South Korean conglomerate CJ Entertainment is moving forward with a Thai remake of the 2003 Korean hit romance The Classic, directed by first-time helmer Thatchaphong Suphasri for a late 2019 release. Titled Classic Again, the new version stars actor Thitipoom Techaapaikhun, known for his work on Thai TV, and model and rising actress Ranchrawee Uakoolwarawat. The remake is solely produced by CJ Major Entertainment with no co-producing partners.

 

A tearjerking romance, The Classic was Korean director Kwak Jae-yong’s follow-up to his smash hit My Sassy Girl (2001). The film took in $6.9 million and turned Son Ye-jin, who played both mother and daughter in the melodrama, into one of the biggest stars across East Asia.

Thanks @Helena for these adorable and stunning pictures of SYJ. My heart is full, there's always a thread about her on twitter and hopefully, she can visit the Philippines soon. I don't think she has visited, promoted any films or dramas or even had fan meetings here. But I'll wait for that day, and definitely be there.

 

I tried to find the issue of VOGUE Korea article yesterday but to no avail, anyone who knows the direct link? CFs are okay for now, it's surprising that we really get new contents from her everyday after Baeksang, she really easily tops the headlines nowadays.

These brands who had signed her last year are so lucky, SYJ talent fee has probably gone so much higher now. I know that she's one of the most popular and highest paid Korean actresses/ endorsers ever since but I think her popularity index has doubled or even tripled now gaining age-diverse (teenagers to seniors) fans in Korea and all over the world. We love you Yejin!

It’s like everyday flowers keep on haunting MS team office  all of them to congratulate and to support our SYJ, one from Japan and Thailand. It makes me giddy to see SYJ CFs everyday this week, they have a free marketing arm through different platforms, courtesy of US. Some people are even requesting to bring the products to their country.
