Why haven't I seen this thread b4 ^^? I'm a GeunSuk addicted too. Thax u 4 the thread SillyYun & all of u 4 all the news, pics & everything ^^~ I did search 4 his pics since..... well.... I don't remember so my pics r old & I can't recall the sources T.T Some of them r in the pics, I hope that will be ok.

This boy is really great, he looks so confident when hosts alone & does great work when it comes to collab ^-^ I love his images also, it completely changes to fit the concept. He can be a baby or a gang, he can look older or younger as he likes & his voice is unique too.

I can't go here often as I wish so my tribute won't be great but hope u guys like it & support him more ^^~

장근석은 하나의 이름으로 규정지어 지지 않는다. 배우로 불리기엔 그가 가진 말재주가 아깝고, MC로 불리기엔 그 고운 목소리와 날렵한 몸놀림이 만들어내는 뮤지션적인 요소가 아쉬우며, 또 그렇게 그 두 가지만 병행하며 무대 위를 지키라고 하기엔 온몸으로 뿜어내는 타고난 배우근성이 몹시 서운하다. 그래서 장근석 한 사람쯤은 요즘 세대가 원하는 완벽한 멀티 플레이어가 되어도 나쁘지 않겠다고 생각했는데 영화 <즐거운 인생>을 보고는 다른 그 어떤 것보다 배우가 썩, 너무 잘 어울린다고 느꼈다. 솔직히 말하면 MC나 가수나 DJ로 그의 역할을 분리시키기엔 커다란 스크린을 집어 삼키는 특유의 아우라를 뿜어내는 장근석을 다른 어떤 것과도 나누고 싶지 않다. 함성과 요란함 뿐인 무대에 양보하고 싶지 않은 마음이 더 크다고나할까.

사랑하는 감정 연기 한 번 제대로 보여준 덕택에 <황진이>의 은호 도령을 벗어내자마자 그는 정말 쉴 새 없이 뛰어야 했다. 두 가지 프로그램의 진행을 맡아 말 재간을 뽐내야 했고, 세 편의 영화를 찍으며 연기의 스펙트럼을 넓혔으며 틈틈히 열심히 공부하는 학생 본연의 모습으로도 돌아가야 했다. 그가 가장 중요시 하는 감성적인 부분은 이제 얼마 남아있지 않은 상태. 장기적인 플랜을 세워두고 그 안에서 감성적으로 안정되어 있을 때 비로소 좋은 연기가 나온다고 생각하는 그로서는 빨간색 위험신호등이 깜박이는 타임. 우선 멈춤, 숨을 고르고 호흡을 가다듬을 휴식이 필요하다. 그런데 <즐거운 인생>의 롱런이 이어지는 가운데 그는 다시 신발끈을 고쳐 메는 중. 칼날 같은 성격을 지닌 매력적인 악역, 퓨전 사극 <홍길동>의 '창'이로 뛰어들 판이다. 조금 의외다. "욕심이 많아요. 일 욕심이 제일 크죠. 무조건 휴식을 외쳤는데, 대본을 읽는 순간 마음이 급해진거에요. 빨리 액션을 배워야겠다, 내가 뭘 준비할 수 있을까. 결국 일에 대한 욕심이 제 감성을 한 발 자욱 앞선 거죠." 하루에 8시간 이상씩 온 몸이 땀에 젖도록, 와이어에 살갗이 베이도록 액션을 익히며 장근석은 이미 '창'이가 되어가고 있는 중이다.
