I just read from chinese forum, they say korean fans are going to collaborate and decided not to watch today's episode and they hope today's rating will fall. They said that yesterday's rating is high because EOE did not air yesterday and temptation of wives episode was far too long so no choice got to tune in to BOF. koreans fans are worried that PD nim might be mistaken that yesterday's high rating was because of last part jaekyung and junpyo which falls on the bed and the swimming pool scene.

@ pinklover27: i dont find it a sudden transition of woobin's scene. it's better than some previous episodes. JP leaves the resort in his car and the film moves to the bridge's scene with a lot of cars are running and we see woobin stand there.

and about JD, she backs to the find the necklace but what she saw is absolutely a shock. how would u feel when u see your bf... with another girl? of course, u will forget everything. i'm sure, even when moving to a new house, she still cant stop thinking of it. oh, guys,. it's reasonable ^^

I did not mean that the transition to woobin's scene was poorly done, I meant some transitioning in the episode, as a whole, were quite clumsy.

I will be shock if I see my boyfriend with another girl, that's for sure. But is JP still JD's boyfriend? Technically, not anymore. Of course, just because they already broke up, does not mean that seeing JP--your ex/JK all cozy is ok...that would still hurt...Yes, there is the initial shock, but this is Geum Jan Di we are talking about. She is not the type to mope around for a long time.

Honestly, the first episode I saw JK I was like 'OMG WOW SHE'S SO PRETTY AND COOL' from the fighting scenes and her appearance and what not. So, my immediate reaction was 'I think I might like her more than JD now blablahblah'. However, within a couple of episodes that slowly began to change. I didn't let it bother me that she was throwing herself at JP and becoming a little pushy because I just believed it as her personality. HOWEVER, in this most recent episode, she is now aware of the situation and she still continues to act like that. When she brought up the whole 'first night' thing, that was seriously messed up and how she acts the same with JD. Now, she's just being manipulative and that's why I think she's annoying.

Of course, JD isn't perfect either but at least she has good intentions. Also, in general, I just have more respect for her because she has to work for what she has going for her, which isn't that much. She has a job, takes care of her whole family, keeps everything together, and goes to school. It's hard, so I respect her for that. And the fact that she is/was caught up in two boys just makes her even more human and real. It wouldn't be real if she just forgot about JH in a blink of an eye because JP started to like her.

35.5% Is The New Magic Number For "Boys Before Flowers"

Owing to a combination of several factors, KBS "Boys Before Flowers" has attained a new high of 35.5% viewership in yesterday’s broadcast of episode 18, the most since its debut, and at the same time making it victorious against SBS’s daily drama “Temptation of Wife”.

"Temptation of Wife" was affected by the showing of "World Baseball Classic" (WBC) and hence lost to "Boys Before Flowers" by a narrow margin of 0.3%. Apart from this, the other reason for "Boys Before Flowers" triumphant, was the no-broadcast of "East of Eden", which was also stopped due to WBC. The special episode of SBS "Princess Ja Myung Go", aired yesterday only obtained a single digit number, as common with all special episodes.

Despite the complaints of many viewers about the increasingly 'torturing' storyline and characters development, the ratings still made an increase to a new high. Some viewers expressed outrage against the plot development, especially that of Jae Kyung, who was supposed to be a lovable and innocent character but seemingly tried to cling onto Joon Pyo even after knowing the truth about Joon Pyo - Jan Di love. (Need factual checks as I don’t really know the story of Hana Yori Dango). She has garnered alot of hate as of now. Personally, I feel that she is just an attestment for the love between Joon Pyo and Jan Di, so well, don't hate Jae Kyung or Lee Min Jung. Blame the screenwriter if you must, because I too, feel that the plot has been relatively poor since episode 13. The supposed upcoming rumoured 'wedding' of Joon Pyo and Jae Kyung or Jan Di and Ji Hoo, depending on which version of the story, doesn’t really help in any way as well.

The part where YJ went nuts after GE left was because GE confessed to him that she liked him. Then he basically says 'thanks but no thanks' for three reasons.

1) He doesnt mess with nice girls

2) He doesnt mess with dumb girls

3) He doesnt mess with girls who know (or are involved in any way) with his friends.

He tells GE that she belongs in all three categories.. basically saying sorry we can never work out. he said "My answer is no.. you know the way out right?" (yikes)

GE looked quite shocked and left.

After she left.. YJ showed that he hated himself for hurting her like that. He wants to induce pain on himself and almost went to slam his injured hand on the table but instead picks up something and breaks all his pottery. He probably feels so bad for letting things get out of hand with GE ..to the point of making her fall for him. Also he hates himself for not being able to reciprocate her feelings...since he is controlled by his own "rules".

I really hope they end together, but he has get over his problems before he can move on.

Cant wait for the next episode.. when he decides to give himself a chance with her, he get that piece... Lets hope for the best.

Episode 15 in the drive back from JP's birthday party was pretty clear to me. She knows and unwilling to accept more. I thought it was pretty clear to JH too since he didn't push it further when she cut him off from confessing more.

And if she can reconcile JH with his Grandfather, then it resolves the monk's words about her making him a family.

Today I am so talkative.

I think it's not really clear due to Jandi at this time focused only on Junpyo things and she really thought that JH was angry with JP while saying those words

It may be clear to JH, but it is so unfair to him that Jandi would never knew about his love for her. He had no chance just to tell her that she is his love. It's so sad and regretful..

I really hate that..

i'm just going to say one thing about episode 18, because it was by far the most ridiculous/most random episode we've had so far and that's saying a lot since there were so many episodes that were just as ridiculous....

I think JK pretty much KNOWS it's JD, but she wants to confirm it further. She is partially in denial of the fact that he likes someone else. She can't understand that.

- doing that to JD was a little manipulative, but i think it was also her way of getting to the truth: did JD and JP have something? By JD's reaction, it confirms it for her. That's why she walked away crying. If JD didn't react that way, then I don't think she would care so much. Plus, it makes it a lot harder because if they point have feelings for each other then she would have no chance. If they didn't, then she still stood a chance with JP b/c JD is not competition. Hence, I don't think it's to HURT Jd, but more of a method to get the answer she wants without directly asking....she directly asked before and JD didn't give her a good answer. If I were JK and with JD as a friend, I might feel somewhat betrayed b/c my friend led me to hope/dream without giving me all the information, etc etc.

- remember, she does not know the reason why they broke up. If JP is still so hung up on JD, she might think that JD dumped JP, therefore, she should go on full force to get him: i.e. cooking for him, giving him teh couple rings

all in all, I think that it's a little biased to hate JK because we are looking at it from an audience's point of view; but if we were in her shoes, (while we might be perceptive enough to know), denial is denial: she's not hurting anyone to TRY to get the guy she likes; i think everyone has that right.

Hmm...the korean fans boycotting the show? What? Why? Well, even though it was explained, still it is not good to boycott the show. It might affect the other actors. Assuming that the PD is not that dumb and realize that the fans want more JD and JP moments, but I thought that towards the end of the show, there were a lot of JD and JP scenes. So, is it for sure that he won't think that they are boycotting JD and JP moments. Hmmm...just a random thought. But, no matter how much I don't like a show, I will not boycott it because it could affect the other actors in the show and besides, I don't want the ratings for this show to drop.

In regards to that hyung part, even the chinese subs subbed it as "brother" and I was so shocked to see that. Would he ever call him hyung?

Thanks snowy22 for the spoilers, but please tell me that there are more girls or we are going to see a whole bunch of guys kissing each other and that is kind of weird to me.

I never really had a good feeling for the season 2 of BOF, but I'm starting to be okay with it because I really like watching the cast, so I just accepted it. There one thing that is bugging me with the Soeul couple. I mean, in Season 1, we actually kind of see YJ have feelings for GE and it seems that everytime that she is there or she talks, he would have a reaction. But apparently after 6 months (do they not see each other during that time), he seems to be cold to her and not really talk to her that much. So, within those 6 months, he decided that it was not a good thing to be nice to GE? Well, I don't really know how to explain it. All I'm saying is that for the Soeul couple, the feeling for season 1 is different for season 2. I hope EJ ends up telling YJ to accept GE and apologize to her for being that mean to her tomorrow.

I actually can't wait for the maid arc because I love to see JP's reaction to JD being a 'personal maid'.

I know that it is sad for JH cause he always ends up with nothing, but at least he will get his grandfather in the end. And with JD, well, as long as he is happy, he can do anything he wants which includes hurting himself (well in our eyes) to be close to JD. I really want to see him reconcile with his grandfather. What episode would that be? I don't think it would be the next ep. because that would be too fast, but I really want to see that part. Considering the fact that his grandfather seems to have heart problems, I want him to get to be with this grandfather just in case anything happens.

Well, after tomorroww, there would be 6 episodes left and many things to talk about. I really hope that the PD knows what he is doing.

Episode 18 was the typical monday episode..It was quite noticeable that they were contraint with time.

The transition between scenes were poorly done, that's understandable to me though. Plot wise, it would;nt be BOF

without inconcistencies. Probably the most random scene in this entire series was Woobin's failed suicide attempt.

I had a "what the heck" moment at that time.LOL..I appreciate that the PDs are actually listening to what the fans

want, but isn't it too late to start a new plot now, when there are still a lot of loose ends, plot wise? Just my opinion...

Why is JD not even looking hard for the necklace, when she almost died looking for it?

what a shame they couldnt put more effort to make like those beginnings...given all the accidents happened recently, ...

and there are more sudden or no-connection later on...finish so suddenly...

do you guys think that it's possible that if they decide to do the whole 'amnesia' arc, instead of introducing a new girl for jp,maybe they'll keep JK in as the girl? for me that made more sense, just because we havent heard anything about anyone being cast for that part..

i would actually like to see this happen instead of kicking away jk and introducing a new girl. as much as JK annoys me, I'd rather watch an already developed character than to watch a new one for that will only appear for 1-2 episodes. if that's the case, it'll probably tie in the "wedding" too...JK and his mom will tell him she's his fiancee, and that they were really in love and is about to get married. the mom will probably want them to marry asap, before he regains his memory and cause problems towards the wedding. JK will see this as her opportunity to finally win JP's heart.

I really like her character as well. Her and JD could have been such great friends if it weren't for the circumstances, it's actually really sad to see them like this because they really do like each other. You're right, she has all the reasons to feel betrayed when JD didn't tell her about their relationship. But also, JD didn't want to hurt her by telling her, especially after JK actually falls for JP. I feel like they unintentionally hurt each other so much, but the they also always kind of put up with it as well. When JK was so clueless and hurt JD, JD never really resents her back. And when JD ends up hurting JK because JD didn't tell her about her relationship with JP, JK still treats her the way she did. She may have crossed the line at the resort, but it almost seemed like hurting JD on purpose affected her more than when JP told her he was in love with someone else. And then she goes to visit JD's house after she moves, which shows that she still cares about her.
