In a previous episode, Lee Yeon Joo started opening up to Kang Han Soo after being held captive by Jang Dae Bang (Lee Joon Hyuk) and his men. This was driven by her curiosity, born out of the train of thought, “I have come to wonder what you’re out to do, and how far you’re willing to go.” With that, Lee Yeon Joo and Kang Han Soo worked together to bring down Jang Dae Bang, delivering a thrilling sense of satisfaction.

 

With Episode 3, Kang Han Soo and Lee Yeon Joo face the reality of having to live under one roof. The stills show Kang Han Soo and Dong Chi (Lee Kyu Sung) letting out a gleeful yell at Lee Yeon Joo’s Sowongak, which offers food, shelter, and low-interest loans to those passing through the port.

 

 

Lee Yeon Joo follows Kang Han Soo around with the façade of providing him with food and a place to sleep while trying to tempt him using flattery. But soon after, Kang Han Soo finds his boat to be leaking due to unknown causes and gets lost in confusion.

Previously in “Joseon Attorney,” the drama dealt with the rare case of a divorce lawsuit during the Joseon Dynasty. After a lot of efforts from Yeon Joo, Han Soo eventually decided to be the attorney for the head court lady’s (Bae Hae Sun‘s) divorce lawsuit. However, in the process of carrying out the legal proceedings, Han Soo made the shocking suggestion to the lady to intentionally hurt herself. Appalled by Han Soo’s suggestion, Yeon Joo was unable to hide her anger and fired Han Soo as the lady’s attorney.

 

After firing Han Soo, Yeon Joo takes it upon herself to help the head court lady’s lawsuit, and her chosen method is to disguise herself as a male scholar. The newly released stills show Yeon Joo talking to a mysterious man, which eventually causes Han Soo to misunderstand and snap at her. A behind-the-scenes video has dropped for “Joseon Attorney” Episode 3!

 

MBC’s “Joseon Attorney” tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people and exemplifies how revenge stems from loneliness. Woo Do Hwan stars as the charming attorney Kang Han Soo, while WJSN’s Bona plays the caring Princess Lee Yeon Joo.

 

In the new making-of video, Bona, Woo Do Hwan, and Lee Gyu Sung rehearse the scene where Lee Yeon Joo gives Kang Han Soo and Dong Chi (Lee Gyu Sung) a tour of her guesthouse. While Dong Chi is unbelievably amazed, Kang Han Soo attempts to appear indifferent.

 

After their tour, Kang Han Soo and Dong Chi enjoy a meal of the guesthouse’s famous gukbap (rice with soup) and the two diligently rehearse their animated reactions to the yummy food. Woo Do Hwan comments with a laugh that they’ll have to look like cartoons and adds, “I think we’ll have to do it in one try.” Despite all the practicing, the scene turns out to be harder than they anticipated as they end up in fits of giggles the second they lock eyes.

 

When they eventually perfect their reaction, Woo Do Hwan simultaneously smacks Bona in the face, which he immediately apologizes for after the take. Woo Do Hwan worriedly comments, “I hit a living being…” while Bona jokes, “Please include this in the making-of video.”

 

Woo Do Hwan makes sure to avoid Bona for their next take but still checks up on her once the scene is approved. Bona jokingly responds, “It’s okay, I didn’t get hit hard. Just a slap.”

In his effort to save Young Sil, Han Soo sends a letter to the city’s mayor Ji Seon to draw him to come down to a local village.
