Based on the hit web novel of the same name, “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Seung Gi as Kim Jung Ho, a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Lee Se Young as Kim Yu Ri, the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant when she opens a “law cafe” in his building.

On the previous episode of “The Law Cafe,” Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yu Ri were no longer able to hide their feelings for one another as they found themselves facing a dangerous situation. The episode ended with a bold, heart-stopping kiss that had the drama’s fans feeling vicarious butterflies.

 

However, in the upcoming episode of the show, Kim Jung Ho unexpectedly disappears after the couple’s dramatic kiss—only for Kim Yu Ri to find him all the way out in Joongpyeong.

 

Although they started out unable to stop bickering whenever they saw one another, the relationship between the two longtime friends is clearly beginning to change. In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Kim Yu Ri appears to be tenderly feeding Kim Jung Ho during a meal—something it would have been hard to imagine her doing before.

Not sure if anyone else is watching this drama  but I was two weeks behind and recently caught up andd….Oh man!! The kiss scenes were unexpected. Jung Ho putting a distance even though the guy loved her for 17 years. Yuri being so direct and honest with her feelings. Also love that she has that strong and crazy personality!!

“The Law Cafe” has dropped a behind-the-scenes look at Lee Se Young and Lee Seung Gi’s kiss!

 

Based on the hit web novel of the same name, KBS 2TV’s “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Seung Gi as Kim Jung Ho, a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Lee Se Young as Kim Yu Ri, the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant when she opens a “law cafe” in his building.

 

The clip starts with Lee Se Young, Lee Seung Gi, and Kim Seul Gi filming their high school days. During rehearsals, Lee Seung Gi throws in a random improvisation which Lee Se Young quickly approves of.

 

In the next scene, Lee Seung Gi films with Shin Seung Hwan as they enjoy a midday meal of instant black bean noodles. With everyone genuinely amazed at how well the noodles were made, Lee Seung Gi apologizes to the staff members for eating alone and the director comments, “Ah…I’m sort of jealous.”

 

The final scene in the making clip focuses on Lee Se Young and Lee Seung Gi’s characters’ first kiss as adults. In rehearsals, the actors set the tone, practice their exact movements, and shyly suggest ideas.

 

In the scene, Lee Seung Gi’s character admits that he thinks the kiss was a mistake, runs out, and leaves Lee Se Young stunned. After the take, the crew burst into laughter at Lee Se Young’s genuinely confused expression. They do another take and Lee Seung Gi bolts just as quickly, to which Lee Se Young sadly comments, “Why do you have to run away like that?”

On the previous episode of “The Law Cafe,” Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yu Ri finally opened up to one another about their true feelings while shedding tears. However, just as they were walking towards each other, the episode ended on a shocking cliffhanger as a car suddenly sped in their direction.

 

In newly released stills from the next episode, the couple shares a dramatic reunion outside the hospital amidst the pouring rain. Notably, Kim Yu Ri is wearing a hospital gown, while Kim Jung Ho’s face is bloodied with scratches and bruises.

 

Kim Jung Ho appears to be frantically checking to see if Kim Yu Ri is all right, while Kim Yu Ri briefly finds herself lost in thought as she speaks to him with a serious expression. Finally, the couple seems to get lost in their own world as they comfort one another for a long time outside the hospital doors.

Based on a hit web novel, “The Law Cafe” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Seung Gi as Kim Jung Ho, a genius former prosecutor-turned-libertine landlord, and Lee Se Young as Kim Yu Ri, the eccentric lawyer that becomes his new tenant when she opens a “law cafe” in his building.

 

Ahead of episode 11, the drama revealed still images of an upcoming flashback scene from Kim Jung Ho and Kim Yu Ri’s college days.

 

The 20-year-olds are walking along the street bickering about an object that Yu Ri shows Jung Ho. They then come to a halt, and Jung Ho wears a proud smile, while Yu Ri’s smile is filled with hope. The images draw curiosity about what this conversation is about.

 

 

Before filming this scene, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young went through much discussion with each other and the director to express the heart-fluttering emotions as much as possible.
