Ji Sung shared his thoughts about how he portrayed the twins. He explained, “Rather than creating and establishing different points to distinguish the twins, I wanted to focus more on the feeling of how they can’t help but be similar because they’re identical twins.”

 

 

Ji Sung admitted, “When I went to bed at night, Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun would often appear in my dreams and join me. In the end, I started to get confused between the two characters who showed up in my dreams.”

 

The actor went on to note, “Both of them are intelligent. They have different ways of accepting sadness. Ha Woo Shin is the type to calmly accept sorrow, swallow the pain, and bury it in his heart, while Song Soo Hyun honestly explodes with sadness and pain, and after he sorts out those feelings, he accepts them. The teaser starts off with an ominous aura as one of the twins say, “Mother’s will. An anonymous letter. A missing murder weapon.”

 

Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun are very different twins, but they’re both after one thing: the truth. They each try to solve the case in their own way.

 

First off, Ha Woo Shin enters Haesongwon, the residence of Haesong Group’’ chairman, in order to get one more step closer to the truth. Eun Hye Soo gives him a chilly warning, saying, “The more you know about this family, the more dangerous it is, and you’re in even more danger now.”

Park Hae Eun to join the upcoming tvN drama "Adamas"

Park Hae Eun will be joining the upcoming tvN drama "Adamas."

On July 13th it was confirmed that Park Hae Eun will be added to the cast of the upcoming tvN drama "Adamas." She will be joining  Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Soo Kyung, Jo Dong In, Heo Sung Tae, and Seo Hyun Woo. 

"Adamas" will be a Wednesday-Thursday drama on tvN and it will be directed by Park Seung Woo ("Kairos") and written by Choi Tae Kang. The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon and Mace Entertainment.

The upcoming series will focus on twin brothers who search for the real culprit for the death of their father. 

Park Hye Eyn will play the role of Sun, the ACE member of Kaesong Group. She is also the younger sister of Lee Si Won's character.

"Adamas" will air its first episode on July 27th Wednesday, at 10:30 PM KST.

 

 

 

Park Hae Eun made her acting debut in 2020. She debuted in the Netflix series "The School Nurse Files" with Jung Yu Mi, Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Joo Young, Yoo Teo, Kim Dong Hyun, and Jang Joon Hyun. 

She was supposed to be the female lead on "Alchemy of Souls" but she decided to step down from the series at the beginning of the filming of the series.

Director Park Seung-woo shared the hidden story of the tvN Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Adamas' on the 21st.

Ji Sung tries to find Adamas before time runs out

With the premiere now just over a week away, tvN’s mystery thriller Adamas has been pushing out more promos, including a new poster and video teaser, as well as new stills.

Who needs only one when you can have two tortured heroes? And the cherry on top is that they’re both played by Ji Sung (The Devil Judge)! Taking on the roles of twin brothers, crime novelist Ha Woo-shin and prosecutor Song Soo-hyun, the mission is to find their stepfather’s real murderer and free their biological father, who was wrongfully convicted of the crime.

 

This means finding “Adamas,” the key clue to the murder, which is somehow connected to the chaebol group Haesong. But it’s difficult to tell if their daughter-in-law Eun Hye-soo – played by Seo Ji-hye (Kiss Sixth Sense) – will be friend or foe for the twins.

Another wild card is Lee Soo-kyung (Law School), who plays local news reporter Kim Seo-hui. Although she is passionate about upholding justice and wants to help the twins, she seems to be hiding secrets of her own as well.

 

 

The video teaser begins with a funeral and a flashback as one of the twins narrates, “Mother’s dying wish, an anonymous letter, the murder weapon that disappeared, Adamas” followed by a text screen that reads: “The younger brother who searches for evidence.” We follow Novelist Ha as he makes a visit to the head of Haesong. Introducing himself, he asks if Haesong’s offer is still open, and when they can start the interview. The chief housekeeper briefs him on their protocols.

We then cut to Oh Dae-hwan (The Red Sleeve Cuff), Haesong’s “problem solver,” who has a suspicious conversation about witnesses causing trouble and whether suicide is better than going missing. On cue, Novelist Ha runs into daugther-in-law Eun Hye-soo who warns him: “In this house, the more you know, the more you are at risk. You put yourself in more danger right now.” Ha is then confronted by chief of security Heo Sung-tae (Insider), who puts him at gunpoint and demands to know his identity.

A text screen then introduces us to the next hero: “The older brother who searches for the real culprit,” as Prosecutor Song is surprised to finds allies to help his case. Director of police special investigations, Choi Deok-moon (Doctor Lawyer) explains his motive: “Do you know how many presidents were placed in that seat by Haesong? We’re trying to put an end to that era.” But our young Reporter Kim provides a simpler reason: “I know. That person is innocent.” Song then questions his biological father Jo Sung-ha (Lovers of the Red Sky) in prison, “If you were wrongfully accused, why did you confess?”

We then return to Eun Hye-soo, who continues her warning: “You’d better hurry if you want to catch the real culprit. Time is not on your side.” Amid an action-packed sequence, we also get a series of text screens reading: “A diamond arrow covered in blood. Steal Adamas. Two but one. Twin brothers hunting for the truth.” The teaser comes to a close with Prosecutor Song promising Reporter Kim that he’ll help her, just like she helped him. He declares, “It’s my turn now. I’m going to make sure to catch him.”

With writing by Choi Tae-kang and PD Park Seung-woo directing, Adamas premieres next week on July 27 in tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday slot.

Ji Sung will be playing both twins named Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun. Ha Woo Shin is a best-selling mystery novel author, and Song Soo Hyun is a special forces prosecutor who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office. Seo Ji Hye takes on the role of Eun Hye Soo, the daughter-in-law of Haesong Group’s CEO, and Lee Soo Kyung stars as Kim Seo Hee, a social affairs reporter at TNC with deep wounds on the inside.

Ahn Bo Hyun will be leaving a strong impression in “Adamas” with his role as Kwon Min Jo, the second son of Haesong Group and Eun Hye Soo’s one and only lover. He has a warm personality and a kind heart, and he once dreamed of a bright future with Eun Hye Soo. However, he died in an unexpected accident, and before she could get over her loss, she ended up marrying his older brother instead. As various suspicious circumstances about Kwon Min Jo’s death comes to light, Eun Hye Soo will start changing and slowly become filled with spite.

“Adamas” has revealed six intense character posters!

 

tvN’s “Adamas” depicts the story of twin brothers uncovering the truth from an incident 22 years ago. The two will work as one in order to clear the murder charges of their biological father who was accused of killing their stepfather and to find the “adamas” that is the evidence for the murder.

 

With the drama’s premiere quickly approaching, “Adamas” has given a closer look at the six main characters played by Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Soo Kyung, Heo Sung Tae, and Oh Dae Hwan with intriguing new posters.

 

When looking solely at their jobs or their statuses in society, these six characters don’t appear to have a single connection. However, they’re all associated with discovering the “adamas,” the bloodied diamond arrow. Each poster has a dark vibe and captures the silhouette of each actor. Within that silhouette is the sharp mark of an arrow, where each character peeks through, showcasing their complex and mysterious inner feelings.

 

Ji Sung plays the dual role of both twin brothers Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun. Ha Woo Shin is a best-selling mystery novel author who always maintains his composure, even while staring down his opponents. His determination shines through in the poster caption which reads, “I will steal the adamas.”

 

 

Song Soo Hyun is Ha Woo Shin’s older brother and a special forces prosecutor who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office. He has a completely different vibe from his younger brother as he looks head-on to the front, depicting how honest and confident he is with regards to his emotions. The poster reads, “I will expose everything you’re hiding.”

 

 

As Eun Hye Soo, the daughter-in-law of Haesong Group’s CEO, Seo Ji Hye’s poster boldly states, “Nothing is illegal in this household. Anything is possible.” Fitting for someone trying to ruin the Haesong Group, Eun Hye Soo appears cold and as if she’s hiding something.
