@corey I understand your “allergy”. Im actually super private. Like, Im “anti social” on social. I have personal FB and IG accounts where I have friends and family but I rarely use them. At this point I use them as a “phone book” because as you know, I am an immigrant so this is a way to sort of still have a link to family back in my country. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t even have accounts. My FB and IG fangirling accounts are much more active and even those get abandoned from time to time  I have questioned this about myself like I wonder if there’s something wrong with me that I simply can’t bring myself to embrace these? But I guess it might be a personality + generational thing (Im Gen X and a closet introvert. Like, people don’t think I’m introverted but I know I am) I am perfectly ok with using message boards and discuss any trivial topic but I really really don’t care about what my friends ate yesterday or what their political views are or seeing co-workers acting like celebrities, giving advice about life etc etc etc Lol like fix your own life first dude!!! And also, I work in the entertainment industry, I’ve been a social media and community manager for different entertainment related brands but Im awful at my own personal social media management lol 
 

About JH posting in english, he used to, but in his latest posts he hasn’t even added a caption. I guess he knows his pretty face is enough for us

hehe if u find a caption it'll be in english usually then korean.  I use my fb to help me remember birthdays.  I don't quite get ig since you can do more with fb, but tried it out and to read certain news.

@corey I’m not excited (or unexcited), but yeah 200k is very little . Well, his account is private, not verified and has a strange not intuitive handle. Also, he is not a “trendy” actor. Imo, it’s not surprising that he doesn’t have as many followers as the ones you mention. And he doesn’t even make an effort to use social media for marketing. For that he would need to pay a specialist to help with his account, create content, do some paid posts for promotion etc. I mean there are celebrities that have followers effortlessly, simply because they are famous,  but there are others who leverage their platforms further and become influencers as a result (Will Smith is a good example) but anyway, social media requires some work too and it can become a powerful marketing tool, but I don’t see JH caring much about that though.

Oh yea my friend got into that there's certain algorithm and that changes from time to time.  It's like a whole ordeal.  Although, I think that's part of his charm to us is that he doesn't try so hard.

Yah actually i create social accounts to read news and follow things of my interest. I do not post much, I just see what others post haha. And my accounts are private so I only have a few followers anyway. Actually I think everyone can create one whether u are introverted or not. I find that FB provides a convenient platform to get all sorts of info and news from different sources that I am interested in. IG is more for following idols.

I'm with all you guys- FB I use mainly to get news, i rarely post or update. And birthdays  (just now I saw on FB I forgot my brother's birthday. Oops! ) . But I find twitter and IG are the fastest way to get updates on anything. So I use them to get updates on JH, mainly. Can't say I use them for anything else... But I still don't get IG or twitter...

 

So, now that all known promotions appearances from JH are done, what do we do now? I hope the filming of the Yacht show will start soon... I'm bored already...
