@Magician  thanks for sharing this. KSH is taking over the baton of Lee Seung Gi for being appointed as public relations ambassador for the National Tax Service and selected as model taxpayer. TODAY, March 3rd, is the 57th Taxpayer’s Day. The National Tax Service held a commemorative ceremony by inviting about 1,000 people, including exemplary taxpayers, at COEX in Seoul under the slogan of “Sincere tax payment, strong finances”.   :heart2beat:

@Magician  thanks for sharing this. His hair when he received a Model Taxpayer Award from the K-government is different from this one. He looks adorable, too but, I wonder if this might be his hair style for his upcoming drama, huh?   :ohboy2:

*** In Korea, many people would ask you about your blood type as an icebreaker. There is a saying that certain blood types show different personality traits and it is rather interesting to learn more about it.  Those with blood type AB is said to have ability to control their emotions, resist sleepiness and also good at analysis. K-Drama Couples You’ll Think Are Dating IRL With Their *Superb* Off-Screen Chemistry

As Korean dramas have become increasingly popular in the Philippines, we’ve always wondered if the lead couples have incredible off-screen connections, too. Who still doesn’t watch Korean shows in this day and age, anyway? It's always thrilling to witness exciting situations play out on TV, all the more so when the leads eventually ~hold hands~ and kiss! The comfort in which our favorite characters fall in love makes us wonder if there have been moments when they genuinely ~*had feelings*~ for each other.

Ahead, we round up 5 K-drama pairings that made is feel *kilig* in their respective shows, who have amazing off-screen chemistry, too.

K-Drama Couples With Amazing Off-Screen Chemistry

1. Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji

It's Okay To Not Be Okay, one of the most popular K-Dramas of 2020 featuring Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji, sparked fans' interest with behind-the-scenes footage revealing how natural their chemistry flowed.

Moon Gang Tae (Soo Hyun), a caretaker at a psychiatric hospital, meets Ko Moon Young (Ye Ji), an antisocial children's book author. They go on an emotional rollercoaster before understanding each other's extraordinary traumas. Their on-screen chemistry is just *chef’s kiss* because of the romantic tension between them.

Soo Hyun and Ye Ji are constantly playful, whether it's behind the scenes or in between shots. Since the beginning, the stars have been quite comfortable with each other and have shown natural off-screen chemistry. When the director told them to take cute selfies together for a scene, they had so much fun that they didn’t even hear him say “cut!” LOL, so cute!

*** Yes, even with just a basic white shirt on, KSH never fails to make us swoon! Basic white tees have become a style staple in everyone's wardrobe. A basic white shirt is a true must-have for men. And let's admit it, a true test of dapperness is how our favorite oppa rocks a plain white T-shirt. How can a simple piece look so sexy, huh? He can pull off and standout even with just this piece on.  :Ohboy3:

*** I wonder if KSH is still the endorser of Dunkin Donut because I heard that there's another K-actor who's a next Dunkin’ PH brand endorser. Dunkin’ Donut PH dropped its teaser for their newest brand endorser across their social media platforms. Along with a one-letter hint ‘C’ and distinctive photo used, many fans are speculating that it is no other than idol turned actor— Astro’s Cha Eunwoo.   :kaching3:

@Magician  yes, I read that "Queen of Tears is to film between April and December. This is possible since this won’t be completely pre-produced drama. In Korea, usually a minimum of four episodes need to be filmed before the drama goes to air. Writers has become their habit to continually edit the script to optimize ratings. Preshooting/pre-produced route is still a rare practice in the production of TV dramas in Korea. The majority of K-dramas are produced in what has been called a “semi-live show” format, with episodes being scripted, shot and edited mere days before their airing -- practices undoubtedly alien to other countries where entire seasons are produced a few months to a year before their broadcast. So far, "live-shot" dramas have prevailed in South Korea until now where shooting and editing continue until even a few minutes before the episode is to be aired. And ye, the reasons behind the tight K-shooting schedule lie in the desired flexibility to respond to viewer feedback. Because the process of shooting and airing simultaneously allows writers to change storylines according to viewer preferences, it ultimately results in better ratings and profits for the show. It has been regarded as one of the strong points of K-dramas that have led the Korean wave throughout Asia for a decade, because script writers and producers can receive real-time feedback from viewers and change the plot to meet their demands and preferences. Actors are given scripts just a day before shooting and have to pull all-nighters to understand and build a character, while producers don't have enough time to edit the scenes properly. There are certain benefits that can come from the energy of real-time

production but it always ends up sacrificing quality sometimes.  :surprisedwut:

Filming a drama usually lasts for a maximum of 7-months. K-dramas usually don’t have pre-written, full scripts. They have a basic plot and dialogue worked out but it can all change last minute. In the ratings war producers tend to watch the audience’s reactions. If needed, the script will be modified, or even completely re-written. This places actors into a tough situation, as more often than not they would receive pages from a script a couple of hours or even minutes before shooting, while their hair or make-up is being done. South Korea is certainly not alone in the extremes that it will go to for ratings. The rating contributes to the sponsor. That's the entertainment industry for you.  But, there are dramas now, which are completely pre-produced.  I think that it’s right for things to change so, actors won’t stay up countless nights and work countless brutal schedules. They won’t stay up nights for weeks/months in a row. It’s really difficult to live for that long with two or three hours of sleep a night. It’s not just the actors, but also the production staff got some breathing room. :heart3:
