    Yes, LOVE. I would definitely want to see that. I mean, what does love can't do, right? Time and time again that we are shown what love can do to us. We may get our hearts broken along the way, but if they let CS's love bring MW back, there's nothing more that we can wish for. 

     

    And since they are now linking it to Gumiho's, then that kind of ending isn't near to impossible. I also watched that and I think I was satisfied with the ending.

    Okay, let MW probably disappear. And then we may see CS's lonely life after she's gone. Then throw in that overly used phrase "2 years later"...or maybe 3, 4, whatever they like. And then we see MW back alive. I want them to still be together in the present day/timeline. We have 4 Ma Gos...4 gods, and there are probably more out there...pretty sure one of them can work their miracles on her. I mean, they need to be useful also at some point, right? Instead of just playing around with my ManChan and slowly breaking our pure pure and delicate hearts ! ^_^

    Wicked...because I think even if MW knows what the consequences are for CS or that the price, whatever that is, that he has to pay is unfair, she is still holding onto him. It's when she said, "I tried to stop him. He chose to be by my side". Perhaps for MG4, if MW really don't want CS to be hurt, she should do every means to do so and just stay away from him.

    As for the very exact reason why the princess let MW live, everything as of now are all assumptions. I think it lies within the deal that was made between YW and CM and CM and the princess. We all know it has to do with MW's safety. We may have to wait for the remaining episodes to get them all answered at once.

    This is Chan Sung...am pretty sure he won't do any noble idiocy sacrifices. He's very smart and very understanding. He may have expressed his frustrations to MW about not letting her go that easily but, of course, he has the right to feel so.  That's understandable. He loves her. But at the end of episode 12, he told MW not to be afraid when she leaves him behind despite knowing how hurt he would be. He already accepted it. Thus far, CS has never made any bad decisions. That is why I really like him as an ML. He may look like the perfect guy but what makes him perfect is his flaws that makes him real. He's just like any of us. He FEELS.

And omg, you and I are the same because that's actually the scene for me too..when they were fighting and he was crying and upset and the all emotions. And yeah, he really shined in ep 12...hope to see more of that side of him.

    Maybe. This previews are usually misleading. And like someone said, if you noticed, the previews they normally show right after Sunday covers both the episodes of the upcoming two eps (in this case 13&14). So it could be right, if it turns out MW is the one leaving, then it might be the end of ep 14.

    Me too!~...I just decided to watch HDL at first since it replaced Arthdal Chronicles' spot and I was like, "why not watch it while waiting" but I didn't expect I'll actually be instantly hooked ^-^...

     

    @annamchoi Totally agree. She may have existed for a thousand years but only after CS came did she learn to love again. We all know she harbored feelings towards CM but we don't know the extent or depth of that love, was it as simple as a crush?...or is it deeper than that? Whereas in the case of CS, we all witnessed how she warmed up to him and slowly opening her heart whether she wanted it or not. I can say when she loves someone, she loves unconditionally, albeit she can prolly use whatever means she can to protect that love. Remember that scene where they all thought that the water spirit (Nam Da Reum) was asking for CS as a human sacrifice and how MW was so furious and was about to go catch a human in replacement of him. That's how far she can go. I won't have any problem with CS sending MW off as long as it would be when they're old enough together. Even couples don't go to the afterlife together since one of them will certainly be going first. And I wish to see them have a normal life too.

    I believe the preview of CS sending someone off could probably go these ways...

    = it might be a dream of CS of when he sees MW off

    = or it really is MW

    = probably one of the three hotel employees (but I still doubt he would go as far as run after it)

    ..I mean, how could they possibly do this to CS, gods or not, fate or not...it's just utterly unfair. He's like the only family he has.

     

    Speaking of fireflies, we had this superstitious belief growing up that if there's a firefly/fireflies, there's a ghost in that certain area where they are..ha ha..I always admire the beauty of the lights they emit but when I think of that, I can't help but think that there might be a ghost ..kekeke...and so I flee...:lol:

    the thing about this drama is that we are not given directly the reasons why scenes are occurring as they do. We as the audience have to connect to it and make sense of it. I don’t mind the fact that we got a short scene of CS mom or Sanchez’s girlfriend. In real life, if we were faced with such situations, we may even react the same way.

     

    CM is the first love. CS is the true love. Why not end it with the true love?

     

    I think that could be one thing, perhaps some people find the ghost side stories unnecessary or just out of the blue because they don't know that these little stories usually reflect to the MLs current situation or dilemma per episode. I actually think it's brilliant how they come up with it. Because if you can't follow, oh well, you are definitely gonna be lost :D.

     

    Maybe it's about time CS use his Harvard scamming and talent to scam the Ma Gos...hehe...who told them to mess with their life? If they can mess with them, they should too :D.

       I'll consider shouldering the pile as solely my responsibility. So....don't be afraid when you leave me behind. 

     

     

    I didn't know I would be in for such emotions when I started watching the 2 eps. This totally summarizes my feelings ...tenor-4.gif .. hate these ninjas always lurking around :sweatingbullets:...It all started from that father and son. I feel like someone's actually hammering my heart during that scene..aigoo, how pure and beautiful can that be, when you wanted to apologize to the very person who caused you to die....because you know that person may be suffering due to it. And then my poor Sanchez, it's just never the same seeing him all so sad and crying from that confident, quirky, happy-go-lucky that he is. Hope he gets his happy ending. And to top it all, the upcoming heartache that our ManChan is trying to let us all feel. It's like we're going down with them, if they don't get their happy ending, so are we.

    I actually didn't like the idea that Seol Ji Won gets to have an armor protecting him from turning to ash. I just wish MW had just ended him right there and then. Will he play a bigger role in terms of CS, is that it? Since we're all talking about this ill-fated relationship CS has and all the possible heartaches he might encounter as a burden he must bear. Hope Grim Reaper-ssi will take care of it.

     

    What I love about HDL is the fact that it deviates from all the usual typical Kdramas I've watched so far...no unnecessary drama/ separation/misunderstandings between the MLs. No one antagonist or annoying second lead ruining the relationship. No overused cliche plots. The most that standout to me is the characters, most notably uri ManChan couple. They aren't just the best individual character themselves but they're also couple goals. We may have seen a little argument there in ep 12 but that's because they're both emotionally scared...and how they patched things up by reassuring each other that no matter what happens, they shouldn't feel that way.

     

    This is it. This isn't just a drama to me anymore. This is about life and what comes after it...DEATH. However, death doesn't just end when you die and it ain't just about you dying. It's between you, the one leaving (Man Weol) and has to let go, and the ones left behind who has to accept it (Chan Sung). Yes, it's not that easy, but it's something we all have to go through at some point. Omg, idk, but while I'm writing this, can't help but get emotional.. giphy-1.gif

     

     

     

    Also, I think someone mentioned here how extra hot YJG is looking in ep 12 :D..and I may have to agree...ha ha..

    Now, I understand why but it's dangerous if they made CS to be so bold and aggressive...just look at this :P

    Another, I really think strong emotions bring the best out of YJG's acting..anger, frustration, sadness, even craziness (maybe)...he really shines in these types of emotions, in my opinion.

    CS and SJW's confrontation is really intense. Never thought CS would be that brave...but yokshi, he's really a MBA Harvard grad, because he's one step ahead. He may be a coward in terms of ghost but he isn't afraid of any humans ^_^...

    Even their personal IGs gained some new followers as well. I believe IU has like 8m plus followers before and then it is now at 9.1m. YJG too, I think it was 1.8m or prolly much lower?..not sure..now it's at 1.9m.

     

    Also uri YW, Lee Tae Seon..he only had like 6k when I saw his first and 2nd posts and now it's 31.8k and still growing. One thing I also like about HDL is how it helped these supporting characters like YW and CM to be more known as actors thru this drama. I only saw CM actor in Clean Passion for Now as Kim Yoo Jung's lil bro. And YW actor in My ID is a Gangnam Beauty as the ML's bartender friend. And btw, this is a reunion drama for both YW and Mi Ra since MIIAGB coz they were both there. (Apologies for mentioning these two dramas, hope it's okay to mention just for reference :D).

    ...looks like some are not satisfied with how they kissed...hihi...but considering MW and CS characters, a kiss with all the mouth movement wouldn't fit really well so a simple kiss would suffice...but....BUT of course, I know we all want more than just like that...me included *wink wink*...LOL :P

     

    EDIT:...and oh, since it's an emotional scene as well, I think the kiss is just fine as it is..

    You and me both! :D Idk but right from the start, I have and is and will lean to CS...even when some people are doubting IU and YJG's chemistry. Like I said before, I think for now CS is the best ML out there, at least for me. I'm totally in love with his personality.

    Overall, she is still a human. But I get where the confusion is from since Chan Sung referred to her from earlier episodes as a ghost, how he finds it funny to see a ghost putting a seat belt on :D..and the 4th Ma Go is like waiting for her to become a vengeful spirit (which I assume you become only if you're a spirit or a ghost?). So yeah, maybe she's in between a ghost and a spirit as she's too powerful for a human.

    Awww...I find that sweet how he finds time to visit even if it's his day off. Some actors do that too, mostly to show their moral support to their co-stars. And I love that YJG is keeping up! :D

    I think if CM character did not turn out that way, for me personally he' could have been a  very strong contender..hahhhha... he first got me in that scene when they fell off the horse and he uncovered MW 's face, and like how he was so mesmerized and stunned by her beauty. 

     

    If his character was not depicted as shady in the latter part, I would have been wavering from him to CS, and back again..... but that tragic episode of Yeon Woo kinda put CM character off for me. :mellow:

     

    I would still be Team Chan Seung all the way even if CM didn't do what he did...he he...but yes, the chemistry between him and MW when CM first laid eyes on her is sparking. I mean, IU always has the best chemistry with whoever she pairs up with...even Yeon Woo :)...lucky girl, she's getting all the men in this drama....HAHAHA...

    You mean like the BGMs? I don't think they usually releases it while the drama is still ongoing. Normally, you can find them after, if someone compiles all of them.

    Yup, agree...but very rare do they show both sides in Kdramas...mostly in romance, esp. when it comes to male leads...because I know there are others out there who do.

    Pretty sure, it's MW :D...she was hurt the most in their past...nothing is worst than being betrayed by someone you love. And who else would CS need to take care of but MW :kiss_wink:.
