I bought my Gateway desktop back in winter of 2005. Specs: dual-core, 2gb ram, 320gb hd, okay graphic card, and also included 19" lcd monitor(lcd was new back then).. It was the best computer at best buy during that time. I bought the whole set for $1,500. Right now, you can find the exact same thing for about $300.. I should've waited 6 years later.. -_-" jk! lol But I really want the new 17" macbook pro.. Imagine how advance computers will be in another 6 years??

My computer is now almost reaching it's 3rd year! And despite my other graphics card dying, it's still going strong! (I built it myself)

My Averatec laptop is almost 10 years old. Bought it from Micro Center in 2002, 512 MB RAM, 40Gb HDD. Still runs pretty well, no overheat issue. Just replace the hard drive and wireless adapter last year.
