Episodes in the 80s are missing there except for episode 82 and 88. There weren't many SA interactions in the missing episodes, but would have loved to go through those threads nevertheless.

@linzer03 Ok. I think the 2nd episode of JH's guesting on F.O. where JK and JH are part of the ghost team don't have any memorable SA moments. We can skip it unless somebody remembers something interesting there.

I wish we could update our front page with links to particular episodes. For instance, if there is a link to linzer's list, would be easy for a new fan to access all the memorable SA moments in each year. But only the thread starter can update the first post, right?

SPARTACE MOMENTS 2016

 

2016 is the year of “this is an emotional journey for spartace and their shippers”. All the other years are like “same old, same old”, MC is a thing and spartace are just coworkers. And then we hit 2016. I don’t know these episodes as well, simply because there were times where I got fed up with MC and couldn’t watch anymore, so if I miss some things, please do tell me (thank you athoughtcloud1). The year starts out with the usual MC central, but then news comes that SJH is going to be doing WAIL with Chen Bolin.

 

Ep 282 – When discussing what they should do for the platform race game, SJH and KJK speak mainly to each other, and then when celebrating, KJK breezes past everyone to get to SJH, but the scene is cut before we can see them really celebrate together. Also, KJK did, in fact, piggyback SJH. Only it happened during the fast-forward part when the ice fairies were building the igloo. You’re probably not going to be able to see it in the episode, since it goes by so quickly, and it’s easier to just find it on IG. During the cooking segment, KJK says that SJH looks very feminine as she cooks and praises her cooking ability. Seriously, he doesn’t stop praising her. They also go into magnet-mode during the ending of the nametag game.

 

Ep 283 – To be honest, there aren’t really any moments in this episode, other than standing together during the team selection. However, this is the Shanghai Cup episode where, in the behind the scenes, you can see KJK and SJH warming up together, SJH looking after KJK excessively when he’s injured, and then the two of them putting their arms around each other as soon as they get into the hotel.

 

Ep 285 – When they are in the café during the first mission, you can see SJH and KJK talking to each other in the background. I should also add that it is during this episode that SJH’s WAIL partner Chen Bolin is mentioned for the first time, and it is KJK who brings it up and encourages KG to mention it too, showing that RM is okay with SJH doing WAIL. But anyway, that’s not the highlight of the episode. The highlight is during the mystery box mission where SJH is so afraid of what might be in the boxes that she asks KJK to help her of all people. LKS is already there to help, but she says she doesn’t want him and specifically asks for KJK (even though KG would be the choice that the Monday Girlfriend would have made). KJK is very nervous about touching SJH throughout the whole scene and continually looks at the staff, but he does come help SJH put her hand in the box. YJS makes a face at the pair and then, when SJH screams and leans back on KJK, YJS makes a joke that SJH looks like she’s giving birth. KJK likes this joke and starts to respond but then backtracks and asks SJH if he’s a midwife (let’s be real, we all know KJK is the husband in this scenario). KJK is encouraging of SJH throughout the entire scene, and she relies on him, even demanding that he hold onto her when he briefly lets go. When SJH runs away and falls to the ground, KJK is the first to help her up and even though LKS briefly helps out, KJK stays with SJH longer and brushes her off. At the end of the scene, SJH freaks out and KJK briefly holds her hand in comfort. This whole scene is very important (at least to me), because before this episode, people were convinced SJH and KJK weren’t close, and then all of a sudden, SJH is demanding that KJK hold her while she sticks her hand into mystery boxes, and non-shippers had to admit that KJK and SJH were close outside of RM.

 

Ep 286 – KJK and SJH walk around together for a bit after the crime is first revealed. And then when SJH realizes that a window is the best way to get into the crime scene, she calls out to KJK in a cute voice, and that voice is reserved only for him, since she loses the cute voice when YJS shows up. KJK then helps her up into the window.

 

Ep 288 – There’s a moment where SJH and KJK are walking with their arms around each other. It’s easily missed, so it’s probably easier to find on IG. Also, when they are eating at LKS’s house, SJH says she has a chicken breast for KJK, and then YJS jokingly says that he’ll eat it (teasing the couple, huh?)

 

Ep 289 – KJK and SJH act like strangers in this episode. Something that I’m very mad about because we all know SJH would have loved to go skydiving with KJK, but she had to play the Monday Girlfriend. Even in the desert when HH was standing between SJH and KJK, SJH suddenly has to move places so she’s next to KG. However, before the race to see who stays in the hotel, when SJH laughs at KG, she is looking in KJK’s direction. They both end up staying at the hotel so that probably means they interacted a lot behind the scenes, but when they are eating dinner, LDH says that the hotel is a romantic place for couples and then the male guest jokes that he feels like he’s sitting between two couples (SJH-KG and KJK-LDH). To this, KJK mutters, “Don’t say that.”

 

Ep 290 – When KJK wins the morning mission, SJH laughs and claps loudly as if she won herself. And then when everyone is getting breakfast, KJK and SJH can be seen standing together. When they are sitting in the desert, SJH moves to sit in the back next to KJK (obviously for the shade, not because she wants to sit by him lol). I think he goes easy on her during the baseball game. On the boat, KJK comments that he wants to come back with his girlfriend. The Dubai episodes have a lot of MC, and therefore very little spartace interaction

.

Ep 291 – And then MC ends…sort of. RM switches PDs, and we have the Q&A episode. Firstly, when asked “which member would you switch bodies with for a day?”, LKS answers SJH. KJK immediately rounds on LKS, and LKS seems to have to explain his reasoning to KJK as well as SJH. Why does it matter to KJK that LKS wants to switch bodies with SJH? I’ll leave that up for you to answer. SJH joins KJK in teasing YJS about what they’d do if they switched bodies with him. Then, MC goes on a big date which is intentionally done to show how awkward KG and SJH are when “alone” together. Watch KJK’s reactions very carefully throughout the video. You can tell that the RM members (especially KJK, SJH, and KG) are all super uncomfortable, but it has to be done to end MC so that SJH can do WAIL properly. It should also be noted that this is a new PD’s first episode, and the very first thing he does is end MC. During the date, SJH tells KG that the only two members she’s been alone with outside of RM are LKS (when they ate dinner once) and KJK (who she has gone tanning with “several” times). This is backed up by the fact that a tanning salon owner has posted multiple pictures of herself with KJK and has tagged "SJH" and "spartace" in those pictures. When the brain scans are revealed, KJK seems very relieved, and interestingly, they don’t show KJK’s picture but they do show the other single RM member, LKS's picture. KJK also knows who SJH’s current celeb crush is and that they showed a picture of him to her during the brain scan, which makes me think she told him about the brain scan beforehand. When the question about whether SJH is really pretty appears, KJK starts talking about how pretty she is. Also, notice SJH’s smile when KJK’s brother appears on stage. And when the brother is talking about SJH’s face, she is often smiling and looking to her right (in the direction of KJK).

 

Ep 292 – SJH and KJK are the two luckiest members. They also both help LKS clean up after he’s been unlucky.

 

Ep 293 – Both SJH and LKS complained that KJK scolded them for picking the wrong time in the opening. When SJH has to call PBG, KJK sits next to her on the bench. The conversation is weirdly edited, but it seems that SJH starts to tell the person she’s talking to that she’s next to KJK, but that information is for some reason significant enough that us viewers aren’t allowed to hear the rest of the conversation. When they get to the house, KJK and SJH spend a lot of time next to each other, and SJH is for some reason very excited to see KJK box LKS. KJK and SJH put their arms around each other when they celebrating with KG and HH (those four always vote together).

 

Ep 294 – When it’s announced that KJK won’t be there, SJH laughs at everyone else celebrating.

 

Ep 295 – KJK and SJH massage the guest’s shoulders together. During the charade game, KJK gets touchy with SJH when she gives the wrong answer, and then he is apparently so upset that she is getting the forehead slap that KJK has to hold onto JSJ. After LKS slaps her and SJH loses her temper, YJS gives SJH to KJK (because apparently it’s KJK’s job to control SJH when she’s angry). After SJH punishes LKS some more, KJK continues to hold onto SJH, and HH deliberately separates their hands while looking at the staff. During the apology to the other members session, we never see KJK and SJH talking, of course, but they do become unaccounted for after their first conversations, and it’s suspected that they were in the trailer together. They hold hands and hug at the end, and they also might be texting each other since they are the only two with their phones out.

 

Ep 296 – KJK and SJH look through YJS’s photobook together when they meet his first, and then for JSJ’s old nurse, KJK and SJH hand out food together. When SJH's friend says that SJH used to date a celeb, KJK stands up to clap (and I don't think it was a happy clap). SJH then turns in KJK's direction as she is trying to explain. When they see KJK’s mother, the interactions are interesting. SJH is surprised to see KJK’s mother, but then goes very quiet throughout the interactions. The only times SJH speaks are when KJK is around. However, the mother makes a joke about how KJK’s future wife needs to know how to cook (and KJK makes a face like there’s some inside joke going on here), and when the mother talks about marriage, she looks pretty deliberately in SJH’s direction. When it’s time for KJK to read the letter, SJH is the one who reminds him (and the way she speaks to him…). SJH also knows how long KJK’s letter is and she looks proud when he’s about to read it.

 

Ep 297 – When it’s time for the couple selection, SJH says she likes someone whose name begins with the letter J. (Hmm…) KJK starts forward. The other RM members are deliberately slower in reacting than KJK and there are times when they steal glances in KJK’s direction. However, the male guest (whose name is also J) wants to be SJH’s partner, and you can see the slight disappointment in her face when she realizes she’s going to partner with the guest and not KJK. Some of the staff are also looking back at KJK and the other RM guys also look disappointed with the couple (even YJS who usually teases SJH in these situations). During the quiz game, SJH adorably backs up when KJK does his dance. And when SJH is laughing about her answer, she looks at KJK. When SJH and KJK are acting cute, SJH looks over at KJK when she says “I love you”. One of the questions during this is what animal plays the violin during the song the tiger's birthday. It should be noted that this episode was filmed on KJK's birthday. And the answer was (surprise, surprise) the fox.(It's at times like this that I think the tiger/fox jokes might be real. SJH is also the one who tells her partner the answer.) Spartace also ends up standing next to each other after KJK gets water dumped on him.

 

Ep 298 – KJK and SJH stand next to each other a lot in the opening. And then, KJK and SJH are sort of touchy when they sit next to each other in the car (ex. knees touching and it looks like he deliberately pokes her for some reason). When they win the jegi game, KJK has his arm around SJH’s waist when they go in for the group hug (not as noticeable in the episode as it is in behind the scenes pics). Then, during the drawing game, SJH tells the old lady who KJK is but SJH gives no help when it comes to the other men. Also, when SJH gives the wrong answer for who No Man is at the end, JSJ immediately rounds on her as if she of all people should know that KJK was No Man.

 

Ep 299 – KJK and SJH obviously like dancing together, since they trade places with their partners during the photo game so that they’ll be next to each other. During the water mat game, KJK pulls SJH up on the mat so that she and her partner can win (it’s very subtle, but if you watch carefully, he is the one who pulls her up). When KJK jumps up onto the platform and pulls his partner up, SJH actually makes sure to sound impressed into the microphone so that she can be heard. And then during the final game, KJK is overly involved in giving advice to SJH and her partner when they have to decide how much to bet (KJK thinks they should bet conservatively so as not to get the punishment whereas SJH thinks they should take risks). SJH wins in the end. Also, the way SJH talks to KJK is weird again, similar to how she talked to him when reminding him of his letter to his mother.

 

Ep 300 – During the writing challenge, JSJ writes that he hopes SJH can get married soon. (There are a lot of references to KJK and SJH getting married soon in 2016.) During the food relay, SJH laughs at the other members teasing KJK, and then when they switch out, they high-five. During the reveal of who will have to pay, SJH is less excited than the other members to find out KJK is paying big. She laughs, but she stays by KJK’s side longer before joining the other members’ celebration. When LKS gets the 200 boxes, KJK and SJH look at each other when laughing, and then in one shot, you can see that KJK has his hand on SJH’s back.

 

Ep 301 – While KJK is arm wrestling over fifty students, LKS and SJH take care of him. During the pillow fight, KJK and SJH end up against each other in the first round. KJK knocks her off with one hit, and a semi-laughing semi-mad SJH hits him with a pillow. KJK then pulls her into a hug and nuzzles the top of her head. The other RM members fall into silence about them until the hug is over. We don’t see the end of the hug, we just see a red-faced SJH. KJK ends up winning the pillow fight overall, and the reward is the nicest room. However, if you look carefully, SJH is in the nicest room and KJK is in one of the mediocre ones. So he won the pillow fight and then gave her the room?

 

Ep 302 – When SJH ends up on KJK’s team, YJS teases KJK, and KJK just smiles silently. SJH and KJK then sit next to each other and laugh together at LKS’s food choices. When their team receives the penalty at the end, SJH finds her food too spicy. She leans on KJK and he holds her elbow, even adjusting his grip so it’s easier to hold onto her for a longer period of time...because him holding onto her apparently helps her deal with spiciness.

 

Ep 303 – When KG gets his nametag ripped, SJH has no reaction. When KJK gets his nametag ripped, SJH is annoyed and complains about how KJK has to now change clothes.

 

Ep 304 – KJK talks about how glad he is that his team won’t have to piggyback SJH in the final. He also protests when SJH bites KG. When it’s time to oust SJH, KJK holds onto her hands for far longer than necessary.

 

Ep 305 – SJH holds onto KJK’s stuff while he wrestles. During the soccer game, SJH cheers loudly when KJK scores a goal. And then SJH looks nervous when KJK goes out first for nametag ripping.

 

Ep 306 – SJH’s laughs when KJK drives out in the opening and does a pose. When the other men are teasing SJH because of her outfit, KJK says she looks good. Spartace then do the deflate the flamingo task together on the obstacle course. In the second round, when SJH is crawling, KJK holds her hat for her and encourages her. When they ask why none of the pink team are doubting KJK, YJS doesn't both to wonder why SJH doesn't doubt him. During the tug of war game, KJK cheers on SJH, and when she wins, he says “I love it when SJH is on my team”. During the final game, SJH warns KJK when LKS is coming to take their tubes, and KJK helps SJH protect their team’s stack of tubes. SJH also trusts KJK and gives little protest when he tells her that they have to take down all the tubes she's been protecting. When SJH punishes LKS at the end, KJK finds it hilarious and helps protect SJH when LKS is angry.

 

Ep 307 – When Hyolin picks KJK as her partner, you can see SJH shaking her head in the background. When they are playing the “make the person laugh” game, KJK wonders aloud how he can make SJH laugh. During the introductions, SJH smiles during KJK introducing himself, and then during the pole game, KJK and SJH pay a lot of attention to each other’s matches and SJH looks angry with LKS after he punches KJK in the groin.

 

Ep 308 – KJK makes a face at the staff when he finds out SJH is on his team and he says this makes him uncomfortable (remember that KJK is the spy, and SJH is usually pretty quick to figure out when he’s the spy and vice versa). JSJ also says, "KJK should take care of his lady" when they realize SJH will be on KJK's team. During the first game, KJK and SJH can’t keep their hands off each other. I’m not going to describe every instance since that’s impossible, but SJH definitely stands closer to KJK than she does JSJ. There is also a time where KJK doubts whether or not JSJ's answer is right, but when SJH says they should trust JSJ, KJK immediately listens to her. During the second game, KJK piggybacks SJH. When they're sitting at the tables after, he makes a joke about soy sauce (which I suspect is a reference to SJH’s failure to make soy sauce on WAIL). She finds his joke hilarious. SJH also serves KJK his dumpling while JSJ is left to fend for himself even though JSJ is older.

 

Ep 309 – KJK and SJH try to get front row seats to each other’s arm wrestling matches. When it is KJK’s turn, his opponent complains about it hurting his thumb. In one shot, you see SJH holding a band aid and then in another shot you see KJK suddenly has a band aid, so I suspect she got it for him. She also complains about always taking care of high maintenance men, which sounds like she’s complaining about the guest but since she doesn’t know the guest very well, it’s more likely she was talking about KJK. When the rules are being explained for the last game, SJH says they should give the bell to JSJ, and KJK finds it hilarious. After KJK wins it for the RM members, SJH comes to stand beside him. There is also a behind the scenes video where the members are wishing someone good luck with their drama, and KJK and SJH are sitting beside each other in the video. The next day photos were posted of KJK and SJH meeting some non-RM people for food.

 

Ep 310 – Outside the haunted house when YJS, JSJ, and KG come out, SJH can be seen giving KJK a massage. They both look very comfortable with her giving him a massage. When the hand-palm game occurs, SJH steps out to protest the female guest putting her hand on LKS's chest (because we all know SJH is against putting her hands on a man's chest). KJK then starts to argue with SJH, but the scene cuts away.

 

Ep 311 – This is the episode where KJK has a love line with Soo Ae. This is the most unwilling I think I’ve ever seen KJK in a love line. One of the female guests points out that KJK keeps looking at other people, and when SJH goes out to dance, everyone stops KJK from going out with her even though he volunteered himself. During the ice hockey game, KJK and SJH have to battle against each other for the puck. However, they’re both laughing and touching and it’s the flirtiest I’ve ever seen anyone play hockey. SJH also looks horrified when LKS hits KJK’s head with the hockey stick. During the Mystery Cube race, KJK wins first. During the closing, KJK is announced the winner and he celebrates with a smile at SJH. When it’s said he gets a meal voucher for two, KJK and some of the other cast members look back at SJH who is trying to hide a smile.

 

Ep 312 – KJK says SJH looks like a baby lion tamer when she comes in.

 

Ep 313 – When KG says he’d rather be partnered with someone else, SJH snaps that she has someone else she’d rather be partnered with as well. SJH seems to get a bit annoyed with KJK when he pays attention to the female guests. KJK also calls her a "sly fox" this episode. Note: SJH, in an interview, says that the men in RM have started calling her a "fox". 

 

Ep 314 – KJK recognizes SJH’s baby picture and says it’s hers with confidence. Before the mud wrestling game, KJK is first shown to be on the opposite side of SJH but then he somehow teleports to her side in the next shot. They then work together to push other people off the platform. Notice they are the only two that remain standing throughout the game. In the end, SJH doesn’t help YJS rip off KJK’s nametag, and in fact, it looks like she might have been trying to help KJK a little.

 

Ep 315 – KJK and SJH are on the same team, so they often end up standing next to each other. When SJH chooses a match up of KJK versus YJS, KJK says she has good taste (he couldn't resist that self compliment) and SJH looks shy. KJK looks disappointed when he couldn't win the book-slapping mission and get the croquettes for SJH. He looks at her regretfully and she pats him. When SJH has an all-kill in ddakji, KJK holds her hands while celebrating so that JSJ and KG cannot actually celebrate with her. During the soccer game, KJK pulls SJH back so she won’t accidentally get hit by the kicker. And then during the fishing game, SJH catches a lot of fish, and KJK is next to her to help her each time. They’re very comfortable touching each other during this game, and when they sit together during the last game, there is a noticeable difference in spacing between SJH-KJK and SJH-any other other teammates. KJK praises SJH’s cooking skills and makes certain she can hear him. JSJ also says that SJH's cooking skills are good enough that she can get married now (remember that one of KJK's mom's requirements was that his future wife be good at cooking). 

 

Ep 316 – SJH finds the nickname “muscle pig” for KJK hilarious. During the luck mission, KJK hands SJH her box and is disappointed when she fails. They then sit next to each other, and KJK blocks her from getting out to stop KG from leaving. She then grabs onto KJK when he tries to leave. KJK promises her that he will visit the live broadcast station on the holiday if she fails the final mission (which is a weird promise since no one other than a boyfriend would be obligated to make a promise like that). KJK then stays to watch SJH and YJS do the pop-up pirate game, and when SJH succeeds, the person she has to point at is KJK. KJK then gets annoyed when YJS celebrates their win with only SJH.

 

Ep 317 – They sit next to each other in the opening. SJH helps pat down KJK’s nametag.

 

Ep 319 – At the end of the episode, KJK feels the need to hold onto and tease SJH which apparently cost him the win. Stop flirting on the job, you two. KJK also makes a joke about SJH's long waist (which was a joke way back in 2012 when KJK and JSJ tried to raise her heartbeat so she couldn't do the game). 

 

Ep 320 – When SJH’s team has the option of switching out one of the members, SJH chooses to trade JSJ for KJK. The rest of the members complain, but KJK finds it hilarious. He starts to give SJH a side-hug but it’s cut. Since they’re on the same team, KJK and SJH spend most of the episode side by side. When in the van, KJK complains about SJH’s manager smoking (because apparently that’s something he has a right to complain about). During the jump rope mission, KJK jokes that he feels like a secretary to the women on his team and SJH finds this hilarious. When it’s SJH’s turn to sing, KJK sings with her, and then he jokes about her singing skills when she gets a perfect score. KJK jokes that SJH is an interrupter of his conversation with one of the female guests, and SJH says she’ll always interrupt him. In preparation for the nametag game, KJK jokingly pats SJH’s nametag and she smiles at him. They sit next to each other when listening to the history lesson.

 

Ep 321 – Everyone is surprised when KJK ends up on SJH and another female’s team again. Since KJK and SJH are on the same team, they spend most of the episode side by side. They high-five when they find out the first game is a chicken fight. KJK stands by and watches SJH cook in the kitchen.

 

Ep 322 – When the women’s team comes out, KJK goes to hug his former co-star. SJH immediately taps KJK to get him to hug her too…because it’s not like they see each other often. When SJH messes up the earmuff game, KJK finds it hilarious. There’s a moment where KJK is protesting the attractiveness of one of the staff, and SJH comes to check; the two then smile at each other.

 

Ep 323 – KJK comments way too much on the LKS and SJH pair. During the nametag game, SJH and LKS are the first two KJK and his partner run into. KJK holds onto SJH and puts her on the ground lightly after her nametag if ripped. KJK apologizes and the captions say he loves her but he had to or something like that. Later on, you see KJK holding SJH in his lap while talking to LKS. It looks like LKS tried to attack KJK so he held down SJH. Both KJK and SJH don’t seem too upset with that position.

 

Ep 324 – This is KG’s last episode, so obviously the focus is MC. But there are spartace moments. KJK sits on the other side of SJH. When SJH lies down to get a massage, KJK jumps up and helps put her on the couch. When KJK gets the vinegar drink, SJH tells on him and he gives her a little shove for ruining his act. When it’s KJK’s turn to get slapped, someone recommends SJH to do it, and KJK agrees. She doesn’t end up slapping him, however, since she’s busy trying to steal something. There’s also a short scene where KJK is comfortably massaging SJH’s back. KJK is the one telling the story about how upset SJH was that KG is leaving.

 

Ep 325 – SJH is wearing KJK’s one n only cap throughout the episode. She’s never worn any of KJK’s merchandise before. KJK looks annoyed that they are talking about the text SJH sent KG.

 

Ep 326 – KJK jokes “That looks tough” when one of the Sechs Kies members has to carry SJH under the bar. During the balloon game, KJK finds SJH, and they just hold on to each other until the female guest arrives.

 

Ep 327 – KJK and SJH are the last two in the hair pulling game. KJK asks “How are we the last two remaining?” and I suspect KJK wasn’t pulling her hair as hard as he was pulling the guys up until then. They probably don’t like causing each other pain. KJK apologizes to SJH after he wins, and then she kicks him. It looks like he hugs her after but that part is cut. Also after SJH's dancing, it looks like KJK gives her a thumbs up.

 

Ep 328 – KJK and SJH are on the same team, which means lots of standing next to each other. When they are choosing the eel, KJK says he wants it, and then YJS and JSJ appeal to SJH to get KJK to change his mind. Instead, SJH wins rock-paper-scissors for KJK so they get the eel. Also, when Twice is performing, it’s hard to tell, but it looks like KJK spends most of the performance looking over at SJH dancing. In the bus, KJK starts talking about how glad he is that they’re with Twice, but rather than pay attention to Twice, all KJK cares about is SJH’s reaction. She, of course, gets angry and says that they’re not doing this so he can be happy. At the restaurant, KJK verifies for the staff that SJH actually did watch the music video. KJK then coaches SJH on how to do the dance. And when Twice and SJH are doing the dance, KJK’s attention is mostly on SJH. He even tells her that she’s mean separately from the Twice girls. SJH does the dance to him and calls him mean as well. It’s a cute scene. They’re flirting with three Twice members in between lol. During the bidding, KJK and SJH disagree as to how many they should bet (it looks like KJK listened to SJH since they bid 10 in the end). But during the argument, KJK says, "You will throw away the house-keeping money" to SJH, which means he is referring to JH as the wife and him as the husband (I guess the Twice girls are the kids). SJH gives the staff an I-can't-believe-he-said-that look, and the captions then read "My wife is gambling this week", a reference to SJH's drama, but also a reference to what KJK said. KJK and SJH also turn the rope together during the final game. When celebrating their win, KJK and SJH practically run into each other.

 

Ep 329 – KJK and SJH stand together in the opening. KJK finds it hilarious that SJH doesn’t know “Cheer Up” by Twice during the boat game. SJH finds KJK’s costume hilarious during the disguise game.

 

Ep 330 – During the wheel spin, when HH swears at LKS, KJK and SJH stand next to each other and laugh. They get very touchy when they laugh as per usual. During the donut selection, KJK is the one closest to the donuts but is the last one to choose. It seems as though he wants to be on SJH’s team but cannot make the choice himself, so he complains about not wanting to be on YJS’s team until LKS eats the last chocolate donut, thus forcing KJK to be on SJH’s team. So, once again, KJK and SJH are on the same team, so expect them to end up next to each other a lot. One interesting thing is that it looks like the members of Blackpink know there’s something between KJK and SJH. During the water helmet game, when LKS continues to ask KJK about his ex-girlfriends and YEH, the Blackpink members keep glancing in SJH’s direction. Also, LKS’s choice to ask KJK about women is interesting, since that’s probably more difficult to answer when your girlfriend is sitting behind you. When it’s SJH versus YJS, YJS starts off by asking SJH what she likes about her boyfriend (which is an odd question to ask since SJH doesn’t have a boyfriend officially and it seems weird to make up a boyfriend for the game). SJH then says “he’s sexy, rich, and handsome” which makes the pink team laugh tauntingly at YJS. YJS as well as the Blackpink members can then be seen looking at KJK. When SJH is trying to remember a proverb, the person she turns to is KJK. After SJH wins, KJK celebrates with her by playing with the towel around her neck. When Lisa throws her shoe on the R tile, KJK and SJH run to celebrate with each other. They also hold on to each other far longer than anyone else. In the beginning of the nametag mission, SJH gets her nametag ripped off because she’s too preoccupied with giving her gloves to KJK in case his hands are cold to notice YJS behind her. KJK tells her it’s okay after her nametag gets ripped off, and then he and HH rip of YJS’s.

 

Ep 331 – When JSJ bullies SJH in the van, KJK punches JSJ, and when KJK is messing with JSJ’s hair, SJH copies him. You’ll also notice that while they bully everyone else, they never bully each other. KJK and SJH also stand next to each other for most of the show. Also, watch KJK and SJH’s faces when each other is interacting with the children. And in the group picture with the kids, KJK and SJH are side by side. When they get back, KJK figures out that YJS’s mission is to bully SJH (you can hear KJK say “that must be YJS’s mission” in the background), which means KJK is paying attention to who’s bullying SJH and needs to tell her who her bad santa is. KJK and SJH play Guess the Result against each other. There are times where they get touchy during the game, and KJK tells SJH to just find out the song title by watching the episode. Also, KJK’s first guess is “Who’s your mama?” which is the song SJH does her sexy dance to during the 2017 fanmeets. KJK and SJH also get touchy, putting their arms around each other, when they celebrate answering questions about HH correctly. When they are sorting who will get the penalty, when KJK sees that SJH had the penalty card, he says “Aigoo.” HH notices this (possibly JSJ as well), and when JSJ takes the penalty card from SJH and tries to switch it with HH, HH refuses. KJK is also very happy when JSJ takes the penalty card away from SJH. And it looks like KJK goes to massage SJH’s shoulders when she asks if she had the penalty card first, but of course the camera cuts away from them.

 

Ep 332 – This is the last episode filmed in 2016, and it is the first episode filmed after KJK and SJH got fired. Just to understand the circumstances, this episode was filmed with the understanding that RM would end in February. In the opening, KJK and SJH stand next to each other. For his new year’s resolution, LKS says he wants to see KJK get married. We then get a shot of SJH smiling and laughing with the “KJK get married” caption beneath her. This is the episode where the fortuneteller says that KJK would be great to follow SJH. YJS then says “I might be getting ahead of myself but it’d be best if SJH and KJK get married.” (There’s apparently no dating, spartace should just go from “friends” to “married”). HH gets excited about this idea, and JSJ agrees that they should get married. HH then says that SJH is the rich woman KJK likes. The score for their match is 85-90 out of 100. JSJ then says they should live together. (The other RM members have no chill when it comes to spartace.) SJH is then told that she’s a thirsty tree and KJK is water. When the fortuneteller says that when SJH chooses someone, it’s likely he’s strange, and you can see HH and JSJ looking at KJK. When KJK wins the egg game, SJH is the only person who stands up with him while celebrating. When distributing the Running Balls, KJK only gave SJH 4. KJK’s result for SJH was 80 in the card reading. Interestingly, they didn’t show SJH’s result for KJK even though it was much lower, which means the staff are deliberately showing results that pair KJK and SJH. Also when KJK is joking about YJS having a secret crush on him, they show an image of SJH laughing. KJK and SJH then pair up for the next game. KJK and SJH run away from JSJ together. While they’re in the waiting room, KJK says, almost shyly, “Coincidentally, we’re on the same team.” In the eye part, when the doctor is describing an eye as healthy and energetic, the cast narrows it down to either KJK or SJH (shows you how similar those two are). LKS and KJK are the two that know the most about SJH’s sleeping habits. KJK rips off SJH’s nametag, but you can see him setting her down gently. When SJH chooses KJK to get the second water blast, she says it’s because she wants the two of the them to start afresh. She hugs him and he pushes her away. The two are so cute teasing each other, especially after everything they’ve been through. Of course, after this episode, RM does a complete 180 on spartace's relationship, but it has been foretold that KJK and SJH will be romantic this year. Let's see if it comes true.

 

And finally, I'm done. Sorry it took so long to get through 2016 list. I had to rewatch some of the episodes since I don't know 2016 as well. It was a very emotional year for spartace and their fans.

@linzer03 Standing ovation! Wow, that is a Herculean effort to do it from 2010-2016! Loved reading the 2016 list! Really funny and heart-warming and made me re-live all those moments! Love the way you write! This one cracked me up. "When KG gets his nametag ripped, SJH has no reaction. When KJK gets his nametag ripped, SJH is annoyed and complains about how KJK has to now change clothes."  Ain't the lady partial? Yup, this was a year which tested us in the beginning, but then gave us hope.

I hadn't paid attention to the subtle hint in YJS' comment about how JH is looking like she is giving birth (that JK could be the husband holding her) in episode 285. But I felt YJS was looking at the two of them affectionately when JK went to hold her hand (like 'look at these two').

During  episode 328, when JH wants to bid higher, JK tries at first to gently coax her to bid lower. But she doesn't budge and then JK uses the expression 'you will throw away the house-keeping money'  at her which means he is referring to JH as the wife (and him as the husband with Twice girls as the kids perhaps?). JH's expression in response is also interesting. She, I think, looks at the staff, almost like 'I can't believe he said that'. And the captions for JK's comment read 'My wife is gambling this week', their naughty reference to JH's on-going drama. But then her will prevails and they win. (If you remember, during the episode with Shown U (episode 307), JH was similarly trying to bet all their points and JK who didn't want them to get the penalty was trying to convince Shown U to be cautious instead of JH , who I think doesn't listen to JK when it comes to her betting instincts. But then JH's will prevailed and yet they were able to escape the penalty. But in the Bad Santa episode, JK and JH were in harmony when it came to how much they should bet.

Also, in that episode, when JK chooses eel, it is to JH that JSJ and YJS (who want it for themselves) appeal since they believe (we assume) that only she can persuade him to change his mind. But of course, JH wants her oppa to get his eel and doesn't budge.

In episode 308, when JSJ gets to know that JH is on his team, he says 'JK should take care of his lady'. Also, during the song mission, when JSJ says he knows the song, JK doesn't quite believe him and tries to over-rule his choice. But when JH says JSJ could be right, he listens to her and JSJ is allowed to name the song and JSJ is proven right.

In episode 300, one of the wishes that JSJ makes during the writing challenge is for JH to get married soon. In episode 315, when JSJ finds JH pretty competent in the kitchen, his remark is 'now JH can get married' (reminds one of JK's mom's condition).

So we have had a couple of husband-wife references about these two last year and a lot of marriage references.

In episode 286, when the others suspect JH to be the criminal, JK and JH face each other and JK can be seen looking adoringly at JH and smiling for no reason.

In episode 289, when LDH says that Dubai or the hotel they are in is a romantic place for couples, you can see JH nodding her head. The next day when they all leave in a boat, JK makes the wish to visit Dubai again with his GF.

In episode 298, when both teams talk of exchanging members so as to identify the No Man, JH asks the opposite team to give them 'JK oppa'.

In episode 306, when JK asks JH to remove the tubes on the pole she had so painstakingly collected and guarded, she does it without questioning him in the least. And when the guys are making fun of JH in the opening saying she looks like an ajhumma who has come to buy land, JK quietly says that the sunglasses look good on her.

In episode 311, when the female guest Ha Jae Suk touches LKS' chest during the palm-attack game, JH as the captain of LKS' team steps in and complains to the production team with hand gestures that she touched LKS' chest and that it shouldn't be allowed. JK can be seen coming to pick his fight with JH and if we do a flashback, this is the woman who infamously touched his chest in episode 32 which made him even threaten to call the police, but then we are not shown who won that exchange.

In episode 313, JK teases JH calling her a sly fox and in an interview JH gives after that episode, JH talks about how RM oppas these days are calling her a 'sly fox' which has made her start wondering if she has that side (JH has this habit of referring to JK as 'RM oppas' or 'our members' when it is he alone who makes the comment. Only recently discovered (thanks to mainovi's post) how in episode 230, after JK talks about his unrequited crush on a girl in the bus for 3 years, when JH's team meets the flower boys' team, JH talks about how their members have had one-sided crushes on girls for around 3 years (when it is only JK).

In episode 315, when JK compliments JH saying she has good taste, JH looks shy (had to insert a self-compliment there, didn't you?) JH, who has an eye on the croquettes, jumps up and down like a kid when they are playing the slap the book game to get it. And when JK loses the game, he looks at her regretfully and then she pats him on the back to comfort him.

In episode 319, JK teases JH saying her waist is too long and that it can hold 5-6 name-tags which makes JH laugh and protest. (Perhaps this is a standing joke since the whole 'JH's upper body is longer than her lower body originated in episode 108 when SJ and JK tried to bully JH).

In episode 296, when JH's "friend" reveals that JH dated a celebrity 15 years back, JK stands up and claps (and I don't think he was quite in the appreciative mood there). JH looks aghast and can be seen earnestly trying to explain in his direction and Haha has to forcibly put JH's head down so that the cat won't be out of the bag.

@chelseafjl8 Wow. I didn't know you were already on to it. I always wish it would be great if someone can start collating discussion of the rest of the episodes too.

Family Outing  Ep 58 and 59

These two episodes are what we assume are spartace's first meeting. Since he's a singer and she's an actress, I can't imagine many events that they would meet at besides variety shows, and this is the first of his variety shows that she appears on. The pictures aren't working so you'll jsut have to watch the episode to see what I mean. 

So when SJH first arrives, we get a shot of KJK smiling and looking to his left before turning back to SJH. Personally, I’d call it a polite smile more than a genuine happy-to-see-this-person smile.

SJH bows to give KJK his dried fish. It looks like she started with KSR and KJK was the second person she gave the fish too. I just think it's cute that the first time they met, she gave him a dried fish.

Also, I just like that YJS says, “For some reason, I feel like we’ll make great memories here in MuJu.” I think so too lol.

KJK stays with KSR and Daesung in the opening and when walking to the house so he doesn’t interact or even pay that much attention to SJH.

When they get out to the barley field, KJK and SJH are also far away from each other, and we don’t see them talk on screen. That being said, towards the end of the barley picking, KJK and SJH are seen working next to each other, and when leaving the field, they are beside each other, so they probably did interact and it just didn’t make the episode. Just to be clear, SJH is the one wearing a yellow shirt and KJK is wearing the light blue shorts. 

During the water game, YJS picks SJH first, and KJK is one of the people who protests. However, when YJS gets to pick again, he smiles and says, in a sort of knowing tone, “Kook Jong, Kook Jong.” KJK smiles in response. He then asks “Are you gracing me with your selection?” So he may have been smiling because he was laughing at YJS’s voice, but I think YJS’s tone of voice might have been because he wanted KJK and SJH on the same team. The interesting thing is that YJS is the first spartace shipper. He's clearly teasing KJK about liking SJH here. Also, you can see SJH smiling shyly on the left side of the screen in reaction to KJK being on her team and YJS's teasing. YJS then says to KJK “You can’t hide how happy you are, huh?” And we get a shot of KJK smiling. And as KJK moves to stand by SJH< you can see her smiling and glancing in his direction. They both stand next to each other, half-smiling and stealing glances when the other isn’t looking. To be fair, it's probably pretty awkward to have YJS act like KJK has a crush on SJH.  

And then when it’s SJH’s turn to play, YJS asks someone to help her up. No one moves. And when SJH turns to look over her shoulder, it looks as though the person she turns to is KJK (because he’s the obvious choice). Finally, KJK steps up to help SJH. First Commander and Ace teamwork lol. 

And then SJH is so fierce at the game that everyone is shocked. I love how KJK has to put a hand on Daesung for support because he’s surprised at how fierce SJH is. And after SJH falls, you can see KJK holding out a hand to help her up, though of course she doesn’t need it.

KJK makes a joke that “I thought her toes were a weapon.” And SJH looks at him and laughs at his comment. 

When it’s time for KJK to play against KSR the Game Devil, SJH looks anxious. 

It’s hard to tell, but it looks like SJH might still be looking at KJK after his game against KSR is over. SJH also turns to say something to Shiyeon right after so it’s possible. 

So when it’s time for them to divide up for chores, KJK is sent off with Hyori. SJH isn’t talkative in big groups, so it’s hard to know her feelings on a lot of things. She laughs at the jokes YJS and co make about KJK and Hyori, and she shows none of the possessiveness that she shows actually pretty early on in RM. However, that may be because she is the guest here, not part of the main cast. Anyways, here’s SJH watching KJK and Hyori leave. 

So then we get to everyone’s favorite scene. There’s a video of just this scene on youtube if you want to watch. But when they find it’s hard to communicate with KJK and Hyori, YJS starts saying, “Jong Kook, Ji Hyo said…” In respond to this, SJH smiles and tries to cover YJS’s mouth. From what I can gather, she had said something about KJK to YJS that she is now worried YJS will tell KJK. However, YJS says, “She…ves you” which apparently SJH is okay with because she then proceeds to play along. “Jong Kook-oppa, …haeyo.” I still can’t believe this happened during their first meeting lol.

Again, we see that YJS sort of ships spartace in FO, but he doesn't push very hard for it like he usually does with KJK's love lines. And in fact, after this, he sort of drops the KJK-SJH jokes.

Then you get SJH doing her first variety Hot Issue. It’s so good that when KJK gets back with Hyori, YJS has to tell him how good her Hot Issue dance was. I love his stiff smile while she’s dancing. And then KSR comes back and SJH has to perform the dance again, KJK actually claps to encourage her.

When SJH does the Girls’ Generation dance, KJK misses it and he jumps up going “She danced again?”

They don’t interact really again until KJK and SJH are chosen to be ghosts. SJH smiles when she's chosen. And then, when they are leaving, KJK looks back at someone (possibly YJS) and smiles as he leaves. 

We don’t get to see it, but they probably interacted a lot while getting ready to be ghosts. We get shots of the and JongShin planning out their ghost roles.

They don’t interact much in the second episode, but there is a cute scene where SJH tells on Daesung to KJK, repeating what Daesung said about KJK. KJK and SJH stand side by side for awhile, laughing. Then they set the table together.

I personally don't get any more out of their reactions in this episode than that they may have had vague interest in each other (such as find each other attractive) but that's about it. Sorry, but I don't think there was any love at first sight. I think perhaps SJH said something about KJK to YJS that she didn't want repeated that caused YJS to do the "...haeyo" thing. There was definitely something behind the scenes that happened, I think, but we can only guess what actually happened. It's especially weird because YJS then just drops the KJK-SJH teasing. I think there's some rumors that KJK had a girlfriend during 2010 and they ended things right before RM started, so that may have something to do with why YJS stopped making jokes about KJK and SJH being interested in each other. But still, I can't believe SJH said "Jong Kook-oppa, ...haeyo" during the first meeting. If they do end up getting married, that'll be a great story.

i haven't watch the whole episode, but i agree with you.

i also suspect KJK still had a GF during the FO episode.

if you remember RM 2nd episode when they have to do the hanging goalkeeper game, and HH become the goalie. KJK  then joking around saying "Can HaHa defend the ball that attack from below ?"

then HH replied "aish, why do you always mention about height ?"

KJK say "then i'll talk about girlfriends"

getting annoyed, HH then say "Hyung, you never had a GF before ?"

@Adines Nugraha I suspect that the girlfriend referenced by HH and the girlfriend that broke up with KJK because of the gym are one in the same, but who knows. I do think KJK and SJH were just coworkers on FO, and perhaps we can say they were somewhat attracted to each other (enough that YJS teased both of them a little), but that's simply because they're both attractive human beings lol. 

@merada Yes, I assumed it was something similar to that. YJS asked her which one of the cast was most attractive or asked her if she was a fan of any of them, something like that.

Running Man Rewatch Episodes 2 and 3

SJH’s first episodes on RM! She’s still labeled a guest. Here are just my observations watching the two episodes. 

When SJH first arrives, YJS acts over friendly with her, and KJK leans over to whisper to HH, “Why does YJS act like she’s close to SJH?” The captions dub KJK as jealous. I don’t think that’s really true... The other RM members often complain how YJS acts familiar with people, male and female, that he’s not actually familiar with. Also when HH is complaining that YJS dropped SJH’s surname, KJK joins HH.

During the rock-paper-scissors game for the piggybanks, it looks like SJH’s eyes might be following KJK when he loses.

And then during the photoshoot game, KJK ends up right behind SJH, and it’s hilarious watching him awkwardly try to block her face without touching her. She ends up falling, and you can see him watching her after the photo is taken.

The big moment of this episode for me is when KJK jumps off the 10 meter platform. SJH cheered for most everyone and covered her face whenever someone jumped from the 7.5 platform or higher, but with KJK, long after he’d finished jumping, she has her hands to her lips and is watching him with this super impressed look in her eyes.

After that, when they are all watching the recordings of YJS, it looks like SJH is standing next to KJK rather than with her teammates.

So then we have the moment where HH and KJK talk about exes. SJH’s reactions are interesting, since she laughs along but it seems a little stiff in my opinion until HH says that it wasn’t an amicable break up, and then we get a close up of SJH laughing very hard. SJH also finds KJK being angry at HH really funny as well. It seems like she might be a little uncomfortable with the girlfriend talk until it’s clear that they are talking about exes, and then she finds the conversation amusing. As we’ve said before, I think KJK was dating during FO and then went through a break up before RM started. He’s still pretty sensitive about HH bringing up that the break up wasn’t amicable.

My opinion on spartace during the first two episodes is that they’re awkward coworkers. There are brief moments of attraction or interest between them (most notably is SJH’s reaction to KJK jumping off the 10 meter platform, but you could also include KJK complaining to HH about YJS acting close with SJH depending on how you interpret that scene), but that’s it. They’re not overly aware of each other like they are in later episodes.

And so these are my opinions on the FO episodes and the first two RM episodes. I wasn’t going to start on the next episodes until Monday or Tuesday next week. But I’m really curious to hear everyone else’s thoughts. Different interpretations? Anything to add?

Lee Sung Min, Shin Ha Kyun, Song Ji Hyo and Lee El cast in a movie together

 

Lee Byung-hun (Director of the movie Twenty) confirmed the casting of his new movie: Lee Sung-min, Shin Ha Kyun, Song Ji-hyo and Lee El.
According to the news the first shooting starts on the 13th.
The movie "Wind Wind Wind" is a story based on Jeju Island, which is famous for its windy conditions. It's the story of four men and women who dream of changing their lives and finding true love.

Lee Sung Min won the Baeksang Best Actor award in 2015 and Shin Ha Kyun won KBS Drama Daesang in 2011. I am so glad that JH finally got a chance to star in a Korean Movie once again also working with some amazing actors

@merada To be fair, though, she is hardly going to say "Yes, I had a crush on KJK" - especially if they're dating now. And if she vaguely says that someone caught her eye, then everyone will start speculating who and it could lead to more MC rumors. I personally don't trust what is said in interviews, because celebs are often very secretive about their relationships.

And I do not think they had crushes on each other in these first RM episodes, but perhaps they had a slight interest. Personally, I see it more from SJH than KJK.

re-watch from ep9 ,this ep was filming on 22/8/2010..

start from enter a place JH say on cute tone that song was play , and other members look at her including JK 

start play game (sing while ride roller coaster) then ,jk was only one from his team who is going and see other one  (YJS&JH) ..and he was laugh when JH didn't answer JSJ , even JSJ look at JK with angry face

then there was a scene when jh point to JK as he cheated on game , SBS little hit (?) JH there which make things awkward more and jk as usual try explain using logic things( which mean JH right lol)

so they play a second game (hide & seek) JK want to choose hide since his condition wasn't good (he actually did a surgery after ep+he did say in this ep his back is hurt after run) so jh also interrupt him and saying : don't lie , u want a date with SBS .
jh almost find jk each time on this game. no wonder she is good at searching and glance

SBS was act so touchy with JK on this ep (which i find jk was really uncomfortable with it ) even when she make this position he said:

do u really have to put your face here like this ?
(and we all saw how JH act same thing with him he never attack her much about her touching habit)

so after finish second game , they were sit and talk (tea time) as SBS ask for forehead kiss to jk . jsj was just throw comments 

that he will do it , then he look at jh saying :don't worry i wont do that with u ,YOUR FOREHEAD IS  SHINY , which make JK laugh hard 

and clap ,

 

then when JK did that .. JH is the one who start point at JK as he cry after it .

also on this ep YJS was make a joke about new couple (SBS&JK) happen there, but i get that feeling he was warning JK no go much with it , he even sometime try stop SBS when she want to do thing skinship(?) with JK , i think YJS at early day he and JK make clear point that to make 

another character to JK (as when RM start korean people was like 100% jk will just repeated another image {loveline king } )
jk was saying i think on old interview that RM it's his first attempt  to do new character without depended on another thing much (although 

things change but that was their intent )
+ watching this ep making me relised how was members back then really take RM as serious show and best , now it's same they are at 

ease .. not much caring about win but maybe about how concept will look

no , of course i wont expect she say that : i like this man i have work with on interview with gary .

but i mean she use excuse here which maybe mean she find them normal at appearance..

@merada Obviously we're going to have our own opinions. People might take evasion in the interview to mean that there is someone. It's easier just to lie and say "No, there was no one." KJK has been saying for years that he hasn't dated anyone since 2010.

I actually find it interesting that you just brought up ep 9, because I actually just rewatched it as well. I found it interesting how SJH reacted to KJK's love line with SBS. (You're probably going to disagree with me here too lol.) But SJH didn't seem very happy with the love line. Whenever SBS did something love line-ish with KJK, SJH was smiling stiffly or not at all. There was one time where she jokes that KJK just wants to be on the hide and seek team to be with SBS (which actually SJH tends to interfere with KJK's love lines, telling him to do more, as a way of expressing jealousy - see the water fairy episode where she tells KJK he should marry the guest). SBS at times seems to treat SJH as a rival. SBS gets into a fight with SJH when she accuses KJK of cheating, and then when the blue team is trying to stop the red team from turning off the music, SJH tries to restrain SBS (this is one of the few times SJH is rough with a female guest when she doesn't need to be). During the tea game, SBS also volunteers to fill SJH's cup and only SJH's cup. SBS puts in so much powder that KJK has to stop her and YJS has to dump some out, and then SBS jokes about how this is special treatment for SJH. I know a lot of people will argue with me on this, but I think at this point SJH had a definite interest and mild crush (enough to be possessive of KJK) by this episode. SBS picked up on it and started acting like the jealous wife accordingly (since that's her character in the love line).

I like the fact that she's playing the role of a wife being cheated on by her husband lol since she has already played the role of a cheating wife before hehe
