 I had no idea what to expect for a cdrama about vampires set in 1920/30s in China but I’m not sure I was expecting this. I am little  uncomfortable with the age difference between the ML & FL actors (particularly since in the first few episodes she’s styled so young) but he’s supposed to be a vampire so I’ll go with it.

Look at how smug he is. I need someone to rearrange that smugness. Turn that frown upside down only the other way around. Anyway, he’s all “well if you don’t surrender, Mi Lan gets it.”

The way Mi Lan is shaking her head so he won’t surrender aaaaaa

Me too actually. But a vampire is always over a few hundred years old so I am trying to tune my senses to that. Vengo needs to have his hair slicked back…the curls framing his face is ermmm…. Ick. Kekeke.

What I like about the main couple is that they are both smart. 

After ep 15 the trio (Shen , Milan and Situ ) will be so powerful.

Another gripping scenes between Shen and Liang. I really like the dialogue between them.

Liang...what a miserable character. The fight with his inner demons is now even tougher and crazier. 

Miss. Jin managed to save her pride after that catfight with Mi Lan.

Enjoying this drama. I had a good laugh in episode 6 …

when Shen Zhi Heng dressed up as a typical Chinese Ghost to scare Mi Lan’s mother. His long tongue prop kept dropping and he finally just waved it around instead of putting it in his mouth. I was thinking if he appeared in his vampire form, it would have been scarier. But anyway, it turned out well because her mother ran away after that (although not for that reason …)
