. I commented on someone's post here because I was reminded of that blind lady incident, I had that in mind way back when I watched the episode but it slipped my mind. And the one I highlighted in green, that is exactly my sentiment. She never really said anything (yet) about what she truly feels about the Captain, so we are left puzzled about her true feelings. And if Captain really turns out to be a baddie towards her, like @kaxx said, MW should've at least showed her rage when CS told her. But then again, that's where my theory comes in, that probably she remember the memories as she claimed them to be, but what if they're selective on her part? That she deliberately chooses to remember who/what she wants to remember. A plot twist would be really good for this drama...ha ha..I'd really love that.
And yes, Nam Da Reum will be making a special appearance...I wonder if he'll be another younger version of a character again..ha ha..he always portray those types anyways

@uglypearl Very interesting connection amongst the cameos. That is why I was hoping Kim Soo Hyun does too since, you know, he was also in that drama The Moon Embracing the Sun....lol..besides YJG is in that drama also

When you mentioned about that blind lady incident, I remembered I forgot to comment about that. The feeling without seeing. MY said the memories of the ghost can be scrambled. Floating around for so long makes them forget what's important. What if that was the case for MW as well? She's been around for a thousand years, pretty sure, along the way, her memories might have been muddled too. I can't even remember what I ate last week...lol..talk about a thousand years
. You mentioning MW could have been dead since might make it plausible. So through CS, it will be revealed to us everything that happened in the past that probably MW's memories aren't all what it seems to be.

Why do I feel like this isn't actually about MW waiting for the Captain or Yeon Woo? Sure, those employees have been implying she's waiting for a certain someone, but it wasn't outrightly said so by MW. Yes, she is being punished for her past sin, we all know that. Ma Go sending CS to her is the main point of all of this. She was frozen in time because for her, it didn't matter whether she's living or not. Ma Go wants to help her move on. Waiting may mean she is most likely waiting to FEEL AGAIN, to be human. For every happiness, pain and sadness she feels, a flower blooms. And when the tree blooms its final flower is when MW will be whole again, freed, and finally forgiving herself.
CS entering her life, and knowing bits and pieces of her past life, brings back all the memories/feelings kept hidden inside her. "You will be waiting for me to show up like today one day" also equates to "you will be waiting for someone to make you feel again just like today". Everything looks the same in her eyes for a thousand years, but CS in the picture now makes it a whole lot more beautiful and meaningful....but again...sad. Sad because no matter how beautiful it might be, it probably won't end like she wanted it to.

BTW, I'm surprised myself that I don't find the ghosts that scary when literally I usually watch this like 12am or 1am when subs are released...ha ha...I guess I'm used with all the makeup that I don't find them scary anymore and since this isn't actually entirely a horror drama, so all good

Pretty sure some of you were expecting a big revelation at the end of Ep 6 because IU has been hyping about it, but I just went in without any
. The ending may not be as shocking or as big of a revelation as we expect it to be, but that confession is a very big step in MW's part. As her 'tree' is now starting to bloom. I think everyone can relate to that, where everything seems different (beautiful) when you are with a certain someone. It is indeed beautiful but also sad. I mean, just the thought of it already makes me sad...

So even Ma Go thinks that sending CS may or may not be a good thing, as pointed out by one of the crones, he's either a remedy or a poison. Ah..that connection, I'm so curious already of the past.
I feel ep 6 is kinda slow..but I enjoyed the first few minutes of JW's jealousy...ha ha...I can watch her get jealous all day!

I, too, for one, still stand on CS not being a reincarnation (at least of YW and Captain for now), unless proven otherwise. Clearly, we know he started having dreams because of Ma Go. She plainly sent him to MW to help her. Let Yeon Woo and Captain be of her past and CS be her present and future (?).

no matter how many times i compare and contrast, they just don’t look similar to each other. Princess eyes seem bigger than ex girlfriend and the eye brow is shaped differently. Nose are almost similar. Even the lips are shaped differently. Lol! What is happening to us?!

The eye make-up aren't the same, even their facial expressions, the angling is also different...so it's kinda hard to tell...but their nose look similar tho ..that's the best shot I can take of the noble lady, I had to pause faster...LOL...

This was yet another great episode...great but sad....the story of the bride is quite unfortunate, especially the letting go part. What I noticed about this drama after watching ep 5, every ghost cases they encounter somehow relates to a piece of MW's past. As we go along with the episodes, the mystery of her past will keep unfolding as well.

CS: You called his name with love.. which is why it got stuck in my head.

I actually find these lines similar to when MW also asked CS about the Captain...
CS: Who is that man?
MW: Why do you ask? Do you think it might be you?
CS: I did wonder that. What I saw could be a memory from my past life that I don't remember.
MW: There's no way you're him.
CS: Why? You've been on my mind ever since I had that dream. You and I might go back a long way.
MW: You're not him. If you were him, I definitely wouldn't feel this way.
I suddenly feel like MW is searching both the two guys of her past in CS. The repetitive question she always ask, "Do you think you could be him?", tells me so. I can see a little bit of difference when she was reminded of the Captain and Yeon Woo. It seems like there's more that sadness in her eyes when she heard the name Yeon Woo. And now that it's been revealed that the tree also kinda symbolizes Yeon Woo...that smile CS saw from his first dream was actually MW's smile for Yeon Woo. I was right then, it's like we were led to believe perhaps the Captain was the person telling MW he'll build a house for her, but...ding dong ding...it was actually YW. This now begs the question, who is MW actually waiting? Yeon Woo? Or the Captain? Where/who does her heart actually lie?
~~ I totally love the Mina and P.O. moment..ha ha ha...I was cringing and laughing at the same time...LOL...P.O is being extra cute in this episode ~~

MW: I wasn't going to intervene, but a leaf changed my mind.
--- a leaf (green) depicts hope and renewal..as leaves grow in the tree, so is MW's renewal and probably new hope in life. And as flowers blossom, so is MW's finding the happiness she truly deserves (which I certainly hope a happy ending for everyone). The symbolism, representation of the tree/leaf/flower in this drama is one thing I truly admire about it. You need to keep an eye on every detail as it may mean deeper than you really thought.

Good point. Somehow I feel like MW being stuck in time doesn't necessarily mean a punishment for her grave sin (whatever that is), but also about time she can also finally forgive herself. And that's where CS role comes into play.

Or maybe she feels more comfortable with an oppa to her..ha ha..like LJG and KSH whom she've worked with. Very true, I also think it's all about the characters. It's this ambiguity, mystery of the relationship between MW and the Captain that captivates the viewers, as I, for one, was kinda drawn into it for a moment. But I always like slow, build-up romance so I am leaning towards MW and CS more. The chemistry I felt for the former is something that's undeniable but then slowly fades away. As for the latter, you don't actually feel it right from the get-go but you're sort of drawn to it as you go by, unnoticeable.

I think I understand why some people like the chemistry bw IU and the Captain, IU is one of those people who has great chemistry with her co-stars. When she and the Captain have a scene, I can definitely feel the chemistry, but when she and YJG are together as well, they also have chemistry that I actually forget about the Captain. I still prefer too her chemistry with YJG.

Agree! He was phenomenal in TCC, and I admit it was my first time watching him in that drama. Tho I know he's a child actor just like Kim So Hyun, Kim Yoo Jung, to name a few. And he is sooo good. He'll go far.

It is possible maybe that MW's friend was killed hence she went on a killing rampage... her former boyfriend might betrayed her hence she killed a lot of people....hence her punishment.
As for CS... who knows...MW's clock has started to move again and she will be *unfrozen* and free to grow old with CS eventually... if CS survive the ordeal in the next 12 more episodes, haha
It was implied that, yes, she has been waiting for 'him", though it didn't actually came from MW's mouth. So as to the reason why, they have yet to reveal it.
I do think so that since her time is now finally moving, she can finally grow old as well. So I don't think she'll just disappear suddenly when the tree blooms. She may have been 'alive' for a thousand years but she wasn't actually living, so at least let her live her life now as a human being as one should

You know, part of me has been thinking and feeling the same way..ha ha..what if we are all led to believe that the guy was the Captain only to find out it's not? Yeon Woo has been with her all the time, and just when I thought he will die when he was caught, he survived, thanks to the Captain. That would really be a great plot twist!

@vangsweetie637 Agree, long-time running shows tend to get draggy or repetitive sometimes that you find yourself not enjoying anymore. I would rather want them to leave me wanting more

. I commented on someone's post here because I was reminded of that blind lady incident, I had that in mind way back when I watched the episode but it slipped my mind. And the one I highlighted in green, that is exactly my sentiment. She never really said anything (yet) about what she truly feels about the Captain, so we are left puzzled about her true feelings. And if Captain really turns out to be a baddie towards her, like

The eye make-up aren't the same, even their facial expressions, the angling is also different...so it's kinda hard to tell...but their nose look similar tho

I just don't want this to become one of those typical Kdramas out there...ha ha..I want it to be as unpredictable and thrilling as it could be. So yeah, let's all hope Hong Sisters will live up to it.
