Popular Post NRGchick
Honestly I was prepared to hate KBS because of Beautiful Mind. Hahaha. But with the beauty of Moonlight (maybe I am biased), I am thankful to KBS for giving them the time slot. Considering that Doctors was running at the same time and the other Moon was to follow. How happy we were when the ratings doubled! I can still remember the euphoria. To maintain 18% to 20% nowadays is wonderful. Add to the love the international fans are feeling and giving the cast and crew must be over the moon! (Pardon the pun) In the first episode I felt that the music direction was a bit off and the use of the comedic sound effects but they found their balance and it has been a wonderful ride so far. I hope this shows that with a great plot, including the perfect cast (from evil PM Kim to the lantern girl) all were instrumental in crafting this spellbinding tale of an impossible love (or as CP calls it, bad love). Although I am sad to see this drama end, I fully appreciate the work that has gone into the production of this drama and it's a keeper! PS any updates on the DvD or physical OST?

Honestly I think Yeong is being too cruel to HY. Just because he doesn't love her doesn't mean he needs to treat her like dirt. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Yeong was a bit of a jerk to HY in the last episode! I understand the love of your life left you and you felt betrayed but geez, direct your anger somewhere else. Unlike YS, HY was kept in the dark, she has no idea who her competition is, she doesn't understand why Yeong is walking around like a zombie, so it's a bit rude of Yeong to snap at her when all she tries to do is to show she cares about his well-being. I know we all are on team RO and see HY as the third wheel but really, how is she any different from YS?

He is in pain from losing Ra On and like any wounded person he snapped at HY. Who happens to intrude in a private place with memories for him and Ra On. Yes, HY does not know the significance of the place, however I don't see how he would expend the time to explain to her what the place means to him. She is also trying to make the best of the situation and is reaching out to the CP. Unfortunately you are talking to a wounded bear/CP who as Eunuch Jang mentioned is different and works himself hard every day and night. HY knows (pretty much at the same time as YS with Ra On) that one may be physically near but mentally and emotionally distant. So it's a futile love for both YS and HY.

Although I always try to separate my shipper heart/brain from when I write about other characters. Because I know to some it may look like I can't sympathize with Ha Yeon because I ship Lee Yeong and Ra On. But that's NOT the case! But yeah... maybe after next week's episode and we see - hopefully - some development with Ha Yeon I may write down some thoughts on her. Thank you so much, @febz-chingu! Your post made me smile! *hugs* It's okay dear sometime people just too immerse with their blindly devotion in a drama. So when others give different opinion they can't accept it to enriching their viewpoint. They forgot we're only talking about the character in a drama not in reality. Well we can't & we don't have to satisfiy everyone here, so just write your post purely from your thought & analyze. Because I know you always doing that objectively Ms.Screenwritter Always waiting for your post here so don't forget to tag my name when you've finish it ok? *hugs

She is also a woman who is pretending to be eunuch. So it is not fair to say that HY is kept in the dark. YS and RO are different status. if RO has status like YS, why would CP kept her in the dark? I think he would proudly announce to the world that RO is his woman. In ep 14, HY some sort guessed that CP lost his the woman he loved. She mentioned that if she sees you like this, she will say the same thing. Wouldnt that meant she know there is something wrong between CP and the woman she loved? I am sorry. I dont think CP is rude. That garden belongs to CP. Same goes to that library. Without permission, nobody is supposed to enter. Dont u think she has intruded his privacy? And he already made known that he doesnt welcome her in his private space. How many times she has barged into his private space without notice? How much can a man tolerate? If someone barged into my private space not once but twice, I would have jumped and clawed like a mean cat. I think CP is a perfect gentleman for only telling her dont come to this garden anymore. I dont like all third wheels. Period. YS and HY. All be gone!

Popular Post iheartyoojung
A night of confessions and rejections... Two different types of confessions of love but with simliar results - rejection. I must admit I admire their persistence as both have confessed their love for the parties that they are enamoured of for at least twice and yet I feel they have not yet given up hope. It will be an uphill task as the targets of their respective affection are... Fated to be together These two love birds are destined to be together, even after Raon had removed the bracelet, CP is still able to meet with her. I did not expect such a quick reunion but nevertheless happy to see them in each other's arms. Especially like the part when Raon who hesitated to grab hold of CP when he hugged her but when she did, there was this subtle change in CP's face as the grip by Raon is a confirmation that she still loves him, one can tell he was afraid he may have lost her for good. I hope they will not be separated again as it is indeed too painful to watch.

I totally see your point but the fact is he's always been that way toward HY, cold/distant or borderline rude. I love that he was upfront about his feelings and didn't string her along, but I wanted to see him being the gentleman that I know he is, not just to RO but to all girls, especially to one who doesn't mean him harm.
Popular Post hairuchii
So, I have finally caught up with all the episodes! And here are my thoughts on the recent episodes. The length makes up for what I have not managed to post for the past week! The Political Game - In the last few episodes, the writer has cleverly shifted focus from PM Kim to his cronies who have been the source of much trouble including the violent assault against the Crown Prince in ep. 13. I feel that the writer has deliberately made us see that PM Kim does not always have a hand in everything and he does not always keep a close enough eye on what his cronies get up to. He is always informed of recent nefarious plots much later, and I can predict that there is a high possibility that this would soon be PM Kim's undoing and lead to the Kim family's final downfall and descent from power. In Ep. 14, we can see that PM Kim obviously tries to patch things up by putting our Crown Prince and Ra-on in a very compromising (and, in his mind, very convenient) position where he could get rid of the Crown Prince and therefore remove anyone who is suspicious of his family's involvement. I do wonder if PM Kim would refer discover the Crown Prince and Ra-on together behind those doors. I highly doubt it. I have a feeling that Chief Eunuch Han would have done something. As this is dramaland, I am sure that PM Kim will ultimately be defeated and all his dirty secrets would soon be revealed by the end of the series - his involvement with the previous Queen's death, his family's corruption and involvement with the assault against the Crown Prince, and perhaps even his part in the rebellion against the King ten years ago. I have always thought that PM Kim has a part in threatening and endangering the King - sure it may be the Baekwoon who has started the past rebellion, but I suspect that PM Kim is personally responsible for the direct threat to the King. The recent assault against the Crown Prince could have also been a reflection of the direct threat against the King 10 years ago - both Royals have been attacked in the evening by armed assassins and the Baekwoon has not been wholly portrayed as a particularly violent group by anyone else other than the unreliable PM Kim. So, yes, has PM Kim seized the opportunity provided by the Baekwoon to threaten the King and been continuing to threaten the King ever since? I can guess that PM Kim will soon lose his control over the political game he is playing because his control is slowly unravelling and spinning out of his hand - there is that matter of his daughter the Queen who has pretty much abandoned the true Royal Princess and has taken in a commoner's child to masquerade as the new Prince. Our Yoon Seung has always been the quiet rebel with the Kim family from the start. I believe that he will do the right thing and expose the faults within the Kim family. I wonder if he has gone after the baby princess and has hidden her somewhere? He has been seen going after the man who has been carting the baby princess away after all. On another note, I actually find that, after Ra-On's departure, our Crown Prince has grown as a political leader too - he could be seen exercising his power and unearthing wrongs and trying to put them to rights. I suppose, after Ra On has left, he puts all his mind and energy to work. The Romance EPISODE 13. THE LAST SCENE BETWEEN THE CROWN PRINCE AND RA-ON. It was a scene that was so full of pure love - that, because it was void of lust, it made the love even more heartfelt and sincere. It was beautiful. So, we did get a 'bed' scene, but I much preferred this one compared to what we had all initially hoped would happen. Somehow - I wouldn't be able to find their love any more convincing or any more sincere if they had actually consummated their relationship. No. Their love is too PURE for it. That scene in Episode 14 when the Crown Prince struggled with his bracelet and cried. Gosh. That utterly broke my heart to see it. Great acting from Bogummy!

What does she gain from switching the children? because as I remember the prime minister, her father, does not know about this development. More precisely, does she do the switching because she think she will have more advantages as the mother of a boy prince or because she wants to impress her father? or because she fears that otherwise she would have lost her father support. she looked disgusted at the baby boy... a very complex feeling.. the actress is really good. she looked so vulnerable waiting for the sang gong to confirm that it is indeed a girl. PM didn't look too happy about the baby boy... i wonder if he knows,...?
