeong begs dongju to take her back and kneels down just as dongju gets in the elevator to leave, and dongju reopens the door before it closes and tells yookyeong to get in.

in the preview, it looks like yookyeong is about to marry dongju, and dongju tells his assistant that at least yookyeong wants him.

And in the preview for next week, who is that gangster looking guy? he looks so familiar, i just cant put my finger on the name?

do you think he might be potential new love interest for chayeon?

Dramaok, great and thorough job of the summaries.

And quite honestly, i think he might be a potential love interest for her. A gangster no less so i dont know what to say. Do you know the actor's name? i could have sworn i seen his face somewhere.

And this whole timeline of the divorce and what not is very confusing but im assuming that at least a couple of months passed by for the divorce to happen. Im not too familiar with divorce proceedings in korea.

And my prediction, i think DJ will get married to the actress and his 3rd marriage no less. But im hoping that he will stop the wedding on the day of and walk out. I feel so bad for him right now, he seems so resigned to a life without love and genuine companionship. In the previews, when he said that at least YK likes him/wants him, he is settling for nothing. Now that he got a taste of what love can be like, he's devastated. my poor baby, im weeping for him now!

What i dont get is why is SH being so nice to CY?

But does anyone think that they might bring the dead friend back to life? i was thinking of that when i saw the previews for next week of that guy that was staring at CY at the club or maybe it is a new potential love interest for CY.

i didnt read anything on the site but right now, im thinking anything is a possibility!

she is the type of person to want to earn money with her own hands. Sure she is also looking for an easy way out but i think she got burned by DJ and SH and in a sense she doesnt like to feel like a pawn in their little game. Perhaps it was pride and definitely poor decision making skills but i also think she is very impulsive too because of the situation at hand. She is just going by what the situation calls for but the best deciision that she did make was to take DR out of the hospital (despite the enormous risk) because she didnt want to run into the Shin family again and to save more money to bring DR back again.

I think she wants to get herself together now and do it her way and not be forced by anything or anyone.

there aren't any sweet scenes in these two episodes, but nonetheless, I was having a hard time choosing the caps and ended up with almost too many of them I couldn't eliminate

That look on his face LOL although that scene is supposed to represent how lonely DJ is and the fact that he really has no place to go and of all people, he goes to her (i thought that was profound and also credits to the fans writing such insightful stuff)

Oh the last cap, i paused that part too, he does look very lonely and not only that, he looks as though he has just given up and now going to be living with sneakiest snake YK.

I dont know what to make of CY becoming a singer but its an intersting turn of how she is going to be along with DR's illness. I think DR's illness is going to be a turning point in DJ's relationship with CY. I seiously hope he will be the one to bring those 2 together.

And DH and EW together, can we say AWWWWW! But boy oh boy, the mother of all ironies that he would fall for the younger sister of his elder brother's ex wife. Funny how life and really how small the world is.

Im curious to know how his mother is going to react to that.

And you know, i dont think CY will be coming back to the home at all or at least until they are reunited. Not with this new development if she is going to get a new love interest.

Im just hoping that DJ doesnt get married to YK but i think SH will come to the rescue on that one!

no i don't thinik they would bring back the dead guy. and i don't even think they will do flashbacks so we'll never get to see hyeong-gu. the locket picture is probably it, however i think it's possible that the guy in the preview could be hyeonggu's friend or something. just speculating. since he seems to be looking at her very intensely.

and were you thinking of actor Lee Hoon?

if so he's not the guy in the preview. lee hoon is a lot younger.

if not i have no idea he doesn't look familiar to me.

but i like the idea of a new love interest. anything to make dongju more jealous. lol.
