    Just a further testimony of HB's kindness. I am sure Thai fans are so happy and as proof this Amado product sold out so fast the moment word was out that HB was the endorser.

    Just as he did for Smart, when sent over the jackets used during CF and he signed them, without being asked. HB really appreciates his fandom. Reason why the love is being returned to him, as well as to Jinnie, many times over! :heart:

    @Restless_Hearts, SYJ is not the first kdrama actress to endorse a Phil brand. Park Shin Hye was a Bench endorser in 2017. Bench has been consistently bringing top Korean males stars, and currently having HB is really amazing. With that being said, this coming SYJ Smart endorsement is way bigger, more anticipated and truly will be a landmark for the telco. If they could put together HB and SYJ in one ad, it will certainly be for the books.

    @CartPusherInLA, dressing as couples is very common in South Korea. Whether straight out matchy-matchy or complementing outfits. Their outfit coordinations definitely spells COUPLE! Loud and clear!

The first captain riVeal teaser came out on May 27 - also the day the press release for Smart and Bench came out to announce HB as an endorser - Smart did the eyes emoji to the person on twitter that left the SYJ comment. The original CF was suppose to be release on June 1 (it got leaked and came out on May 31) :P Metro.style interview came out on June 1 and also when the media presser took place :) 

     

    So August 3 would actually be the announcement and the first teaser :P since it happened on a Monday for Binnie too hahaa. Also I said it would be in August since she filmed it :lol:

     

     

     

    Aww I feel bad for you! If it is indeed Aug 3, 2pm Manila time, that will be like 2am your time! Is staying up an option???

    It is the end of the month tomorrow. If i remember right HB's SMART ad was supposed to drop June 1, which was  Monday. However, the week prior to that, there was much frenzy when in one day it was simultaneously announced that HB was endorsing both Bench and Smart. Bench's announcement came first with the catch line of your crush landing on you soon! An hour or two after, Smart also aired their announcement about the big RI-veal. I remember feeling so giddy that day. My friends and I who are HB fans exchanged messages back and forth about the exciting news. I then remember searching everywhere on the net about this and i found a similar private FB group with this new Smart Signature Choice. I  can no longer find this group now but I remember it consisted only of a handful of people (12 or less), all from Smart. 

    HB's Smart ad actually came out before June 1. It dropped on the weekend, a Saturday if I'm not mistaken. For folks who have a better memory, please feel free to correct me. I think it was a race with Bench, who knows? The point is, I see the same pattern here. Teasers and hints, then a private FB group, finally an official announcement, then the commercial. So the next few days are crucial. Lets keep our eyes and ears open girls and boys!  FIGHTING!

    Last night it was raining hard in my part of the world and for some reason, I could not seem to settle down to sleep. Ofcourse I've read everything here on the forum already, scrolled through all my feeds and shuffled and reshuffled my Korean OST playlist in spotify. 

    Finally, I decided to rewatch certain portions of CLOY and guess what? It did the trick! Rewatching it gave me a warm and cozy feeling, sort of like drinking a glass of milk which gives contentment to your tummy. 

    I particularly wanted a specific scene, which took me a while to find. I knew it was in the earlier episodes, found that it was in 3. Lo and behold, i found it just now in twitter!

    Yes, it is the exact moment during the clam bulgogi scene, when RiRi found themselves falling in love. OMO, this scene takes my breath away. It transports me to another time and place, and I fall in love alongside them. The look of shyness, then realization in their eyes is just almost unbearable. So sweet and poignant at the same time.

    I marvel at the superb acting, but also know that a similar version of this shyness and akwardness happpened in real life during TN promo period. Sigh! 

    Saying it for the nth time. CLOY is such an everlasting gift. :heart:

    I also started following HB fashion in IG, mostly to drool on him actually! Ofcourse seeing all those expensive designer brands also leads me to think about all the perks of being a celebrity, something we could only imagine. So its nice to see him in more ordinary clothes and accessories, more of the real him. My fave look of his remains to be a plain white shirt and his denims, pretty much like him at work at CLOY script reading. Just to say, that since i've started shipping BinJin, i've followed so many people in IG, with no idea who they are, except they have some sort of connection with BinJin. LOL!

    @bin-jin, thank you for finding this video of JDG snatching HB's cellphone. I have seen it ages ago and only understood it as playful banter between HB and his sunbae. Seeing the friendship between these two was interesting to say the very least. However, now knowing that there could be more context behind this makes it so much more fun! Could it be that JDG wanted to see if there was actually something "incriminating" in HB's fone and while he will not be actually scrolling through HB's messages or gallery, he just wanted to solicit a telling reaction from HB? He would know as they have been close friends for long, right? Or, JDG does know there is such evidence in HB's fone, and really just wants to prank him? That is even if @Onewaytrain mentions he actually just wants the light turned off from the phone being beamed at him, it probably made him uncomfortable someone else holding his fone.  It really quite amuses me to see HB actualy chased after his phone.

    @celest1al, good thing you are always dependable to put context on things with your knowledge of Korean. I do agree with you that what could be more telling is that SYJ's name being mentioned right alongside HB's, like it was the most natural thing to do. IMHO, BinJin must really be an open secret in K-Ent, especially at this point in time. Like what a lot of you have pointed out, it is nearing 6 months since CLOY has ended. There is no longer any need to drum up any interest for the show. And yet they show up at BAA with coordinated outfits, right down to the same shoe brands, with make up artists and stylists possibly working together at that! It's really just a couples thing now........

    Lastly, while it is nice to think that HB footed the grocery shopping bill in LA, i think we will never really know. We could make all sorts of assumptions, but unless one was actually there to witness HB at the check out counter pulling out his wallet or whipping out his credit card, we'd never know. I know, it's drought season but let's not be on overdrive here. What matters is that it is really a fact that LA grocery shopping happened and thus the birth of #INGROCERYWETRUST. 

    So trusting that Bin-ssi is filming productively in Jordan and enjoying his craft beer at the end of each day, with quality facetime with SYJ recounting on how his day went.

    @ElectricHearts, same here. I checked Spotify and was disappointed that it did not have the Yoon Mirae song. It's Okay, it's love is on Netflix though, i might as well watch it :D

    @charray, thank you for the update on Binnie. Good to know he has started filming in Amman. The sooner he is back in SK, the better. He has to be home for his birthday! Looks like the assistant stock up on beer for himself and somebody else who wants a glass after a day's work.;)

    So let me get this straight. MITH episode with Ye Jin was shown November 2018. The memo note of the Yoon Mirae song on her phone was dated 10-13-18. It is from the drama IOTL, which starred GHJ, Ye Jin's close friend. For sure she watched the drama and probably liked the OST. (I listened to the particular song, it's cute). During this time frame, HB was already very much in the picture. And the lyrics of the song....

     

    Because we spent such a long time together, I was comfortable with you as my friend

    I didn’t even know this was love and that’s how things were

    If I don’t see you, I miss you, you keep appearing in my dreams

     

    So telling right? It seems they really started as friends, and ofcourse along the way as the relationship developed, there was a bit of apprehension.  Is he/she the rigjt one? For sure they shared drinks ever so often and ended up saying things powered by alcohol.....

    Then my heart pounds all night so I can’t sleep

     

    For sure, many can relate to this! Confessing secret thoughts and feelings, alcohol giving us the courage to say words we could not otherwise!

    Words I couldn’t say for a long time in case you grew apart.

     

    My delulu mind thinks that each of them, like you and me, had uncertainties before plunging into a relationship. Pretty normal, but more so considering both their statures in K-Ent.

     

     Perhaps Ye Jin really related to the message of this song, enough to put it her phone. Could it be because it is something she has gone through or is going through with Bin at that moment?

     

    And yes that is why Yoon Mirae sang Flower and why it was titled as such and why there is that soju scene in CLOY!  OMO, more and more we are finding clues aa to how CLOY is really about BinJin's real life relationship!
