this album is legendary. unbelievable. never heard em before. this album is on its 5th straight playthrough and will be the entirety of my playlist for another week. incredibly well done.

Their songs are great, but I've listened to other underrated groups whose songs are, well, just as great. What makes Brown Eyes is really their voices! Such heavenly voices - even when they sing upbeat songs, it's just so....heartbreaking T____________T

I loveeeeee this album! Too bad they're continuing the tradition of not performing! What the...T______________T

Brown Eyes the legend <3 it's funny because Brown Eyed Soul, or Naul and Yoon Gun alone, while doing okay on their own, can never quite create the same effect as Naul AND Yoon Gu together I just thought that was really interesting.

Brown Eyed Soul is Naul's other group. (Yoon Gun isn't in it)

It's a 4-man group focused on soul (duh), R&B, jazz, and gospel.

Brown Eyed Soul is still going.. their second album was very popular in Korea a while back (was the best-selling album of the time).

Brown Eyes broke up, I believe, because of musical differences.

The third album is possibly their last album, since Naul is enlisted in the army for now.

Somehow him licking the battery has something to do with a change. I am not really sure. Maybe he has learned his ways were wrong in the relationship. Or maybe he has learned to let go.

The donkey (richard simmons) is a guy the girl goes out with after the previous relationship.

In the beginning, it shows a lock,ink (very quick gun image at 18sec), radio.

Lock = control freak

ink = blackening of their "white" relationship. (another person suggested it had to do with memories)

gun = dangerous...

radio = lack of communication. Possibly the guy finally is able to learn of her pain with him through the radio battery.

i love how everything is so thought through...this album took 2 years to makee cherish !

This person on z-degrees (lychee) had a crazy good interpretation of it too.

"Okay my attempt.

The guy is the girl's bf. He became obsessed and deranged in loving her.

He wanted to possess her so he raped her.

The girl committed suicide because she was raped by her bf and also because she got pregnant . LOL.... let me explain how I got that.

The beginning shows a zoom in picture of her bra... so i'm thinking rape

The picture of the little child shows she might have been pregnant.

There are also gif images and there was a gun.

The girl is already in heaven. She was drawing in the beginning, not writing any letters.

The guy is in the present time. He is sad because the girl had already committed suicide.

He is looking at pictures or reading her suicide notes.

ink blots on the girl's paper is manifested through the guy crying (while reading the note).

Did you guys notice the girl writes/draws in her right hand but she holds the pen in her left hand as if pretending to stab him.

I guess this means she loved him/ yet hated him at the same time. The ink that was bleeding from her hand meant, she herself was hurt in the relationship.

The wound on the guy is on his right side because the girl can't bear to kill him because she also loved & hated him at the same time

The only revenge is to leave him (which is commit suicide)

When he burns the suicide note/pictures, the note the girl draws on also burns

She is in heaven so it's like when someone burns money in the real world, it appears in heaven (like in movies and stuff)

Somehow the guy dies also, and he enters the heaven world (notice he wears a different outfit) and tries to be with her again in heaven.

The donkey is the same guy and the girl and the donkey shows the past relationship they had together. The wooden shack thing in heaven is a replica of the mobile house. The donkey represents the other part of the guy who is loving, caring, and nonpossessive.

The doll freaks the crap out of me.. i have no clue..

The donkey tries to guard the girl but the guy uses the cannon to kill the donkey (his good side)

It's like he has an inner conflict with himself. He shouldn't be trying to possess her and instead just let her go.

He then fires cannons at her and she is trying to get away. He is not thinking clearly and thus she is unable to obtain her freedom.

She dies again in heaven, the music stops

I think in the whole mv, the music symbolizing his obsession with not wanting her to leave him. So when the music stops, he realizes he has hurt her and everything he has done.

He licks the battery cuz he wants to remain in his fantasy and illusion that he never hurt her. He loved her and blah blah. So the music starts playing again. So those images of hurting her appear but is blocked out cuz the music begins playing again.

At the end, the girl appears alright and she and him are together which is his fantasy world.

Did any of this make sense? LOL... "

The mv is quite abstract and i don't think i'll ever fully understand the story behind it.

But many people have different interpretations haha.

Thanks for sharing that one, sweettart88!!! Kind of hard to follow because each of them are quite different.

But at the end, i do believe it's about the stubborn-ness that the male character has for the relationship.

And the girl's trying to escape it.. but at the end, she could never really escape it.

Quite depressing.. =(

But i love Brown Eyes, i don't care.

also, I checked hanteo today. "Two things..." is at the top of the yearly chart with over 100,000 just shortly a month after its release. SCARY!!!! I think they're well on their way towards the million aim.
