It was due to this drama i could see her comic side too. This drama was completely different from her previous works. The RO she potrayed: cheerful, bubbly, at same time the pain of being away from mother, sassy to the prince, cutesy, surprised, jealous, and honorable mentione HER EMOTIONAL skills. Putting all these in all one is no easy task. And at any moment I didn't feel the girl is acting, it seemed to me entirely that she is ra on. What a perfect girl. PDnim you are the best!!!!!

But as far as I understand Ha Yeon was a bit different in the novel. A bit more "scheming" or political active. yes HY in the novel Spoiler does not have such a strong love interest in CP. She is more protective over her family's political power standing and make decisions with her mind and not her heart.
Popular Post liemkopi
@Grace1003 Thanks for the translation of the PD interview. I want to thank him in person (if that is at all possible) for making the right choice to choose KYJ as the main lead actress. I am very amazed by how much PBG and KYJ complement each other on and off screen. They look so natural and comfortable with each other. I'm thankful that they are both chosen as the main leads for this drama:)

Popular Post NRGchick
So many new information to digest!! First, KYJ casting. So perfect and spot on. I didn't know what the plot was but with both PBG and KYJ signed on, there was no way that I would not watch this. Yes, there were limitations to what they could show from the original novel due to KYJ's age (even the writer of the novel mentioned this before) but she is perfect as Ra On. The range she is able to show - comedic, naive, bubbly, fearless and fearful and the overwhelming emotions once she is in love and the heartache of that love. I remember some comments from before that there were fears that KYJ may not be able to emote full heartache as she might not have experienced this yet. But when she cried by the side of the river and covered her eyes with her hand, I can relate to how one might feel when you miss someone so badly and knowing that he will be marrying someone else. Second, Ha Yeon I am ambivalent about her. I agree that perhaps it was because she was introduced late in the drama which allowed us to see how the CP had already bonded with Sam Nom and there was no turning back. The wedding talk began after CP only had eyes for Sam Nom and he was willing to confess his feelings towards (him) even though it might put the CP in danger or cause him to lose Sam Nom. The subsequent episodes just emphasised on the depths of the feelings of the OTP. HY may seem like an intrusion but you can also see from her perspective. She is quite smart, pretty and from a powerful clan, Of course one would wonder why the CP may not like her. Only when the CP tells her that he has another woman in mind (before he ran off to try and save Sam Nom from the evil queen), then she realises that the CP has such deep feelings for another. And fair enough, if the CP cannot marry this woman, then it must mean this woman was not suitable. I feel sorry for her and her unrequited love for the CP. She has also been rejected so many times but wasn't the CP also rejected by Sam Nom before and he persisted and finally won her over with the sign language scene? I hope that maybe now HY will focus on helping CP to consolidate power (with support of her clan). [This reminded me of Secret Door where the CP supposedly had a strategic marriage and his wife was one tough cookie but she still wanted some affection from her husband] [Coincidentally, this CP also gets involved with KYJ's character in that drama :P] PS. Sneaking a few moments at work to type this. With less than 4 hours sleep, apologies if I am rambling. PPS. Haven't watched Ep 13 and 14 in its full glory with subs so I might be back in 6 hours time with more to say. Heheh.
Popular Post marrsq
WwwwaaaaaàaaaaaaHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wwwaaaaàaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU ...GUM GUM & YUM YUM. For making an old women cry buckets of tears...for breaking my heart to pieces... for being the manly man you are CP. Some of the best acting i have seen in the many many years of watching k dramas. PBG is an awesome actor. KYJ is just unbelieaviable in her acting. Spot on with the crying scenes. She definitely has taken over Park Shin Hye as the best crying actress. OMG! This episode is the best. The anguish both went through proofs this is not just puppy love but love of a different level. When CP told off the other woman never to come to his garden ever again... i was so happy (sorry... not hard feeling. Just a drama). To hom its his secret garden meant for his woman only... ooohhh i'm going to cry again... I want PBG and KYJ to date for real! There... i said it! I noticed a tear rolled down when she was told the baby was a princess so maybe she was still hoping against hope it would be a prince. The way I see it, the reason why she won't look at the baby even once is cos it may undermine her resolve to carry out her plan.
Popular Post Grace1003
Moonlight Drawn By Clouds: Episode 14 by javabeans | October 4, 2016 | 9 Comments The moon takes on added symbolism today, offering a sliver of hope to cling to in the midst of unease, reminding us that there are things to look forward to, and faith to keep alive. It’s a hope that comes at a welcome time, because things are about to get a whole lotta serious up in this joint. Is everyone bracing themselves? COMMENTS Yay, he didn’t give up faith, but also, oh my god runnnnnnn! It’s a trap! This is all about to come down on your heads in a very bad way! Because, barring a last-minute miracle (which I won’t give up on; it’s unlikely, but still something to console me through the week), it looks like these two have fallen prey to the prime minister’s machinations. Just as Ra-on’s flight cast her in a guilty light (in addition to the false testimony that nobody is in a position to contradict), being caught together here not only bodes ill for Ra-on, it casts doubt onto the prince, too. If he’s consorting with the enemy, then he needs to come up with a really convincing explanation in order to escape being painted as in cahoots with traitors. Of course it’s absurd for him to have planned his own assassination attempt, but I suppose nothing’s out of the realm of possibility if you ascribe a persuasive logic to it, however false. As we’ve seen in many a sageuk, all that’s needed is a clever twisting of the facts to fashion a narrative that’s far from true but highly credible: It’s never the truth itself that matters, but the appearance of it, and whoever is better at crafting that illusion ends up the winner. I’m encouraged by past displays of Yeong’s quick wit and ability to outsmart his foes, but on this score I worry that he’s at a clear disadvantage. Even if they were able to clear Ra-on of being a spy for Baekwoonhwe, she’s still got multiple black marks against her that leave her in danger: She’s the daughter of a traitor, and as such would either face death or possibly slavehood; she impersonated a man and used a false identity; and she dishonored the eunuch status by infiltrating it fraudulently. Knowing how dire the situation is for Ra-on was part of why I found yesterday’s goodbye moving and necessary, because I was hard-pressed to come up with reasons for her to stay, despite hating that she had to leave. And so, yesterday’s sadness felt poignant but still sweet, like a soft pang in the heart, while today felt like a sharper, colder type of pain. Yeong’s heartbreak signifies more than just a love that could not be; it came hand in hand with a breach of trust and a fear that the world may never be right again. *tears* I didn’t necessarily want him to be blind to doubt—his overwhelming love for Ra-on hasn’t always made him act in the smartest of ways—but it hurt to see him totally disillusioned, wrestling with the fear that Ra-on could have betrayed him. My heart dropped when he started to take off his bracelet and then broke down at the gesture. It was a huge relief to see that he hadn’t, ultimately, given up his faith in Ra-on, as the show made it a point to show us the bracelet he was still wearing; he’s entitled to feel angry, but he can be hurt and love her at the same time. It’s why, despite feeling bad for Ha-yeon, I actually found it really satisfying when he kicked her out of his private garden, because it felt like he was fighting to protect that love. And speaking of Ha-yeon, it was a bit unexpected to have the selection come and go so quickly, but it wasn’t unwelcome; we already knew she would be the one, so no need to linger on foregone conclusions. Glossing it over also kept us emotionally in line with Yeong; he was dealing with his broken heart all episode, and I could feel how disengaged he was from the selection, which made it fitting to move past it swiftly. I just really hope that our couple gets a chance to talk out some of their questions now, even if just for a moment, before the soldiers come charging in to accuse them of treasonous activities. I suppose they could also talk it out in long conversations in prison, but I’d much rather that a clever twist, or a helpful hand by one BFF or the other, will save the day and keep them safe for just a while longer. The ending scene also reminded me how grateful I am to this show for never dragging things out for too long, because it felt like this was about as much angst and separation as I could handle before it would have dulled my enjoyment of the show. I can handle a drama that deepens its emotional line and heightens the melodrama, but I don’t want it to come at the expense of gratifying relationships and plot that I actually want to see unfold. That’s the thing a lot of dramas miss in their last third or quarter; the story may necessitate angst, but I’ve sat through so many dramas where that angst resulted in episodes that were just no fun to watch. If nothing else, I’m glad we could end on a note that was uplifting amidst the dread, to keep my hope alive for the rest of the week. I did love the use of the moon as a motif to tie together our couple; it sort of took over where the bracelets left off and continued the same message: that the moon remains constant despite location and time and even its variations on shape, and as long as Ra-on and Yeong feel the same way, their love will remain constant. I like its symbolism better than the bracelets, which always had that contingency of being worn—at least, the initial superstition did, stating that the two people who wore them would be destined to meet again, which is why Ra-on’s return of the bracelet felt like such a blow. The moon, on the other hand? It just is. http://www.dramabeans.com/2016/10/moonlight-drawn-by-clouds-episode-14/

Erin Lokanata
I really love last night episode. Oh my god. PBG's acting is awesome. I'm so amazed with his acting. I can feel his pain his anger his sadness to RaOn. And the last scene. "I'll never forgive you" . I believe what Young means is he will never forgive RaOn bcs of breaking her promise of not letting him go no matter what. Not bcs of she's HGN's daughter. I'm so curious about the next episode. Seems like its a trap to Young. But what I really afraid is they'll capture RaOn and made her say that yes I have a relationship with crown prince eventhough he knows that I'm HGN's daughter. Tsk Tsk Tsk. RaOn will never say that for sure and they'll will torture her continuosly until she say it *esp that evil PM Kim* By the way how is the webtoon ending? Is it happy ending or sad ending? Can anyone tell me? Thanks
