Today we got news that Kim So yeon has confirmed to appear in SNL Korea Season 9 which episode will be broadcast on 29th April.

I find SangWoo pretty interesting too. In almost all the recent photos I found him in, he's wearing that same or similar hoodie. And the hoodie in the recent photos seems to be quite an old one (you can see the rims of his sleeves have roughen)  He's not extravagant at all and much more like a common person than a celebrity.

He intended to be a specialist in Bio Industry Sciences or Food technology, something like that. He would have been a handsome engineer. But he has a physic as a model and an actor so it is understandable that he was swept away in this business.  But his own personality has remained but I am glad that he is so down to earth (just like Soyeon). Soyeon liked to spend money on luxurious things but now she is more frugal. They are well matched. This is what many people sensed looking at them and I think it is true.

Almost a week until we`ll see Soyeon on SNL Korea. And then hope to see some pictures with them in Vienna. I can`t wait for the pictorial. Hope they will show it around their marriage, hoping at the end of May. I think it will be for June edition. If Soyeon will be in a drama in the last half of the year It will be like in heaven for her fans.

There are two articles about Soyeon and they are remembering her activity until this year.

One is talking about her 20 years old movie Change who is memorable for anyone who spent the middle / high school days in the early '90s. So many sweet pictures of them together lately which is great for fans shipping them like us.

I watched episode 1 of Chicago Typewriter but it did not engage me very much so did not have the interest to continue watching. I watched 2 episodes of Man to Man and loved it. It has a James Bond vibe. It is very tongue in cheek and lots of fun. Join us in the Man to Man thread if you are watching. First drama I am chasing and watching live and joining a drama thread after Happy Home. Wow, that seems so long ago when we had such great fun in the Happy Home thread.

Speaking of Man to Man, how come they did not think of offering the female lead role to Kim So Yeon? She would be age appropriate and she rocks the short hair cut. It is a plum role garnering a lot of attention. I thought Kim Min Jung is doing great in the role too but many viewers seem to find issues with her appearance and her short hair style and that  she is not pretty.

I am sure anyone would agree our girl is gorgeous in short hair style like below. Aw, this brings back memories of Iris and I really love her short hair there. Maybe if they can make Man to Man into a franchise like James Bond, our girl can appear in the next installment. I really love her in action thrillers.

I would have loved to see our girl in an action drama. I did not start yet Man to Man but I heard that it has good ratings and there is a buzz around the drama. Soyeon demonstrated that she can do action dramas very good. But I think they cast Kim Min Jung right. I don`t care when people are being picky especially about the appearance of the actors. We know mostly the actresses are prejudiced more against their appearance. I read some comments even about Soyeon not being pretty enough or that she looks old. Those shallow and immature comments are annoying but it is better to be ignored sometimes. I hope the female role is important to the story and that she can stand on her own in that drama. If Soyeon will do an action drama again, I want her role to be meaningful and active. I read recently about a spinoff of OCN Bad Guys. I have not seen Bad Guys yet but from the comments, the important female role (played by Kang Ye Won) was not loved by the audience. I wonder why they made female role so lacking. Or maybe there is another picky situation again. I was thinking that they could create a badass female character in the spinoff, make one of the "bad guys" a female. I would love to see Soyeon took a similar role someday. Why they don`t make more interesting roles for actresses?

Soyeon `s role in Iris was a success. I believe that they intended to give Sun Hwa more stories but the project never materialized. They started something with Athena, then so little in Iris 2. I would have loved if Sun Hwa or another female character will be front and center in an action drama. We know that the productions will not risk a female centric drama or movie. Too bad.

Me too. I am curious what kind of dress she will chose. In WGM she said that she likes the low back dresses.   She will look gorgeous anyway. But we could see her in different dresses on the pictorial and then at her real wedding. I can`t wait too.

I missed this post the first time.   Yeah. lots of pictures for us lately. Let them continue this way.

I start Chicago Typewriter. It is a little unusual drama but I like it. I`ve not started yet start Man to Man and I intend to start when there are half of the episodes. I don`t watch live any shows except for Soyeon`s dramas. I usually watch her dramas one time the live broadcast, then again later without subbs to see if I miss something and one time subbed. Almost 3 times each episode). At the moment I watched 5 dramas that are current airing but only one time with subs and it is a record for me to watch so many dramas all at once. I have so little time and I comment sometimes but not as much as I want because it is time consuming to be active in a thread. I can`t handle fast threads as well from the same reason. If there will be Soyeon`s drama this year we`ll meet at that thread for sure.

From what I am reading she will play a bodyguard. And with her low physical stamina I assume they will make some jokes... We`ll see. I usually don`t laugh at SNL Korea. Hope it will be hilarious this time or at least some fine jokes. I hope they will make Iris parody. But I will enjoy seeing her on screen just staring at us.

Kim So-yeon uploaded a picture on the Instagram when she went to the Matsumoto Raji Galaxy Railway 999 exhibition at the Hangaram Art Museum early this month. She wore a black coat and is 100% synchronized with the anime girl.
