Synopsis:

Wei Xiao Bao is a mischievous and playful lad without a care in the world. Through an unexpected turn of events, he becomes the student of revolutionist Chen Jin Nan, transforming him from a nobody to a hero who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. Wei Xiao Bao enters the palace by pretending to be a eunuch and he ends up forging an unlikely friendship with Emperor Kang Xi of the Qing Dynasty. when i was a kid, i watch it during 80's which star by Andy Lau and Tony Leong.. then 90's which star by Jordan Chan and Steven Ma.. then i watch again in year 2000 which star by Dicky Cheung. I plan to watch this. Is this as good as the 80's? and 90's and 2000?

the synopsis seems good and i might get a good laugh..

douban rating only give 2.9 which is lowest i have ever seen.

i doubt someone will translate the sub to eng with this low rating

The show  had a very bad pilot episode which spoils the impression , I fast forwarded mostly through it until the actresses appear.

 

It's funny and watchable if you keep the expectations low. Skipped all the rebel-meeting scenes.
