@apqaria I'd really love to get a scene like the one you described... I crave emotional bed scenes so much and my favorite type are the ones where the woman comforts the man because something has happened to him. Those kind of comfort scenes are usually able to show us a fragile side of the male lead... he is not only a man but also a human with feelings... I bet JW will be deeply hurt by Roman's rejection and he may be a little off and MN will notice it and she will want to do her best to cheer him up and show him the love she feels for him - exactly what she wanted to do on episode 12 when she gave him the butterfly kisses or proposed to get married and live together. MN wants to give JW a reason to go on and that's probably why she will "offer" him what she believes he needs... LOVE... on a deeper level. Because it's true people can show love even if they don't get intimate, but it's only natural to want to go deeper and explore each other, entrust themselves to each other... You can tell I am very sentimental )

@purplebass, yes dear those kind of scenes are my favorite too. Because it gives more deeper feeling to the scene overall and to the connection and relation between the OTP. And in MN and JW case, it should means a lot for both of them specially after we saw how it was in EP 12 and can't be like the drama giving a bed scene just for showing one which I think was the case in IRIS II for example, that scene was hot I must admit but it felt kind of forced and just to show a bed scene in the drama and that is why it didn't give me that emotional feel I usually look for in such scenes.

LOL with every OTP I also ship in real life, my heart will beat so fast as if it's me smooching and doing the deed with the male lead when the scene will air on our screens =)) because I think about Wookie and Cherry doing... stuff... kissing, caressing each other... I know they might not feel the same intimate feeling that they make their characters feel on the drama (LOL I don't believe they don't feel anything at all), but still... it's like we have the best seat to witness their exciting interaction

I don't want to put much expectation of what they will give us or start imagining how the scene will be although it is actually difficult not to think about that. But I want to leave it for wookie and see what he did and of course what MBC will allow to show.
But reading all your posts I started thinking about some of my favorite bed scenes out there in Kdrama, on the top of that list is the scene from "Lovers" I know it is an old drama (2006) and not sure if you saw it but I think it was something big for me as usually I didn't expect watching such scenes in Kdrama and it was really so emotional, romantic and passionate for me and the weird thing that thinking about it now makes me feel the scene actually fits JW and MN.
And a note, actually Kim Jung Eun and Lee Seo Jin did date after that drama so I guess the scene was also so real from them but they sadly they broke up after that.

There the hero comes to the heroine's house seeking some comfort after he discovered his birth secret, they set together in silence but then he just leave (as the hero was a gangster he did feel unworthy to have her love at times) but then he knocks her door again hard and once she open the door he start kissing her against the wall, taking off his jacket and move while kissing till they reach the bedroom but then he stops realizing that he did surprise her with such moves, cover her after he was about to take off her blouse and hug her saying that he is sorry if he surprised her but she looks at him and say "I love you" then she kisses him. After that they continue kissing in bed with him kissing her forehead, eyes, lips and shoulders :x :x

OMO! It's amazing how quickly this thread has moved! I check in the morning and during my college classes and incredibly'll get to 200 pages. 


This image had not seen, it's perfect! I just want to ask ... Where do I get a man like that? Protector, caring, friendly, make you laugh, which is always on hard times, who cares about you, you can trust in, besides the physically beautiful it is .. as my mom says is the complete package ! Now with the bed scene! As future marketing specialist, I think a large part of the strategy team MBC make the same players talk about the scene waiting for more viewers certainly are looking to climb the rankings for that episode, but that will be transmitted on Sunday and as I saw the ratings on that day tend to lose on Saturday comparison - well done MBC, but if you put more BTS would be much better, it's just a small recommendation - 
Well, now speaking as delusional loader! It was what we both wanted, always commented to my friends from college so it would be fantastic to see such scenes in HK for the simple fact that they are now more mature in acting, compared to their days of My Girl, both experencia have already had in those scenes and was the minimum that the director could give us! AND FINALLY YOU WILL SEE THIS SUNDAY! Well, as many of you agree and I just do not want to have my expectations so high, not because they trust the level of acting of both, but for the simple fact that in Korea are usually very reserved with that kind of scene but a plus is that this drama airs at night, when children are in sweet dreams .... except in my country, which at the time is being broadcast live tomorrow and the only thing I do not want is that my mom see me red-handed, because if so, is able to send me to church and pray a thousand Hail Marys and lock me in a convent jajajajajajajajajajajaja lol - is too conservative -  
And with what was said by DaHae on bed scene, saying that there are some files that can not be suitable for display in Broadcast ..... just want to ask what is it that made little naughty? , It may be that in 9 months we see a beautiful baby Donghae among us jajajajajajajajajajajajajaja-this is very delusional

This is the first time i ship very hard a kdrama's OTP after more that 10 years watching & following kdramas..usually when i watch kdrama, i dont even border shippers thread or comments on any thread..as u can see my comments after 8 years only 200 comments..kkkkkk..this couple really make me wanna refresh this thread every second :-O ...every single comments about DongHae on this thread really made my day...tq Donghae shippers ><

Mmmh what DH said about some parts of the bed scene not being appropriate for tv... I don't know her beliefs or personality that well since I am a new fan, but perhaps she is also a *conservative* Korean? I mean, when I look at kdramas with my cultural anthropoligist lens, I've got the vibe that generally -of course, there are exceptions!- most of the actors seem to be very reserved and embarrassed when on interviews the journalists ask them about kisses, hugs or bed scenes because after all Korean culture is more conservative compared to other ones... with mine for example. I am Italian and the only thing we are conservative about is church matters, for the rest, Asian PG18 rating here is a PG12 rating... and I've said enough. >< So it's possible for Da Hae as a Korean woman, the scene may be too much. But for a person of another geographical area, it may be not. I wonder if television stations in Korea and the actors, kpop idols, etc, know that their dramas are also watched overseas by an audience with another cultural identity. Mmmh, I don't know. Since DH also lived in Australia which has a more US/UK lifestyle and way of thinking, it's possible she is very open about the intimate scenes and perhaps the seal the deal moment was really too much for a kdrama and Wookie exaggerated. =)) And the crew just made them continue it just because they are also shippers and it's a pleasure seeing them acting lovely-dovey... Anyway, we will see on Sunday.

PD said that he will entrust DH and DW. It's not like he can do anything when it comes to bed scene. The power is over reached.And regarding the bed scene, it might not air the whole bed scene. Well, Just thinking about how many times and how long they have to stay in a certain position to make a perfect scene makes me ... *imagine*

Oh wow all the manyyy good stuff!! Looking forward to this week's episodes

My comments:

1) No awkwardness - shows just how comfortable and close these two are that its fine to feel each others bare body or explore each other while being filmed

2) Both not wanting filming to end - feelings are mutual, both seems to be doing the right things flirting and spending quality time together on site. I have good feelings about this

3) Wookie leading bed scene - Means that dahae is just responding. I hope its passionate like hungry couple who cant wait to tear off each others clothes. Hehehe deep kisses tight hugs. If course PDnim I expect close up during these scenes.

4) Wookie trembling - no awkwardness but trembling cause its what the heart wants but the mind imagines but he finally gets to do it. I wonder if his ears will be red this time too. And how they will be able to

control themselves when filming if you put you heart and soul into it. Eheehe

I hope kiss and bed scenes get more epic in next episodes

I am so firm in the belief that they are a couple; from post-My Girl romance, to the break-up, and to the rekindled romance in Hotel King. I am so certain that sometimes I entertain the idea that I may be wrong-- and it is possible that I may be-- and honestly, I do not know what I would feel. Haha. Since My Girl, I was so sure that they became a couple and broke up. Until now, I believe this is the case. They have yet to say anything or do anything that will convince me that they did not date some years ago. ) And right now, with Hotel King, we are inundated with all sorts of public displays of affection, deliberate or not, conscious or not. And my suspicion just keeps getting stronger and stronger day by day as they reveal tidbits about them little by little (or actually not). 

When, and I hope not, at the end of it all, we are proven wrong... then I'll just say that it was good while it lasted. What we see during these times are definitely feeding our "delusional" minds ) They have indeed, and are still giving us, more and more materials to be deluded with. ; So, I'll just enjoy these things while they are at it.

DongHae are really the only real people that I shipped so hard, so I have no other experiences of getting heartbroken due to a ship. The other real people which I have shipped, but not to the extent similar to how I shipped DongHae are Ian Somerhalder-Nina Dobrev and Patrick Adams-Troian Bellisario, which both became a couple. In my almost 9 years of shipping DongHae, I have just mainly gone with their flow. I got excited and giddy during MG and post-MG... then when the news about them laid low, I took it. I even accepted their separation and involvement with other people. Haha. But imagine my delight when my ship suddenly bounced back, and stronger, more obvious than ever before! Haha.
