hmm not sure bout the doll but yeah the pic was for the Movie Tattoo... well its a whole different role for her to take, i guess its time to shed off the cutesy image since she's already 23...

It's a pic for the movie? I thought in that one she has green hair (like that pic with the wig in her blog) so for the word 青 in 刺青 and heavy make-up. I didn't think she sported her normal hair in that movie at all. Most Taiwanese movie are disappointing though and are shot poorly with poor plot.

Priestess of Cuteness Rainie Yang cried after watching finish her new movie Tattoo. However, the media and movie industry are all celebrating, since this film has been nominated in next year Berlinfs festival. As a result, they have decided that they would aggressively promote this film locally.

Rainie Yang took the time off yesterday to watch the film, and was so touched that she ended up crying. Seeing the way Director Zhou Mei Ling handle the homosexual sentimental relationship between her and Isabella Leung in the film, how the story progressed to become so touching, she couldnft help but feel relief.

This also isnft the first time Rainie cried because of Tattoo. The time when she saw the script for the film, she was feeling afraid and hesitant. But under the strong recommendation by her manager, she let her guts down and continued acting. But because her role in the film is very constraining, once filming stop, she would need to find an outlet to let out her feelings, and thus, throughout the filming process, for no round of reasons, she would really cry out loud.

Tattoo is being nominated in the äݏۑåæV (Panorama) category during the Berlinfs Festival. Since Rainie has never participated in this kind of event, she is really excitedly anticipating in attending this event. Currently, Rainie is rushing to finish filming her new drama, gExchange Loveh. However, because the dates for the screening of this event and film have yet to be confirmed, she has yet approached the production team to request for the days off.

Rainiefs potential has been recognized by the industry, other people in the industry has approached her, offering a price of around NT 5 million to film another show. However, her management company has expressed that the script have yet to be read, and besides, once the filming for gExchange Loveh ends, she would still be releasing another new album, and thus, the earliest time that her schedule would be free would be after September.

RAINIE Yang is getting tired of her wholesome cutesy image. In a bold move to change that perception of her Yang is to play an Internet escort and lesbian in her upcoming movie Tattoo.

In a recent article posted on www.163.com, the Taiwanese star known for acting in teen dramas reveals that she is not the cutie type as many perceive her to be.

“This role came at the right time. I wanted to improve myself and wouldn’t have missed out on this opportunity. I’m giving my all for the movie,” enthuses the 22-year-old former member of the now-defunct pop group 4 in Love.

Award-winning director Zhou Meiling (Splendid Afloat) is helming Tattoo, which also stars Hong Kong’s rising singer-actress Isabella Leung as a tattoo master. Yang portrays Xiao Lu, a girl with a difficult past. When their paths cross, the two begin a complicated relationship.

So serious is Yang in the job that she has met with real female escorts to research her role.

Nevertheless, Yang is determined to excel in the breakthrough role and is undaunted by fans’ objection. Though conceding that she may lose some fans as a result of her accepting the unpopular role, she is hopeful that she will win new ones after the unconventional Tattoo.
