Light and Dark are the Contrasting Drama Posters of Lee Jong Seok and Han Hyo Joo in W: Two Worlds

The drama posters are out for mind-bendy romance drama W: Two Worlds, or more aptly the W meaning two universes that separate the lead characters played by Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Seok. I love the posters, spare and elegant with a softened light versus dark motif. It’s not particularly creative but the impact in this case sells the effort. It’s every more visually memorable that the three sets of main lead character posters differ in subtler ways yet keeps the visual schema consist. The one above has the characters in real life, another set turns them into illustrated figures consistent with one universe being the manhwa creation of Han Hyo Joo’s dad, and the last set echos those gangster movies with the glittering lights of Seoul and parallel universe Seoul in the background while Lee Jong Seok dons a black suit while Han Hyo Joo looks innocent in a lace and polka dot poodle dress.

The upcoming MBC drama ‘W – Two Worlds’ definitely is getting a ton of attention from K-drama lovers, who are excited for this awesome concept to transform from webtoon form into a full-fledged drama series! MBC has just released some more teaser photos showing the lead actors Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo as a couple, and they look like they are serious contenders for the best K-drama couple yet.

 

The star Lee Jong Suk will be appearing alongside Han Hyo Joo to create the best lookingcouple in drama history. Lee Jong Suk will be playing the role of Kang Chul, a character who comes from a very wealthy family from the webtoon ‘W’, and Han Hyo Joo will play the role of Oh Yeon Joo, a surgeon who lives in the real world. The upcoming South Korean drama ‘W’ has revealed official posters featuring stars Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo.  W is an upcoming South Korean television series to be aired on MBC in July 2016, starring Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo. The drama is Han's small screen comeback after 6 years.

 

 

Han Hyo Joo is a South Korean actress. She is best known for her leading roles in the television dramas Brilliant Legacy (2009) and Dong Yi (2010), as well as the film ColdEyes (2013) for which she won Best Actress at the 34th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

 

 

Lee Jong Suk is a South Korean actor and model. He debuted in 2005 as a runway model, and is well known to be the youngest male model ever of the Seoul Collection program for Seoul Fashion Week. In 2013, Lee ranked respectively in fifth place according to a survey entitled 'Actors Who Lit Up 2013' by Gallup Korea, one of the most recognizedawards in Korea for the entertainment industry.

'W' Costars Lee Jong Suk, Han Hyo Joo Confess They've Kissed Twice Already

 

Actor Lee Jong Suk is about to fall in love with beautiful actress Han Hyo Joo!

In the July 3, 2016, interview, Lee Jong Suk said he's been a fan of Han Hyo Joo, with whom he films the upcoming K-drama "W," according to Kookje. "Her way of talking is so attractive," Lee said on Han Hyo Joo.

She in return said he is so unrealistically gorgeous that he looks like a cartoon character. "When he stands in front of me while filming, he feels like a cartoon character. He doesn't really feel real," she said jokingly. 

The "W" costars also talked about the inevitable kiss scenes in the drama. When Lee said, "Our first scene to film was a kiss scene," Han said, "We've already kissed twice." 

Lee Jong Suk, who looked so in love with actress Park Shin Hye in the 2015 romantic K-drama "Pinocchio" that the two were rumored to date, will star in "W," which premieres July 20. 

In the upcoming MBC K-drama series "W," Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo will show ordinary thirtysomethings' love stories. "W" is directed by PD Jung Dae Yoon of "She Was Pretty" and written by the "Nine" scriptwriter. It seems that the director wanted to see their "chemistry" and professionality early on and apparently it was good. LJS and HHJ are both actors with vast experience.
