I have a Gateway laptop thats about two years old. Hasn't given me any problems so far. (The one i had before was an HP one and it it crashed on me only after 2-3 years)

I have a Toshiba laptop that's around 3 years old.

Macbook Pro around 8 months old.

Asus netbook around 4 months old.

Yes, that's a lot of laptops LOL. I should probably get a desktop eventually.

I bought my Gateway desktop back in winter of 2005. Specs: dual-core, 2gb ram, 320gb hd, okay graphic card, and also included 19" lcd monitor(lcd was new back then).. It was the best computer at best buy during that time. I bought the whole set for $1,500. Right now, you can find the exact same thing for about $300.. I should've waited 6 years later.. " jk! lol But I really want the new 17" macbook pro.. Imagine how advance computers will be in another 6 years??

5 years running on HP and getting upgraded

Turning 5 years old. Lol. Time flies. Converted to dollars, it was about $1000. It's crappy and bulky though but it gets the job done.

Current PC is about seven months old. My old computer lasted from 13 yrs old 'til 22 yrs old (it out and out died on me). This is one reason why I strongly recommend the HP brand. ;D

My Averatec laptop is almost 10 years old. Bought it from Micro Center in 2002, 512 MB RAM, 40Gb HDD. Still runs pretty well, no overheat issue. Just replace the hard drive and wireless adapter last year.
