What i know is that gong chul ask haesook is she married yet.

I also did watch the whole clip and another clip too. So basically Jung Hae goes to hotel for an event where she meets Jae Hoon and his partner (the female doctor). Now i dunno what happens when she decides to meet him in the room, but what is for sure that Jae Hoon kissed her twice and she both times tried to push him back and we see her standing up after that so maybe she'll leave the room. In the hotel Jae Hoon tells asks her that if she knows he is pain what she'll do and then kisses her. What we now know is that Jung Hae is still sorry to Jae Hoon for breaking up with him. Now i dunno, but i don't really think she is gonna have a relationship with him. 

 

But now here is an important thing that i saw in other clip. It seems like Goong Chul is already suspicious of Jung Hae and Jae Hoon having an affair. He goes to Jae Hoon's clinic and comes to know that he also went to same hotel as Jung Hae. Looks like Jae Hoon's plan is working of Hae Sook calling Goong Chul is part of it. We see Goong Chul and Hae Sook drinking at her place. But yeah the important thing is Goong Chul continued to kiss and even hugged Hae Sook and Jung Hae pushed Jae Hoon back. Seems like their marriage is gonna be beyond saving.

Okay to make things a bit clearer, Jung Hae goes for a seminar for 2 days and one night which is also attended by Jae Hyun. He visits her room in the hotel with wine and initially she rejects before allowing him to enter the room and then that forceful kiss happens, which i think will be the only thing thats gonna happen between them. 

 

But as for Goong Chul, Hae Sook asks him to bring meds to her house and then offers him to enter (coincidence that this happened when Jung Hae is not in the town and Goong Chul has been having his suspicions? I don't think so). Also yes just saw the whole clip again, looks like even Goong chul did that in the heat of moment and maybe because a bit drunk too, we also see him leaving the house.

 

Now I don't really know what happens in the dinner which is shown in the dinner, but Jae Hyun gets arrested for the murder of Kang San and it is revealed that he was the one in closet when Kang San was harassing Jung Hae and choking her and he was the one who captured that video. And he does laugh/smile creepily while getting arrested. These two episodes are gonna blow minds given the fact we have only watched a few 2-3 mins clips only. Also we do see Jae Hyun choking his ex-wife so looks like he knows that she entered that room.

One murder mystery solved by the end of this week.  Next 2 weeks Professor death mystery will be solved. I don't know what they plan for the extra day Sept 4th.

 

This drama, which I like very much, only has about 14,000 views. Secret Forest which doesn't air till tomorrow already has 22,000 + views and I know it will have many more once it starts. It's on Sat and Sunday on Netflix.

 

Still waiting for this one to be subbed.

 

@Night_Owl I think the porn director's wife will have some compassion for Hae Sook after finding out her condition. And maybe later Jung Hae will too.  And I think in the end GC and JH will have a sense of relief after all this is out in the open.

Yeah, so one murder mystery solved, dunno how much damaged Goong Chul and Jung Hae's relationship has become?

 

Also what does Jae Hoon really gain from this? Does he think that Jung Hae will fall for her now that she knows he killed Kang San and hid her shoes so that she does not get caught and also sent the video when she was being investigated? If he really is thinking that Jung Hae will for him like this now that he became her knight with a shining armour, I really think his delusional af and needs a therapy. What will happen when his actual involvement in everything will come to light, him hiring Kang San and other things? That's gonna destroy everything he has, his friends who actually care for her.

 

As for popularity this drama is indeed underrated. World of married was good, but it sort of had a pretty straight forward story compared to this. Now i am mention WOTM, because on many forums people have been comparing this to that drama. Agreed this drama had a little slow start and also had many confused with false scenes, like we seeing Goong Chul killing the guy, but that being a lie. But the mysteries in the drama are on other level. Every episode has got unpredictable twists. Same was the case with "365: repeat the year" in which each episode had mindblowing and unpredictable twists but did not have much viewership. I guess people do not like it when there are many mysteries involved. 

 

I guess that the final episode on 4th september will be the closure one. Like all the mysteries be solved in next the 3 episodes and then the final episode will conclude like how the characters moved on from the events. Maybe we see Goong Chul and Jung Hae taking up a break with their relationship and come back together and maybe even go on a vacation around the world which Goong Chul always wanted to do. Maybe they'll not be able to overcome their problems and get divorced and we get to see how they are living their lives individually. 

 

I don't really know why this drama takes so long to get subbed. 

 

@brooksmom yes Kyung Ja will have compassion for Hae Sook and maybe she'll be the one who'll convince her to forget the past and not destroy Goong Chul and Jung Hae's lives. So maybe she'll back away. 

 

I feel like Goong Chul and Jung Hae will go through all this and realize that instead of keeping things to themselves, its better to share the burden and solve things together as that reduces the chances of misunderstadings.

Welp i hadnt finish the episode yet ( only halfway through ) and i can see both suspect each other and thats already not healthy 

 

Today episode and the preview surely prove that haesook really sick and damn she need some damn treatment not revenge

JH. He delusional if he thinks that Jung Hae will take him back. He is the reason that KS appeared in front of Jung Hae. 

 

I actually hope that GC and Jung Hae will divorce.

I just watched the subbed episode and a lot is happening. What i could understand was:

 

1. Both Jung Hae and Goong Chul are feeling insecure and both of them feel like their spouse is either having an affair or maybe has got feelings for the either Jae Hoon and Hae Sook. 

 

2. What I think is that Gong Chul also feels sorry and apologetic to Hae Sook for something happened in the past. We see him saying sorry to her for not defending her in the past. So maybe what ever he was doing right now for Hae Sook was maybe because he felt sorry to her. I don't really think that he'll go to her even if he and Jung Hae divorce each other.

 

3. In the preview we see Jung Hae with a black colored shirt. Looks like something spills on her and she goes inside to change her shirt where sees her shoes which she left when she visited Kang San. We see her pretty shocked while seeing those shoes in the preview. 

 

4. Kyung Ja most likely will try to understand and convince Hae Sook to forget about revenge now that she has terminal disease. I also feel like Hae Sook deserves to live her life without hate if she is really going to die. 

 

5. What I am really sure about is that Jung Hae and Goong Chul really need to talk about whatever they are feeling like. She should be telling him about the past. I know that she chose not to tell about her relationship with Jae Hoon because firstly it would trouble Goong Chul who we know is sort of a righteous person. Also it would things awkward between and Jae Hyun. But if they continue to not communicate with each other, they surely will end up divorcing. 

 

6. Reason that Jae Hyun killed Kang San is basically because he had warned him not to touch Jung Hae and he did not follow it. When he slapped him, it must have been because Kang San initially crossed the line and when Jae Hyun saw him forcing himself on Jung Hae, he must have lost his mind. It looks like Kang San wanted to benefit from both sides and his greed was what led him to his death.

 

7. We might get to know in this episode as to who really spread those photos. Also I feel like it will be Jae Hyun who'll tell Goong Chul about his past with Jung Hae. You know that guy really wants to destroy their marriage. Main question is who invited Hae Sook? Jae Hyun's ex seemed to be surprised but Jae Hyun seemed to be cool about it. Did he really know beforehand a party was being planned for him? Or was it Myung Woo or Choon Bok who told her about the party?

If Goong Chul and Jung Hae`s marriage won`t last is because of them. The third party in this case it has little  to do with it. I personally think that they will eventually recover but they have to comunicate better.

 

Jung Hae thinks that his husband loves only one woman in life and that woman is Hae Sook? Man, It is so frustrating to watch her with all these insecurities. Sure, he is a man who is comitted to one woman but he married you. You have a child together and he loves you both very much.

Clearly, Jung Hae was affected by her past. Her father loving another woman, her mother`s suicide, and her lack of trust in men. But she should know her husband by now. I think the biggest mistake Jung Hae has done was to not tell Goong Chul about her relationship with Jae Hoon. From what I saw in ep 11, they have not even had a sexual relationship. She married him knowing well that Goong Chul and Jae hoon were old time friends.

She even had a conversation with Jae Hoon (before her marriage) to clear the air between them? If they were dating one time she  should have had a conversation before her marriage to tell him why she left him and tell him that she did not love him anymore (probably never did). 

They had to pretend that nothing have happend? After so many years, there is still an awkward tension between them. And now, they pretend they don`t know each other when meet with other people? Of course Goong Chul was uncomfortable  when that Chairwoman told him that they have pretended that they don`t know each other. Of course he was suspisious when he realised that both kept secrets about other events. (Jae hoon knowing about the promotion, about Jung Hae`s mother and her husband not, meeting for golf ).

Now, Goong Chul... why he did not tell his wife about quitting his job or when/why he is going to see Hae Sook?

 

I think Hae Sook is terminal ill. She knows that she doesn`t have much time. She came back in their life because of Jae Hoon and her revenge but I think her real reason was to be close to her old friends, especially Goong Chul. I doesn`t love her like he used to do but he cares about her.

She confessed that she regretted that she lost a man like him. I got emotional when she told him that she is lonely and to hug her one time like he used to do. He gugged her and told her that he should defended her back then. Yes, he should defended her because she was a victim.

Hae Sook should stop pretending that she is a strong woman who will get revenge. She should say about her illness and make peace with Jung Hae. She thought all this time that Jung Hae was the one spreading pictures about her and professor and I don`t think she did. Before they were rivals in love they were good friends. Maybe Jung Hae will realize that it is not Hae sook the one who threaten her marrage but their insecurities and lack of comunication.

 

It  is not a surprise that Jae Hoon killed Kang San but now I totally think that he killed the professor also. I hope all the secrets will be in the open.

Yeah definitely if they split apart its because they refused to communicate and assumed things themselves. But as long as Jung Hae is not really very much involved in the Prof's death or is not the one who actually spread those photos, I think they'll be able to recover. We know what kind of guy Goong Chul is, accepts his mistakes, does apologize when needed, and he does love Jung Hae. Had he really loved Hae Sook, he would not have left her like that. I guess Jung Hae having this sort of trauma is also similar to the FMC's trauma in WOTM where her mother smashed the car with her husband and dies together and already saw how that trauma affected the FMC. I think Jung Hae also didn't really want to tell Jae Hyun that Goong Chul was her first love and she had crush on him since they first met. Deep down somewhere Jung Hae does know that Goong Chul loves her, but can't help herself with those insecurities now that Hae Sook has arrived and is also having doubts. I guess that is also making her feel miserable. 

 

Her relationship with Jae Hyun also didn't really feel like to be working. We see that when she tells him that she is not happy in that relationship Jae Hyun replies that he never promised her to make her happy. I strongly believe that the reason she didn't tell Goong Chul about having had a relationship with Jae Hyun because she didn't want their friendship to end. But yeah that silence has along with some more events acted as butterfly effect and the current events happened. I think the moment in Hae Sook's bar when Jae Hyun immediately moved to pick Jung Hae when she fell started making Goong Chul have doubts. We see him shouting "Let her go, I am her husband" and sounded like to be protective of her. This scene and the scene after when he says to Hae Sook to take care of his Jung Hae must have had some impact on Jung Hae. We see her looking behind and seeing Goong Chul still standing there and looking at car. What I am trying to say is, Jung Hae is scared that Goong Chul might leave her, as i said sort of knows that he loves her. She seems rather conflicted and insecure right now.

 

Same goes with Goong Chul. The reason he didn't tell her about quitting or being fired is because firstly he is already insecure that he thinks his status as a salaryman does not match Jung Hae's as a doctor. At the same time I think he does not want Jung Hae to feel like he got fired because of her. 

 

Also I think Mo Ran has got some grudge against Jung Hae. We see in the preview that Hae Sook asks her why she and Jae Hyun got separated or something similar, and she replies that while sleeping with her Jae Hyun uttered someone else's name while looking at Jung Hae (and Goong Chul also seems to have observed Mo Ran looking at Jung Hae). She did say to Goong Chul that he needs to bring Jung Hae. Yes i feel like she threw that party to annoy Jae hyun and also meets his friends. She must have also been friends with them and their wives. 

 

And yes now that I see it, Jae Hyun must have invited/texted her in order to use this opportunity for his plans. Let's see how things go in today's episode. But Jae Hyun's wry smile at Goong Chul while getting arrested gave me chills. This dude seems to by crazy af.

He saw an oportunity to use Kang san when he saw him needed money. He saw that he was the kind of man who could do his plan. He acumulated a lot of resentment, frustration and obsession over the years.

Yes, those reason came through my mind also.

 

I also think they can make their marriage work after all this strom will pass and I think they will learn something from the experience.

What I think is that as @larus said that he must have accumulated loads of frustration, resentment and obsession. At the same time we have seen how Goong Chul used to brag about his marriage and wife in front of his friends. That should have hurt Jae Hyun a lot and not to forget he had someone to stalk Jung Hae and must have seen how happy she was being together with Goong Chul. It must have made him jealous that she was happy with a person like Goong Chul, while he could have made her live more luxuriously.  

 

Somewhere we see Hae Sook asking him why called her to attend Man Sik's funeral and he replies that she was the one who wanted Goong Chul's number. So maybe he saw an opportunity to break their marriage when Hae Sook contacted them.

 

I think he wanted Kang San to seduce Jung Hae, which if would have succeeded would have led to Goong Chul (who according to Jae Hyun's plan would then go to Hae Sook) and Jung Hae divorcing. When Jung Hae would be having trouble with her divorce and be mentally unstable, he would arrive and Jung Hae would go back to him. I think this was the plan which failed miserably because firstly Jung Hae didn't really fall for Kang San's seduction (I really loved that) which made him to take extreme measures which was drugging her, stripping her and taking those photos. Also secondly Kang San became greedy and decided to get paid by both parties which led to his death. As You can see Hae Sook didn't have much role in Jae Hyun's plans before Kang San's death, so maybe after that he made up another plan which actively included Hae Sook in it.

Chances are he was looking for a person like that. Maybe he would have asked about the person who conned Myung Woo. For a person as rich as Jae hyun and having connections with gangsters (we saw in the first ep, when they fought some local thugs and their leader ended up being a person who was treated by Jae Hyun), it would have been quite easy for him to find the guy like Kang San.

Maybe he thought of a plan to separate Jung Hae before but when he saw Kang San being beaten by gangsters he put the plan in action. He found the "perfect" man for the job.
