Later on, she confessed to him that she actually loved him. Then you could feel the regret Jae Min was feeling. So heartbroken. Great acting by Ji Won and In Sung and the rest of the casts. The chemistry was undeniable.

I came across this & thought it was the most bizarre thing that 2 artists could even possibly wear the same outfits on 3 different occasions. But it has happened w/ our Ji Won & Kim Yun Jin. And well, I don't know who is copying who but let's just say I might be a bit biased in who I think looks nicer =)

"Haeundae," to be directed by Doosabu head Yoon Je-gyun with actress Ha Ji-won ("Phone") reportedly cast in the lead role, is billed as South Korea's first disaster movie and centers on a tsunami that wipes out South Korea's most famous beach. Setting will be familiar to film industry execs as the location of the Pusan Intl. Film Festival.

Second pic is a sci-fi blockbuster about the crew of an oil rig battling a deep sea monster. A director has yet to be attached. Company is aiming to start shooting in the coming year.

Polygon will oversee special effects on "Haeundae" and will act as a full co-producer on the second project, while also handling rights in North America. Firm will be involved in both projects from the screenplay stage.

Company was launched in early 2007 by CG supervisor Hans Uhlig ("Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World"), who also directed the 2000 pic "Synchronicity."

Actress Ha Ji-won Helps Low-Income Youths

Actress Ha Ji-won has been helping the needy, including low-income youths, for the past year.

The Gangnam branch of Healthy Family Support Center said the actress has been taking an active part in the 'Smile Again Project' since December last year to help low-income and disabled children.

The center also said the entire budget for the long-term project was donated by Ha. It said the actress will be donating money every year for the project.

The project includes a custom-designed family support service that involves home-to-home cognitive verbal therapy, a project called 'Dreams Come True' providing money for education and extracurricular activities for non-disabled children living with disabled family members, a project entitled 'A Painting By Our Family' that involves family members visiting local community centers to paint their walls as well as a 'Happy Bank Account' to promote love and expression of love among family members.

Right! who doesn't use their celebrity status to make a difference...hehe. I don't know how Korea is, but over here in the U.S...doing charity is tax deduction especially if you are going to donate a huge sum of money. It benefits both ways. It is defintely a good thing whatever the intention or purpose is.

It seemed that Ji Won appeared as a cameo in SEX IS ZERO 2. Wonder why it's in her filmography while she didin't take the part, so I checked. So she was in the movie, making a cameo appearance. There is a lot of genre association with regions of Asian cinema. There are some films that one country will do better than the rest. And when you think of Korea one of the first genres that come to mind certainly would not be DISASTER MOVIE! But U.S.-based Polygon Entertainment has comes to terms with Korean firm Doosabu Film to produce two effects-heavy Korean features.

The first is Haeundae, to be directed by Doosabu head Yoon Je-gyun. It is billed as South Korea’s first disaster movie and centers on a tsunami that wipes out South Korea’s most famous beach, Haeundae, in Busan City. Now why does that ring a bell? The name is familiar to film industry players because Haeundae is also the location of the Pusan International Film Festival. Actress Ha Ji-won [The Duelist, Sex is Zero] has reportedly been cast in the lead role and briefly stolen my heart as I write this post. Polygon will oversee special effects on this film.

The second film is a sci-fi monster movie about the crew of an oil rig battling a deep sea monster. Having already done the monster movie really, really, well we’ll see if Korea can do it again. No director has been named yet and shooting should begin in 2008. Polygon will act as a full co-producer on the second project, while also handling rights in North America. Firm will be involved in both projects from the screenplay stage.
