Actually, scripts are the reason I tend not to do real-time week-by-week SBS watching (apart from the generally lousy live streaming from SBS servers). SBS are much slower to put scripts up than the other two stations (e.g. Robbers 1 +2 scripts only just went up, I don't expect 3+4 for a few more days yet). And without scripts to back up my patchy grasp of the soundtrack, I don't like to chip in. Added to which I have a lot of "real" work to do over the next few weeks. I second that sentiment. Don't waver! Your insights are always eagerly anticipated!

I realized that, after our Insoon experience, watching the RAWs first & discussing them with awesome people significantly enhances my kdrama watching experience. With subs, I'm usually too busy reading them to fully grasp the actors' performances and all the camera work & artistic aspects of the drama. Btw, Insoon subs for ep. 10-12 are out. Yay!!! Wish I had time to watch them...

RE: Kiim Jin Goo shi and his elderly father and the marriage to to JinDalrae -

I just rewatched ep. 2 - and I realized I had missed an exchange -

JinGoo-sshi tells his dad that there's not enough time to get married before he leaves the country -

That the window of time is getting closer and closer -

His father says if he doesn't marry her, that he can't leave Korea.

When he reminds his dad that he's an adult - his dad says he'll give all his money to charity -

When he tells his dad he's too busy to go to dinner with her - his dad says he'll give HALF his money to charity...

His father wants him to marry JinDalrae - so the the JinGoo can go to Wall St. and leave jinDalrae behind to care for him.

He comments on how well she cares for her mother-in-law and that he wants THAT kind of care for himself -

So he's going to marry her and leave her behind while he goes to Wall St. to work.

Well, that's chutzpah!

I guess that's why the marriage is so important to both of them.

I've seen until episode 2 so far and I must say I love it!

Thanks for sharing the High Defintion version of Ep3, just love these MKV files at 720p resolutions making viewing of the drama at different level of experience.

I have finished downloading all the parts for Ep1 and since this is timing I am doing it here, could you please advise how I could merge all the three parts together as I could not find any execute/program files to do it. Thank you very much.

Sorry to bring down the mood in here, but IMO Oh Joon is a mean, despicable man. The way he treated Yeon Ah and the things he said to her.. it's close to violence and abuse, especially verbal abuse. Saying things like, "Yeon Ah, just die." If Oh Joon were played by someone ugly, I'm sure there would be a lot less people sympathizing with this character. In fact, if Jang Hyeok and Kim Jung Tae (the actor playing Jin Gu) were to switch roles, I'm absolutely postive more people would be rooting for Jin Gu than Oh Joon.

Korean dramas.. they always manage to romanticize the worst people you could imagine. Well I don't fall for that no matter how good looking the actor may be. So Oh Joon falls in love with Dahl Rae and changes his ways.. that makes up for a lifetime of deceit and taking money from people? Sorry, I'm not as quickly forgiving..

For myself, I'm watching this drama just for Jin Gu. I really want to see where the writers will go with this guy since he isn't your typical evil, second lead. I find his social awkwardness charming and I'm so amused by his tiny steps of learning to be more acceptable, like here..

he's trying to make it up to Soon Dae by literally, trying to be an airplane. How cute is that?!

I'm excited to see Jin Gu's social progress in the next episode. It looks like Dahl Rae does take up his offer to be sort of a social teacher to him.. during their phone conversation in today's episode, Jin Gu confesses he really doesn't know how to act and asks Dahl Rae to help him. He says he'll stop bringing up marriage and instead asks her to teach him how he can get married. Basically he wants her to teach him to be more socially acceptable so he can get married, but not necessarily married with her.

Hi Lawrence! I just thot I'd answer if no one else has as of yet....I just downloaded the High Def parts too.

I use "HJ Split" there are links back on the Threads directory...however, in the interest of expediency for you -

just Google HJ Split - find their home page or any of the other sites that have free downloads and install it on your computer.

it is awesome - and VERY easy - to make it even easier - just create a folder that says "Robbers Ep. 4" and move your 3 parts there - and the rest is self evident -

I think you can tell by my previous posts today - I am a BIG FAN of this character too -

that's why I rewatched ep. 2 today - to clear up my mind about the reason they (him and dad) picked DalJinrae

You just watch him on the screen - and I don't know about you - but I keep thinking - this guy needs a hug, really really soon!

I adore him - and his conversations with Soondae are priceless -

I am "gobsmacked" everytime I watch them -

1. because they're adorable as a pair

2. because that little girl is holding her own in major scene from a major series!
