Kim Yoo Jung Celebrates Surprise Birthday Party On “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” Set

A staff member from KBS2’s “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” has revealed photos of Kim Yoo Jung’s birthday celebration on the set.

It turns out everyone kept quiet as they wanted to surprise the actress with her birthday gift. The photo shows the cast and crew members happily smiling as they congratulate Kim Yoo Jung. Meanwhile, the actress looks surprised as she holds a hand over her mouth and a bouquet of flowers.

In addition to this celebration, Kim Yoo Jung’s close friends came to visit her on the set. Fellow actress Seo Shin Ae posted a photo of her, Kim Yoo Jung, and Woo Min Gyu in front of a snack truck. The snack truck was provided by her friends and fellow castmates from the drama “Grudge: The Revolt of Gumiho” which starred Kim Yoo Jung, Seo Shin Ae, Woo Min Gyu, Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Seok, and more.

hi y'all! I've been lurking silently on this thread for a few days (and I'm still on the middle of backreading lol)  but with the recent preview and bts I can't take it anymore so I've decided to delurk  I get the feeling that the next episodes will be heartbreaking so I'm preparing tons of tissues and my heart as well.  mdbc team was really so good i've got nothing but praises I just knew the moment they announced the leads that this drama will be phenomenal!

Ep 11 preview seems like a precursor to a separation where CP realises that to protect Raon means letting her leave the palace and him. Thinking about that is heart-breaking but may be very necessary for the story devt regarding her real identity n the rebel forces. Her role n influence over that will bridge the rift with the royal family eventually, l think. It will also them to develop BY s story coz he now has to orotect both the CP inside the palace n RO outside of it. l just have a bad feeling he s the character who's life will be sacrificed.

Anyhow, l m confident that it will be a happy ending so chingus, lets hope they get thru the temporary heartache n separation quickly. Thats the best we can hope for.

I reckon RO will definitely get to her confession. But in line with her character, I think it will be done in a more subtle manner. I agree that it will most likely done through actions.

But yeah, I have that covered in my fanfiction . If the next 2 episodes has a RO confession, and it surprisingly is similar to what I have written then ughhh, don't know what to do.

I'm assuming the odds that I cannot possibly write as well or have the same idea-scene as the writer-nim.

I'm hoping a RO confession is done at a separation - a most impactful and poignant moment. Uber sad please writer-nim! For it would make the perfect balance to mine - a happy version.

@lovehbhjw2013 yes, translations are challenging. Even just synopses. As long as you get the message across I think it's fine. I have no problem reading it . I just highly appreciate any translation effort from Chinese to English, because I know how much work can go into it.

In this making, check out 1:25 . They were playing a game, PBG was supposed to copy whatever KYJ was doing. At 1:25 , KYJ said "Why are you copying me?" then PBG repeated. At the beginning I thought it sounds like "Saranghaeyo" but my friend who speaks Korean  said it's actually "Why are you copying me?".

KYJ...does anyone feel that she is struggling with the teary/crying scenes lately? There were a few scenes lately where I felt that she was struggling to tear up...almost like she is forcing herself to tear up but...no tears. 

 

It feels like KYJ is forcing herself not too cry too much. that's what I have noticed.

It also is an ancient Chinese tradition. Noble ladies who could afford them also wore silver hairpins to test food for poison.

I looked this up once: silver can turn to black. Black would be an obvious indicator of 'something' wrong even if they knew nothing about poisions. It turns black because silver reacts with sulfur. And apparently, quite a few poisons contain sulfur.

I suppose the trick would be to use a poison that contains no sulfur . Seeing as the king's chopsticks turned black, it appears the baddies aren't that bright.

Before I delurk I wish to comment on the most overused, misunderstood word "BORING". I've encountered tons of individuals who find  a lot of things  "BORING". Funny though when you ask them why, they cannot support their assertion with logical well-thought out reasons.

When you make a judgment on something, in this case, MDBC, it is just fair that you support it with evidence citing the elements from the plot narrative and the characterization. Ironically, no reasons were given. When one cannot provide logical arguments, I and any person in his or her right mind, WILL NOT accept that contention.

MDBC, boring?! A  drama whose one episode live recapping advances at exponential speed, with 30-40 pages to boot? That in itself proves that this drama causes a tumult and a great adrenalin rush! You call that BORING?!

At the preview Teacher Dasan said to Lee young that CP is not the one who could save the little girl, so I wonder what he meant by that? This could only mean that CP is not powerful enough to save his people, and being king will be his only way to save the little girl from the execution thus he must marry HY. And maybe that is why RN is also telling him to marry instead of thinking about her (Raon), also i remember the time when RN was held captived by the Qing's man, she said to Lee Young that he must not protect her alone, he must think of his people because he is afterall the crown prince of Joseon. The marriage is not only to bring angts, Lee Young's marriage is also for the Joseon people, to have a great king like Lee Young. Lee Young's power must be strengthened!

But still....I want CP to RN alone and I can't bear not to see them being touchy and all cutesy. And yes, even they seemed not as careful as they should be when showing affection in public (piggy back rides, and casually wearing pretty hanbok), I want them to stick together like gums. 

Haii... why don't they just go to a far far away island where no one knows where is it and lived there together, they can bring the little princess with them and maybe eunuch Jang sine CP still need his eunuch (hihi). They can also asked healer to have his moru moru island in lease?! I think that could work? Haha. Okay, I'm going crazy because of the preview. But why not? Have we all survived the post-preview depression? My heart still breaks... so I'm glad I have to work today so I won't dwell in the pain.

As for the BTS video... You can see how tired they are but they're still able to joke around. I guess when you have a tight and stressful schedule the best thing is to have some fun on set.

And then seeing the pictures of Lee Yeong..... aka Park Bo Gum in another gorgeous costume. GOSH! If I miss one thing it's PBG wearing Joseon attire. I vote for more sageuks in the future for him. With KYJ I don't have to worry! She will definitely return to her favourite genre and with more pretty hanboks as well.

I watched the preview this morning and at noon, i bought kit kat chocolate, big bottle of coke zero, corn chips and tub of chocolate ice-cream.

When you are feeling blue as I am now after watching the preview, you need all the junk you can eat to feel better!
