Between my civic and social obligations, I've fallen behind w/my kdrama watching ... I need to catch up w/this thread so I don't know if this is already discussed...why does DJ's brother act so cold towards CY (at beg of ep 8 I think)??? I just glanced quickly at sandy's preview translations...who is DT??? I guess I haven't gotten all the names down yet...am actually thinking I need to re-watch some eps...

This is so random but...does anyone else think that Park Sang-Min resembles the rock singer 'Yoon Do-Hyun'? Maybe it's just me.

dunnie: This is just my lucky guess...but I think DJ's brother acts coldy towards CY because of the sudden divorce and sudden remmariage. And the other reason DJ's brother may act coldy is probably because he still likes his sister-in-law, SH. I think it was mentioned in the previous episode that DJ's brother was pretty close with SH...or at least DJ's brother liked/got along his sister-in-law. The whole divorce bt. DJ and SH was very sudden...so it's probably hard for DJ's brother to accept CY so soon...not only just him, but the whole family. The grandmother actually is the only person that CY got a long with! DJ's brother is probably more angry towards DJ than CY.

It might have been explained more thoroughly as to why DJ's brother acts this way towards CY...but I can't grasp exactly why or what he said. It's probably mentioned a little bit in one of those hospital scenes...when he's with his colleagues.

I must have a short term memory. I can't remember things thoroughly as I use to. I guess I'm aging fast.

ill be frank and say that i skimmed ep 3 and 4 which explain alot of why DH feels the way he does about his SIL but you are right about how the marriage was sudden and that he did like SH alot to begin with. I think that guy (his dr friend) said it in passing that DH really liked SH but his gf shut him up and the subject was dropped. I cant blame the guy afterall but he doesnt really have a central role to the story but really to the side story of SH's sister.

Actually this drama is full of ironies, who would have thought!

at this rate it's gonna surpass 30% before it ends and that's really gonna turn some heads. ^^

Those are some amazing numbers for this drama and getting that much with Jumong in the running. Not many dramas have surpassed the 20% yet considering some of the names that were touted to bring in some big numbers. Im very impressed.

I went to the website and darn it i shouldnt have, I was flipping out when i saw some caps for the episode, especially the bar scene. Im going to be jumping up and down like a mad woman tonight! i know it.

And oh yes, my ajjushi is garnering quite the crowd or should i say competition LOL

he was proposing the contract marriage i believe and said that she will get one million dollars for it.

The camera angling was cheesy but you can tell that the whole point for the scene was that it was showing her calculating how much that can save DR and DJ looking all smug because he knows that money can buy anything and this is a prime example of it.

We are now at the turning point of this drama and quite so with the cliffhanger at the end of ep 10. Let me jsut say that i cant wait till i get my hands on the HQ versions. And next friday cant come fast enough.

I was right about my DJ- cruel, mean, prideful selfish bastard he can be but darnnnnnn so mushisuh! its killing me now.

I think the summaries given by the site was slightly off or it might happen next week. Especially in regards to SH.

I think this thread will be double the amount of pages by next friday and if not, maybe more. I am dying for some more and i think im giong to have to request that this drama be put on DVD.

Yup, you're right, he still thinks that.

i think he misinterpreted what his brother said because the brother knows that it is her son. DR introduced her as his mom in the beginning of ep 9 i think. He finally knows that they are friends though. Except for the brother didnt clarify whose son it was!

He acts cold to her for a variety of reasons, one is definitely misunderstanding but i think also pissed that she acted the way she did at the bar. I couldnt even watch that scene all the way after the infamous slap.

And dont get me on the previews, i was skimming back and forth regarding the whole SH part!

And in the preview for next week, who is that gangster looking guy? he looks so familiar, i just cant put my finger on the name?

bellaangel012: icic...phew~i try to follow this drama carefully...and so far, i'm doing well...lol. This is one of the more 'up-to-date' dramas i'm watching.

Yeah...I was happy that DJ finally found out that HT and CY are friends...but if only he knew that DR was CY's son and not the other way around...it would have made me even happier. If only DJ's brother didn't tell DR was HT's son...but who can blame him...the hospital thinks DR is HT's son too. And I guess I can understand why CY doesn't want to tell DJ that she has a son. She said something like how she feels as if she's using DR for money.

Argh! The bar scene was yes indeed...very hard to watch and pay attention to. I did not like seeing CY in that pink flashy dress and dealing with those men. And also the scene where she got slapped by DJ...and the stuff she said to DJ, which made DJ get his hand up in the air to slap her again...but HT came to the rescue and stopped the slap. phew~

He knows to a certain extent but he thinks that DR is HT's kid and not hers and thus supporting/selling herself for a kid that is not hers.

He is still very bitter/jealous about the whole thing and looks resigned to the situation at hand judging by the end of ep 10 and previews of next week's episode. I didnt think it was possible but next week looks even better.

SH knows the story of CY being kicked out of the house because of those pics. But thinks that HT is her lover still. She knows that YK sent those pics and now is thinking of a way to bringing her down! She also seems genuinely concerned over CY's situation but CY disregards it altogehter.

But HT and CY realized that both of them were used and to the extent they were used in the separation of DJ and SH.

So basically, the truth is out there or should i say everyone is aware of the truth but not the whole story. And i think its fair to say that we havent reached the anticlimax yet. I cant wait until DR really gets involved this whole mess

And Sandy, this drama is one of the few dramas that i have been following carefully the whole way out except for a few others but i lost interest towards the middle LOL. i have to say that im curious to know how they are going to develop CY's storyline of her becoming a singer later on if it is indeed going towards that direction. And if Dj will marry YK.

It seems as though DJ and CY are already divorced im not getting the timeline here but i tihnk its on paper too.
