Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Ha Woo-Shin (Ji Sung) and Song Soo-Hyun (Ji Sung) are twin brothers. Ha Woo-Shin is a best-selling, mystery novelist and Song Soo-Hyun is a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutors’ Office. 22 years ago, when they were children, their step-father was killed. Now, they discover that their birth father is the person that killed their step-father and he received the death sentence.

Ha Woo-Shin and Song Soo-Hyun soon learn that their birth father was framed for their step-father’s murder and they chase after truth. In the process, they encounter Eun Hye-Soo (Seo Ji-Hye) and Kim Seo-Hee (Lee Soo-Kyung). Eun Hye-Soo is married to the eldest son of the Haesong Group and she helps Ha Woo-Shin secretly. Ha Woo Shin is a best-selling mystery novel author, while Song Soo Hyun is a special forces prosecutor who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office. Although the two brothers look alike, their personalities and approaches to tackling problems are completely different.

The newly released stills give an exciting glimpse of Ji Sung depicting both Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun!

First of all, the video captures the twin brothers walking somewhere with determination. They clearly have different tendencies, and they use their own ways to seek the truth behind the murder case that framed their father as the culprit. Hwang Jung Min will be Ji Sung's rival in upcoming series "Adamas"

Hwang Jung Min will be joining the cast of the upcoming tvN drama "Adamas."

On July 6th Hwang Jung Min's agency 9ATo Entertainment shared that the actress will be part of the upcoming tvN drama "Adamas." She will be the rival of Ji Sung's character in the series. 

"Adamas" will be part of the Wednesday and Thursday drama timeslot on tvN. It will narrate the journey of the twin brothers who are seeking justice for the death of their father.

Hwang Jung Min will play the role of the butler of Chairman Kwon, the head of the Haesong Group.

"Adamas" will be helmed by director Park Seung Woo ("Kairos") and the script will be written by Choi Tae Kang. The drama will be produced by Studio Dragon and Mace Entertainment.

The series will be led by Ji Sung, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Soo Kyung, Jo Dong In, Heo Sung Tae, Seo Hyun Woo

"Adamas" will premiere its first episode on July 27th at 10:30 PM KST.

 

 

Hwang Jung Min is currently starring in the drama "Cleaning Up" with Yeom Jung Ah, Jeon So Min, Kim Jae Hwa, Lee Moo Saeng, Na In Woo, and Kim Na Yoon. She will also join the upcoming drama "The Forbidden Marriage." 

"Adamas" will be her next project for the year. She started 2022 with the series "Through the Darkness." She made a special appearance in the drama. 

Hwang Jung Min is known for being part of the dramas "Law School," "Kairos," "Love Affairs in the Afternoon," "I Picked Up a Star on the Road," "Tempted," "Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me," "Revolutionary Love," "Uncontrollably Fond," and more.

“Adamas” depicts the story of twin brothers uncovering the truth from an incident 22 years ago. Although the two brothers look alike, their personalities and approaches to tackling problems are completely different.

On July 8, the drama unveiled character teasers for Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun. Ji Sung vividly portrays the stark differences between Ha Woo Shin, a best-selling mystery novel author, and Song Soo Hyun, a special forces prosecutor who works at the Central District Prosecutor’s office.

In the first teaser, Song Soo Hyun shows off his charismatic and expressive nature. Clips of things like a crime scene and prison flash across the scene, hinting his connection to the world of law. Song Soo Hyun gets tangled up with Kim Seo Hee (Lee Soo Kyung), a social affairs reporter at TNC with deep wounds on the inside. She boldly claims, “I know he’s innocent,” piquing curiosity about who she’s referring to.

The video hints that Song Soo Hyun will engage in tense confrontations with Team Leader Lee (Oh Dae Hwan), the head of Haesong Group’s secret organization Team A. He gives a chilling warning to the prosecutor, saying, “If you don’t know it, memorize it. Haesong is the one who does the controlling.” Towards the end, Song Soo Hyun erupts with frustration and anger as he threatens someone, “Look forward to it. I’ll reveal every single thing that you’re hiding.”

 

 

On the other hand, Song Soo Hyun’s younger brother Ha Woo Shin enters Haesongwon, the residence of Haesong Group’s chariman, in order to get one more step closer to the truth. He exudes much calmer vibes than his fiery twin, but his eyes are filled with equally overwhelming charisma.

Eun Hye Soo (Seo Ji Hye), the daughter-in-law of Haesong Group’s CEO, tells him in a breezy manner, “There’s nothing illegal in this family. Anything is possible.” However it seems like she knows Ha Woo Shin has a secret motive.

Ha Woo Shin searches the enormous residence in a very cautious manner because there are eyes everywhere. In particular, he has to watch out for Choi Tae Sung (Heo Sung Tae), the general security manager for Haesongwon. Choi Tae Sung’s voiceover asks, “What are you doing here?” As if he’s replying, Ha Woo Shin states, “I’m going to steal the adamas.”

On July 12, “Adamas” unveiled stills of Heo Sung Tae as Choi Tae Sung, a general security manager for Haesongwon, the residence of Haesong Group’s chairman, and Oh Dae Hwan as Team Leader Lee, the head of Haesong Group’s secret organization Team A.

 

Just as expected from someone in his position, Choi Tae Sung has a rough way of speaking, a stout physique, and a fiery personality. He has a history of destroying his colleagues by whistleblowing on Haesong Group’s orders, which has in turn earned him his current position.

 

In his stills, Choi Tae Sung holds a massive gun and flaunts his power and sense of responsibility as he observes and protects the area.

 

 

Team leader Lee plays the important role of being in charge of secret matters that Team A should never bring to the surface. As the No. 3 man of Haesong Group following the chairman and director, team leader Lee deals with all illegal matters.
